11/05/2025: Fantastic food, one could say that the way of serving and the quality of the dishes deserves a Michelin star. Waiters and service great. We didn't have a reservation, but they found us 2 places.

03/06/2025: All I say, is go, dine at this fabulous treat of a find in Garda town. The food, service, fun, hospitality, and ambiance are second to none. If we lived locally, we’d be in here every week! Jonny is so cool, very genuine guy, he took us through the specials board with time and care. Very welcoming and accommodating with our slightly shy, slightly teenager typical son! I had the steak with rocket and parmesan, cooked to perfection, grilled veg delicious. My other half had truffle tagliatelle, delicious and my son said it was the best chicken escalope and fries ever. Praise indeed! Jonny recommended his favourite Valpolicella red wine, which complimented the food perfectly. Sadly our last night of holiday or we may have been in here every night. The 5min walk from the lakeside is so worth it. Thanks to the team, the whole experience absolutely made our final night of the holiday.

17/05/2025: Arrived without a reservation and was seated immediately. As well as the main menu there are specials which the waiter takes you through thoroughly. The staff were very attentive and we had great service. Two mains, 1 desert and a half litre of wine came to €44.00.

22/05/2025: The hotel is in a building that was bombed in World War II. Its location is excellent, next to the main street, 200 meters from Giulieta's house and 500 meters from the Colosseum. The breakfast is very good, the rooms are spacious and the bathroom is great. The internet works well. The only negative point is that the parking lot is further away, so whenever you need to arrive or leave, you have to call someone from reception to go with you. If they put in a controlled entrance, this would be easily solved.

29/04/2025: The environment is undoubtedly perfect, everything in its place in rustic and familiar rooms, with hanging pots and drapes, antique tools restored and reused as cabinets or furnishing objects, photos of the past... Outside a pergola with tables perfect for summer evenings, on the walls all the awards obtained over time. Even though there are more rooms, it is difficult to find a place if you have not booked well in advance, even during the week. The menu is written in italics on a very nice notebook, it is not very vast but has excellent dishes. The trio of tortellini was a good choice, with different and unexpected flavors (ricotta, spinach and speck + pumpkin and amaretto + asparagus) and the portion is more than right given the size of the pasta. Cod with polenta is different from the Vicenza creamed cod in that it remains softer and tastier. The Rosi dessert with chocolate cream and amaretto is good, the consistency is a bit soft which I don't like but the taste was there. Prices are quite average

26/04/2025: Everything was delicious, the appetizers were plentiful and with a variety of products, the very kind owner made us sit, finding a table despite the crowd, and offered us some glasses of wine they produced, which was much appreciated. Thank you!

28/04/2025: I returned to the pizzeria after more than a year and found a delicious margherita pizza. And as a Neapolitan I can say that it is one of the few pizzas eaten in the Verona area that can come close to the traditional margherita, with a tasty, thick and soft crust. Excellent tomato and mozzarella and well done for the basil which unfortunately many "forget" is an essential ingredient of the classic and "simple" margherita. Friendly staff, despite entering the pizzeria late on a Saturday evening and without a reservation. Well done.

11/05/2025: A little jewel on Lake Garda! Pacengoto is a true pearl in Pacengo, a tavern with kitchen and wine bar where every detail is taken care of with passion and authenticity. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for those looking for a food and wine experience that combines taste, quality and warmth. The cuisine is surprising: carefully prepared dishes, selected ingredients and flavors that describe the territory in a creative way. Each course is a journey of flavours, designed to satisfy the palate and leave the memory of a special experience. The wine list is also excellent, with refined proposals and always timely advice. Here you leave with a light heart and a fully satisfied palate. A place to return to, and to be recommended to those who love good food and sincere hospitality.

11/05/2025: Dinner with friends we had a great time. Very welcoming place, Excellent quality of food, very sophisticated menu. Entico and his staff were very kind, they satisfied all our requests and intolerances. The selection of wines is also very particular, we chose a French one among other things with an excellent quality/price ratio. I must say that we had a really good time. Even just for an aperitif, the varieties of Tapas are many and all sought after. COMPLIMENTS

04/06/2025: The beating heart of Verona! A stunning historic square combining ancient architecture, lovely cafes, and local markets. The view of the buildings surrounding the square, and the ancient fountain in the center, gives you the feeling of being in a living painting. We had a lovely time strolling around and taking photos. It's a perfect place to sit, have a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere of the old city.

17/05/2025: Evening in company. Last night, together with some friends, I had dinner at "Risotteria Melotti" in Isola della Scala. I didn't know this place, but I can sincerely recommend it for the quality of its products which are truly delicious and of high quality and for the professionalism and kindness of the staff.

The food lived up to the context: excellent dishes, presented with refinement and designed to amaze. Each course is a perfect balance between flavor, aesthetics and creativity. I piatti, sempre preparati con ingredienti freschi e di prima qualità, raccontano la tradizione del territorio con gusto e semplicità. L’atmosfera è calda e autentica: merito della famiglia che lo gestisce, sempre sorridente e attenta, capace di far sentire ogni ospite come a casa. Un luogo dove si mangia bene, ci si sente accolti e si ha sempre piacere di tornare.

11/05/2025: Raw materials and ingredients are highly sought after. Except that the price still seems high to me: the margherita costs €30 (large, 8 segments), the other pizzas more. I took the one with culatello and tried the one with scallops, both very good. The dessert was good but not great. Good wine (€30 per bottle, the cheapest). In the end €50 each, a great deal for a pizza (small, 4 wedges), a glass of wine and a tiramisu (mediocre) with coffee (I forgot the cup of radicchio and cheese offered as a starter). For the rest, everything OK: excellent and fast service, nice and comfortable room, large car park 50m away
