28/05/2026: We actually visited twice during our vacation. On our first visit, we enjoyed a set menu with wine pairings – many thanks to Fabio and the entire team, it was a wonderful evening. The second time, we dined à la carte, which was also delicious. While the service wasn't quite as attentive that evening as on our first visit, we can still highly recommend the restaurant. It was just a shame that the weather wasn't cooperating and we couldn't sit outside.

21/05/2026: Without a doubt one of the best restaurants in the whole Valpolicella area. Superb service, food is absolutely amazing and the ambient is very quiet and well maintained (the outside private patio is stunning)

21/05/2026: We went to this restaurant for lunch. After reading various reviews, we expected something more. The menu is à la carte, and there's also a chef's menu, which is definitely a workers' menu. We chose a middle ground: one first course à la carte, one second course à la carte, and one second course of the day. The first course was macaroni with Chianina beef ragù, which took a bit of time to cook, but the sauce wasn't bad. The second courses were a tagliata with mixed sauces and a veal cutlet in wine, both good, a bottle of red wine, two coffees, and a bitter liqueur. The total cost was €38, which was truly cheap. At the end of the meal, we discovered that the restaurant had only been under management for 10 days. The portions were generous, but the pasta cooking could definitely be improved. I give it 4 stars for encouragement!!!

08/04/2026: Went for dinner with my wife on April 3 and went back on April 6. I love food and wine . I've been all ever Europe for the last 40 years and this is the best meal experience of my life. Food, presentation, attention with out being suffocating, facilities, creativity is perfect. Matteo, the Michelin star chef was able to create my perfect restaurant, classy, friendly, professional and not snobby. I'm tired of going to restaurants where the personal tells me what my taste buds should appreciate. On the last dinner Matteo come twice to talk to us about the food and his creation ( inspired by Rita is Nanna) but what was the most revealing moment was when he said: “So what did you prefer?” He really wanted to know. At the same time with his open but glassed kitchen where we can see him work, he his constantly checking his customers reaction to his food. I honestly believe you get yours moneys worth. Matteo was 1 star Michelin at 19 years old(check it out) and Osterita ristorante while soon be one of the best in Italy.

07/04/2026: I've eaten at Osteria Ristorante Osterita three times now, and each time has been a great experience. The cuisine successfully combines tradition and innovation: carefully prepared, balanced, and never boring dishes, with great attention to the quality of the ingredients and seasonality. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, ideal for both a quiet dinner and a special occasion. The service is professional and attentive. Definitely recommended, I'll be back again! 👍

23/05/2026: The atmosphere and service were excellent but the tagliatelle were not with porcini mushrooms and the tagliata was overcooked and arrived already seasoned with too much salt even though the meat was very tender.

22/02/2026: Highly recommended! The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, just like the dishes and the people who work there. A wonderful food and wine experience. Over two days, we ate tortelli with radicchio and Monte Veronese, bigoli with duck, risotto with duck, prosciutto and cheese, cavolo nero and cheese fondue tart, giardiniera, cotechino with pearà, and excellent wine. A warm greeting to Nico, Roberta, Gigi, and Giulia, who made us feel like family, as if we'd known them all our lives, even though we were just passing through for a weekend. 18/04/2026: Excellent tasting, consisting of three wines, Ripasso Amarone and Recioto, with three courses each: appetizer, first or second course, and sbrisolona to finish. Everything was served in a beautiful setting with kindness and professionalism. They also have a bistro with outdoor seating, which creates a magical atmosphere in this small village of Castelrotto. Definitely recommended. We'll be back.

18/05/2026: Horrible is the first word that comes to mind. I had booked for one night, and thank goodness because it was a horrible experience. When I booked, the photos obviously showed the perfect room, but when we got there, everything was a disaster. The sheets were dirty; we slept with the towels I had brought, not to mention the dirty walls; the mattress was resting on a dirty frame full of dust. We didn't take a shower, let's not even talk about it. A horrible mirror, well, what more can I say? At 6:30 we ran away.
