I'd especially like to highlight the warm hospitality: the entire team was incredibly friendly and attentive. Even our little dachshund was immediately welcomed—we all felt very comfortable. An absolute recommendation for anyone who loves good food and a family atmosphere!

29/07/2025: From the outside, the restaurant appears completely unassuming, adorned only with a few plants and wine racks. But the outward appearance shouldn't be misleading: the quality of the local dishes, mostly home-style cooking and fish dishes, is truly outstanding! We each had several courses and were thoroughly impressed by each one. The same applies to the excellent service, which is handled exclusively by the owner herself; her partner works in the kitchen and prepares the delicious dishes. Particularly noteworthy, especially given the location just a block behind the Arena di Verona, is the absolutely fair price level. There is also a very balanced wine list with more than reasonable prices; most bottles of white wine cost only €15! However, the quality of the regional wines is significantly above average. The whole experience is rounded off by a truly delicious selection of desserts, some of which are also regional classics. In any case, we felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our visit before the opera evening – the restaurant opens early especially for opera guests! We would be happy to come back! A definite recommendation for Verona's city center. Thank you for the wonderful evening!

27/07/2025: It's been a while since I've been back, but it's confirmed to be a go-to place for anyone who loves meat and good food. Kudos to the team! Super friendly and punctual... people who convey their passion for their work, while also knowing how to have fun and make the customer feel at ease. The ribs were amazing! I also had the chance to try an excellent Ripasso. See you next time!

22/06/2025: Excellent trattoria with a specialty boiled meat cart but the first courses are no less. Risotto that is eaten at Prgola is unique and you can't help but eat it. Service always prompt and kind. Good wine list. In short, I consider it one of the best trattorias in the province of Verona and this is demonstrated by the fact that to find a place it is always advisable to book.

Abbiamo apprezzato molto il trattamento e servizio dato dalla padrona del locale, una persona squisita e gentile. Se desiderate assaporare degli ottimi tortellini, pasta fatta in casa, o dei piatti fuori carta, con prodotti freschi e di qualità, dovete assolutamente prenotare in questo ristorante storico. Locale con arredamento classico e curato nelle pulizia.

04/08/2025: I've had several opportunities to have lunch and dinner here. I was also here for a baptism, and just last night we celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary. Always extremely professional and extremely kind. The food quality is excellent, impeccable in every way. I'd say 5 stars, well deserved!

14/08/2025: Found by chance for a quick stop in the area. The bigoli are delicious and have a menu with about 10 pages of different toppings. In addition to bigoli, they also make tagliatelle and macaroni, all fresh pasta. The desserts are also excellent; we had a "sporcacciona" cake, a must-try, and a tiramisu. Everything was excellent, including the price! P.S. Portions are 200g, but they also do half portions.

03/09/2025: We want to add that two different friend groups recommended this restaurant. The food was extremely fresh, with a very good portion size. Mind you; the pasta sizes you see in the photos below is half a portion. The starters were great, very fresh and tasty. Everything was timed perfectly, with the chance for our daughter to eat first but also for us to enjoy the started with her. The wine selection is vast and very good prices. Everything is local, from the fish, the wines and the bread. We will come back for sure!!
