14/10/2025: Perfect evening! The ambiance perfectly matches the service and the food

07/10/2025: I would like to report an unpleasant incident that happened to me at Le Cedrare during a reception I was invited to in mid-September. The staff was informed in advance of my celiac dietary requirements, and, having already eaten very well at the restaurant on another occasion, I was very happy to return to that beautiful place. However, about an hour and a half to two hours after sampling the appetizers (the buffet was held in the garden, and I was served two separate dishes), I felt ill during dinner, evidently from something I had eaten during the appetizer. I went to the bathroom with cramps and diarrhea, and from there I decided to stop eating because of the cramps, which, in any case, lasted the entire evening. I discreetly informed the staff that something had bothered me. There was no concern for my health, nor was I asked if I needed anything. But at the end of the evening, a lady from the kitchen came to bring me gluten-free dessert, telling me she had personally taken care of all the gluten-free food, that in her opinion it was impossible for anything to have harmed me, and that if I was feeling ill, it was because I had eaten something I shouldn't have, something different from what had been brought to me. So, in addition to having my dinner and evening ruined, I was also arrogantly accused of guilt in front of other people and guests I didn't even know, as if my discomfort was due to some fault of my own. I had complied and limited myself to eating what was given to me, asking each time, just to be sure, if it was safe for me. At the time, I obviously replied that I never eat anything that's harmful to me, but I let it go, also because I wasn't in a position to argue. Two days later, I called the facility, and the same lady who had accused me of eating something I shouldn't have—and who didn't want to show up—answered. I would have liked clarification to understand what could have caused my illness (with celiac disease, even a small inadvertent contamination, a small error in service, something that goes wrong can make a difference, but you try to understand what happened before blaming the customer), but I encountered a wall, the same stubbornness in blaming me for what happened, with the justification that another celiac guest had had no problems (as if that means anything, given that not all celiacs have the same symptoms, and there's no way of knowing if the other person ate exactly what was brought to me at the buffet). At the end of the call, the lady, still in a disrespectful and rude tone, urged me to bring my own food next time to avoid problems. Let's just say I had different expectations regarding the way the staff at such a renowned restaurant would handle customer needs and complaints, but on a human level, my experience was truly negative, which weighs even more heavily than the damage to my health.

14/09/2025: Imagine a restaurant that serves basically nothing but pizza related items-and of course drinks! Amazing pizza and calzone. Was able to eat only about half but it was worth every bite. Yum. Mostly locals on a Sunday night so you know it's good.

06/09/2025: For me, the best pizza in Verona. A wide selection of flours and even gourmet options. The gluten-free pizza is also delicious, but not AIRC certified. Truly excellent.

22/10/2025: Wonderful place, the owner is very kind and gives you advice on the food, wonderful grilled meat, top-notch cheeses, never eaten so good, I recommend it, you won't regret it

28/09/2025: The service was excellent and very friendly. The food – fish, risotto, and tagliatelle – was very good, exceptional, and served on beautiful plates. The tiramisu was freshly made, and the paneer with fruit sauce was also homemade and delicious. Anyone who appreciates truly good food will enjoy their stay here. Unfortunately, we were only there on our last evening; otherwise, we would certainly have returned more often.

12/10/2025: I hate to leave negative reviews, but I had high expectations given the reviews and the price. We ordered two first courses completely devoid of salt, and my tagliolini were overcooked. I hope it was just a bad day. Credit to the waiter for trying to make up for it by offering two coffees.

10/10/2025: We had a fabulous meal here in this restaurant. Great choice. Lovely service and staff. We sat overlooking the piazza and it was enchanting. It's upstairs and we missed the entrance initially.

14/10/2025: I tried the pizza verace for dinner, and the result wasn't bad at all. The menu has a lot of variety, so I'd have to return several times to give a definitive opinion. Excellent service, with waiters who are very welcoming and attentive to customers.

10/10/2025: We came in for a pizza and were immediately greeted with a small, welcome appetizer. The young waiter tempted us with a selection of meat main courses, and, as they say, "I can resist everything except temptation." We ordered a mixed grill and a slice of beef. The meat was cooked to perfection, falling off the bone, and was a true delight, with just the right amount. However, our eyes wandered out of curiosity to the pizzas at other tables, and... it was spectacular. Definitely worth a try. [The one in the photo + water, medium beer, sorbet, coffee €51]

06/10/2025: Simple, fast, and efficient. The service was friendly, accommodating, and incredibly kind. Whether you're passing through Dossobuono or before a flight, this is the perfect place for a last Italian pizza with thin, crispy crust baked in a wood-fired oven. Unbeatable prices.

12/10/2025: The night of Zucchero's concert, we went to dinner at this restaurant. Honestly, the dishes we ordered weren't anything special. The outdoor location is in a small square, surrounded by doorways through which people come and go. I wouldn't go back.

26/09/2025: This restaurant is a must-recommend! The food is very good, the prices are really reasonable, and the view of Lake Garda is simply magnificent. If you want to eat here, you should pre-order, as it was very busy.

04/10/2025: A delightful discovery made somewhat by chance. Trusting the positive reviews, we went for lunch after booking online and found it to be a delightful place with fast, impeccable service, courtesy, and kindness. Finally, we ate wonderfully. The burgers were excellent, and the burger was delicious too. Top marks, I recommend it to everyone. If we return to the Children's Museum in Verona, we'll definitely be back. Thank you

02/10/2025: My boyfriend and I chose Special to celebrate his birthday and treat ourselves to a truly exquisite dinner. We had an appetizer, a first course, and a dessert, all accompanied by a glass of wine. We had a wonderful dinner (the gold cacio e pepe was truly exceptional 😍), the service was prompt, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate our requests. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back to try their drinks too!!
