24/03/2025: A beautiful discovery. Recommended by friends, a place with few frills but with excellent quality. Good choice of wines, dishes cooked very well and the maitre Daniele very friendly, present but not intrusive. Absolutely honest account, just a shame it was a rainy evening, we would return in the summer to also be able to enjoy the lake view and the outdoor tables. Absolutely recommended.

20/02/2025: If you are looking for an informal but particular, friendly place where you can drink and eat in company and listen to good music, this is the ideal place! You can't leave without having fun! I would give a premium on everything! Vintage themed place with gorgeous pieces of furniture, fantastic food and the quality of the cured meats, cheeses and meat are spectacular. Even the vegetarian dishes are top. Great selection of beers. Always live music on the weekend with musical gems you don't expect! And then in the summer it opens up to the party. Large outdoor space with even Mexican "food trucks" and lots and lots of nice people! For the more "daring" there is also a skate track! Highly recommended!

11/03/2025: Risotteria Melotti is a small place in Isola della Scala where rice is obviously king. Any product is gluten-free, including bread. We ordered fried gnocchi with cured meats, arancini, risotto all'isolana and cacio e pepe. What can I say, the risotto was probably the best I had ever eaten and the portions are so generous. As for the other dishes, I appreciated the fried gnocchi and the tiramisu, less so the arancini which in my opinion are too far from what one expects as arancini. The prices are low considering that you leave the place with a really full stomach. The only note is the service, which is a little too cold for what is instead an "inn" context. That said, highly recommended.

20/12/2024: We were just this evening we were looking for a place to eat a quick pizza in addition to the nice welcome and courtesy of the pizzas with special ingredients such as stracciatella pistachio pumpkin ragù I had a pizza with stracciatella ham and chopped pistachios stuffed in abundance! It was something so delicious that we took two more slices to take home, we also made the card and will come back again! Fantastic thanks

14/03/2025: At i Tigli you don't eat a simple pizza, but something unique: the only way to understand is to come and try it! The doughs are one better than the other and all extremely light. Among the pizzas I tried, my favorite was the one with seared squid (I attach photos).

23/03/2025: On the advice of a friend who lives in Verona we had dinner at Locanda Ristori. The atmosphere is very pleasant and even though it was full we were able to talk in peace. From the menu we chose the shin marrow as an appetizer, the boiled meat and its sauces as a second course, the giardiniera as a side dish and the pear in red wine for dessert. We agree that everything was truly exceptional and balanced as was the service! Every time we return to Verona it will be our go-to restaurant…

16/03/2025: La cena con gli amici, il compleanno, il pranzo di famiglia: ogni occasione è buona per deliziarsi alla Locanda Ristori. Menu che interpreta la cucina veronese seguendo la stagionalità con piatti gustosi ma mai pesanti. Dolci fatti in casa, squisiti e coccola finale con biscottini e cioccolatini. Ampia scelta per vegetariani e con l’accortezza di anticiparlo al momento della prenotazione, disponibilità a offrire proposte vegane e gluten free. Il tutto in una sala luminosa con un arredo semplice e di stile e tavoli ben separati. Nota positiva anche per il servizio: molta attenzione agli ospiti e soprattutto tanta cortesia e gentilezza. Complimenti allo Chef e allo Staff di questo ristorante che conosco ormai da 4 anni e che continua a migliorare!

10/04/2025: Wir sind weit gereist in Italien und das Maffei zählt zu den allerbesten Restaurants im Land. Ganz große Kunst die hier aus der Küche kommt und das beste Tiramisu aller Zeiten. Wir hatten vier Gänge und waren restlos begeistert. Service extrem aufmerksam und dennoch unaufgeregt. Wunderschönes Gebäude, eine richtige Oase. Einziger Wermutstropfen war dass wir zum Abschied mit den hausgemachten Cannoli vergessen wurden.

30/03/2025: Excellent discovery, delicious lunch, welcoming staff and very good and refined food, the environment is not very large, it has a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake and is located a little outside the center along the panoramic road, we had a very good time and will return, I recommend the bigoli with sardines they were special... Normal prices...

30/03/2025: Wonderful discovery, I was getting off on my motorbike and I found this restaurant by chance where I took the opportunity for a quick lunch stop. The environment is beautiful in everything in my opinion, fast service and friendly staff, the toilets were very clean. I ate a very good cut with perfect cooking. Beautiful lake view. I didn't have wine, when I'm on the motorbike I avoid it. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone in the area. P.S. I advise anyone who complains about having paid so much to go to the supermarket to get two sandwiches or look for a McDonald's. We are on Lake Garda and these are the prices. Which in my opinion were absolutely not out of line. Maybe I would recommend the restaurant to also keep some wine in bulk. Otherwise excellent in everything.
