20/07/2026: Wow! As the reviews say - gorgeous ambience & lovely and relaxed service and delicious food. Unassuming from the outside and opens to a beautiful courtyard and restaurant. Very near to the Arena and main shopping area. We enjoyed a late and slow lunch. Dari met every expectation and even with the poor $EU to Australian exchange rate, was still fair pricing for the experience.

28/05/2026: This restaurant was superb. The food, service and price was excellent. So much so, we returned for a second night and thoroughly enjoyed both occasions. The wine choice is excellent (we had Lugano S.Cristal it was first class) Would we return? - yes. Would we recommend to friends & family - yes. If you arrive on spec, you may find the restaurant full.

18/06/2026: DO NOT GO TO THE VEGAN EVENINGS. We went to the vegan evening with high expectations, but unfortunately, you need to be able to cook to make certain menu items... Unfortunately, all the dishes, including the risottos, were inedible... Some examples: very hard chard, served whole, so hard you couldn't even cut it with a knife... Apricot risotto with diced tofu on top: extremely salty risotto, and the tofu was inedible because it was cooked in enormous cubes, with no care taken to prevent the true flavor of the tofu from being apparent. Tzatziki risotto: since it's a "sauce" best served cold with a side dish or something else, it didn't fit in a risotto at all... The smell and taste were sickening, as was the warm cucumber pieces on top of the rice... The dessert consisted of a baked peach on a dark chocolate glaze, topped with an almond and cinnamon mousse... Aside from the truly original location, nothing else was worth mentioning. The next morning, we had terrible stomach cramps, and I won't say more... The cover charge was €2.50 per person, truly enormous. With drinks, we spent €70 for two appetizers, two risottos, and a dessert.

16/06/2026: One word to describe the dinner: EXCEPTIONAL!! From appetizers to dessert, it was a journey through tastes and flavors. The staff was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

25/07/2026: Bright and clean, the staff are very professional and genuinely friendly. Tables are spaced further apart than average, giving guests a sense of space and comfort. The menu is reminiscent of the old-fashioned Artusi cuisine, with no regional specialties but with a wide variety of "Italian" dishes like mushroom crepes, tortellini in broth, veal with tuna sauce, and various roast meats. It also leaves room for creativity in original dishes like pappardelle with guinea fowl ragù. Excellent selection of ingredients and well-executed recipes (the homemade egg pasta is textbook). Even the vegetable side dishes are prepared with care and attention to flavor and variety. Very kind to families and small children. In our case, they even offered to wash the dishes we had brought for our baby's food.

25/07/2026: A truly exceptional trattoria combining extraordinary hospitality and kindness, sincere and flavorful cuisine made with high-quality ingredients, and a lovely wine list at very reasonable prices. We enjoyed the delicious polenta with porcini mushrooms and Grana Padano cheese, the incredible tuna tartare with Taggiasca, and Grand Marnier ice cream with sbrisolona. A restaurant that restores your faith in humanity, and that's a very good thing these days. Bravo!

08/08/2026: Nothing but praise for this restaurant; we really had a delicious meal. We ordered three different pastas, our favorite being the truffle cheese pasta. The service was also incredibly friendly. It is a somewhat upscale restaurant, and it has that atmosphere too... we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

08/08/2026: I was right to note the restaurant's name after seeing the chef on a popular Rai TV show. I tried it for lunch and found it to be excellent. It combines the quality of the menu with the professionalism of the service staff, who remain smiling and friendly. The portions are adequate, which is not to be expected in a restaurant of this caliber, especially since the price is a pleasant surprise, especially considering the pleasant atmosphere and the quality of the tableware. Finally, in addition to the initial amuse bouche, we enjoyed the selection of small dry pastries at the end of the meal. In better weather, the outdoor seating is also very attractive, entirely in keeping with the quality of the interior.

06/07/2026: Beautiful place, Massimo and Ottavio are exquisite people, as is everyone else in the service. It's nice to be pampered in such a beautiful location.

20/07/2026: My review is about to be unexpectedly redundant, but: This is where you eat to get the authentic but off the tourist track food. The owner is also the maître d’. His brother and co-owner is the chef. His father is the busboy. While we were eating, a local taxidriver came in for dinner; he and the owner sat down to chat over his food - we shared our wine across the table. I both hope everyone experiences the food and service and atmosphere here, but also recognize that the locals will be very irritated if more tourists take up the limited seating options.

13/07/2026: Excellent food, very kind and welcoming staff. I've been to several places in Verona, and theirs is definitely one of the best I've eaten at. I'll definitely be back in September/October to try their bollito! Impeccable service! I only gave the atmosphere 3 stars because it was very hot, and since it's a small place with two fans, I suffered a bit from the heat, but it's still worth it. Highly recommended!

24/07/2026: We've had lunch/dinner there several times, mostly with friends. The table linens are carefully chosen, the place is clean, and the staff is courteous. We've always chosen the à la carte menu, but last night we opted for the "Giovedì della Locanda" (Thursday at the Inn), a menu chosen by the chef: cocktails, cicchetti, first course, and dessert... and we were pleasantly surprised. The wine list is excellent, and the quality/price ratio is definitely reasonable... highly recommended.

12/07/2026: Excellent food: beef tartare and seabass with mixed salad for two people and very good house white wine by the glass. There were some small blunders in the service, but overall it was a very pleasant experience!
