28/02/2026: We went for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. From appetizer to dessert, everything was wonderfully delicious. The owner, his son Giacomo, is intelligent and affable, and the crown jewel of a staff of smart, kind, and knowledgeable people. The ground-floor manager (I hope you'll forgive me if I don't remember her name) is very talented and courteous.
In short, the place is superb. The food is superb, made with quality ingredients. And the Pazientina cake... absolutely not to be missed. Only here can you eat it this fabulous. I thank all the staff, and especially Giacomo, for a wonderful evening.
22/02/2026: Takeout pizza that doesn't deserve to be called pizza: thinly topped, cold, terrible dough.
Kebbabbaro is better.

One of the best seafood restaurants I've ever tried. Absolutely unmissable.
15/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with attentive and professional service. They pay attention to the quality of the fish. A wide selection of wines and spirits. I tasted an elegant, fruity Nikka Pure Malt Red, relatively rare and hard to find due to the shortages that have affected many Japanese producers. Then the owner had me taste his gin, a fitting end to the meal.

Fine dining with a young and competent team.
Romantic, comfortable, and a fantastic view of the vineyards.
The approach alone is worth a video. You drive right through the vineyards. Then, quite inconspicuously, this gem opens up behind ancient walls.

22/03/2026: The atmosphere is welcoming and quaint. Ample parking is available and easy to get to. The food is quality and the service is prompt. The waiters, though young, are very professional.
04/03/2026: This restaurant/pizzeria is out of the way; we wouldn't have found it without maps. We tried the pizza and liked it. There's a nice outdoor seating area, so we'll definitely be back in the summer. Reasonable prices.

19/03/2026: Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent service, but we found the final bill excessive. For two, we shared a starter, two main courses with sides, and a bottle of wine presented as a drinkable table wine. We ended up paying €100, even getting a small discount.
15/03/2026: I live in Verona and have been meaning to go to Posta Vecia for a few years. Finally, a good occasion: my birthday. It was packed on Sunday, but I made a reservation. The atmosphere: you have to like the style, and I appreciate it. The history and style that so much of the place's history has left on the walls are evident, and for me, it gives me a sense of tradition, good food, and homemade dishes. Michele and his family welcome you. Their TV appearance with Borghese didn't go overboard. In fact, in my opinion, they just keep their heads down and go do what they know how to do, and they do it really well.
I went there to eat the things I like, rustic and traditional. We had the main courses: rabbit, hare, and veal... Lots of stuff. Excellent flavor, generous portions. Good selection of wines. The side dishes served at the table are beautiful: delicate, well-cooked, and flavorful.
I love first courses and I assure you I would have ordered them all... I watched them pass by throughout lunch... plentiful, beautifully presented, fragrant... I'll be back and even ordering a second course!
The bill was adequate for the quality of the dishes.
I'm happy to go to a restaurant, especially if I know I'm eating well and I'm not going to save money. Quality comes at a price, and it's only fair and proper that it be so. Homemade pasta, roasts, the time it takes to prepare the ingredients, the hygiene standards, the management of a restaurant... It's expensive! Anyone who wants to eat a lot and spend little should go elsewhere.
Michele also took us on a walk around the estate.

13/07/2025: Sarà anche stata la fame bestiale, di ritorno da Piovene Rocchette, dove già avevo patito la sera precedente una penuria incredibile di locali aperti per sfamare il viandante ed avevo pure saltato la colazione la mattina dopo, insomma che entro nel locale accecato dal digiuno ed assetato come un cammello. Per fortuna le due giavani bariste mi accolgono con un sorriso e capiscono subito che posso diventare pericoloso per astinenza da cibo. Così mi assecondano nella scelta di un super panino rinforzato e di un mezzo litro di bianco della casa, bello fresco e con il potere di rimetterti in pace con il mondo. Ed in effetti, vicino a me, trovo due persone attempate che sembrano già da tempo in pace con il mondo, a giudicare dai calici di Rose' che mettono in fila sul tavolo. Fanno bene, ostie, questo è vivere. Quindi consumo il mio pranzo e mi rilasso, ammirando il locale, molto bello. Non so nemmeno dove sono perché a forza di girare per trovare qualcosa da mangiare alla fine mi ero perso. Pago un giusto prezzo e lo scontrino mi permette di ricollocarmi sullo scacchiere mondiale. Non sono lontano dalla meta , per fortuna e questo vagare nella periferia di Verona mi ha permesso di scoprire questo gioiello di locale, altrimenti inimmaginabile.
