21/07/2024: The lamb is excellent and the side dish is excellent

14/06/2024: After a warm welcome we sat down inside. Cozy and not overcrowded with tables. We had a delicious meal. Good red wine with tagliere with cheese/sausage plank with pieces of foccacia. The main course consisted of gnocchi with sausage, pieces of zucchini and zucchini flowers. Delicious!! And a pasta with lime and ricotta. Also delicious. It was very nice to see young people running this restaurant. Definitely recommended to go!!

14/08/2024: It's a beautiful place, everything is very nice and clean. History and culture reflect the owners, beauty is everywhere. Nature...has a life of its own. There is a wonderful view. Hills, vineyards, olive groves, bell towers and much more, with a beautiful light at any time, the moon rising through the trees, a sky full of stars and a wonderful silence. Mrs. Anna seems to perceive your desires even from afar and spoils you, but her collaborators are no less so. It's beautiful!!! Every meal is taken care of in detail, with local products of the highest quality and... excellent wines. There is still a lot to say, but to understand you have to go. My holiday ended today and I can say that the reality far exceeded even the best expectations. Thanks for everything and we'll see you again soon. Josephine

12/08/2024: Like dining at grandma's house 😍 wonderful service, thoughtful beyond belief, the food is spectacular, excellent truffles. Competent, polite, friendly and even affectionate, our children ate with gusto and in abundance! a heartfelt thank you to Marco, his wife (whose name unfortunately I don't know and I apologize) and to Sabrina...the most super waitress there is! Have a nice trip to Venice!

06/08/2024: Ci hanno proposto il piatto del giorno perche' si faceva prima (anche se non avevamo detto che andavamo di fretta) Abbiamo preso tre primi completamente scotti (sicuramente la pasta era precotta). A quel punto non mi sono fidata a prendere il secondo ed ho.chiesto una insalata; mi hanno portato una ciotola con insalata dura e verde ( quella che normalmente si scarta) senza pomodoro senza niente. Alla mensa dei poveri avrei mangiato meglio sicuramente.

02/07/2024: Siamo clienti dell'hotel ma non avevamo mai provato il ristorante. Che dire!? Bellissima scoperta: atmosfera piacevole, tavolo in giardino meraviglioso, menu degustazione buonissimo, servizio cordiale e gentile. Prezzi un poco alti per la zona ma giustificati in questo caso dalla ricercatezza della cucina. Torneremo ancora.

17/05/2024: Mio marito ed io abbiamo soggiornato per due notti nell'albergo nel cui contesto il ristorante è inserito. Dopo la prima cena non abbiamo neppure pensato di provare esperienze culinarie in altri locali, essendo lo Zafferano davvero carino, che ha ottime materie prime ben cucinate, buona lista dei vini e ottimo rapporto-qualità prezzo.

13/08/2024: If you're in the area, it's worth a stop here. Young, friendly and super efficient staff. Excellent and typical Umbrian food, genuine and made with love. Try the ricotta and sausage gnocchi with the addition of truffle. The soup and lentils are excellent. Very good price for what they offer. Definitely coming back!

31/08/2024: Both the place and the service are exquisite, not to mention the food, all the dishes we ordered were spectacular in flavor. The proximity product is noticeable. It's worth the price you pay. Try to arrive at sunset time, the views are beautiful.

20/08/2024: Tagliatelle e gnocchi industriali, molta panna nei primi piatti, tartufo senza sapore tanto da sospettare che non lo fosse... il secondo invece si difendeva abbastanza bene. Proprio niente di speciale, non riesco a capire le 4,5 stelle... Mi dispiace

08/08/2024: Beautiful farmhouse surrounded by greenery and with attention to every detail, a few kilometers from Assisi and Spello, a town that we really liked. The peace you breathe is truly something unique. The rooms are welcoming and have a splendid rustic style. Excellent breakfast with homemade and top quality food, served by very kind and professional staff. When there is passion in what you do the results can only be excellent!!

10/07/2024: Located in an excellent position on the hills in front of Foligno, among vineyards and olive groves. Fairly spacious rooms with equipped bathroom, shower, bidet, hairdryer. Restaurant available to guests upon reservation. The swimming pool and garden are a real plus. The owners are friendly and are available for any information.

26/08/2024: An amazing place 😍 We celebrated our wedding in this beautiful garden 🩷 Staff is wonderful💕 A place to absolutely visit, because it's worth it. Very welcoming. The atmosphere of celebration and antiquity in this house blend together. Thanks again.

24/08/2024: rustic environment, but still well kept and clean, bathroom really clean, congratulations! space food! the slipper, in defiance of etiquette, is more than a must because the dishes are fantastic and you don't want them to ever end! obviously you don't expect light, healthy food etc... I recommend you all my life the tripe (it was butter in your mouth), the pasta with goose sauce, the super crunchy and tasty baked potatoes (these were the only real flaw since, in my opinion, they had a pinch of salt extra). the trifle had a flavour, in my opinion, not very strong, as if the alchermes were too attenuated in flavour, but still excellently sweet. if you are passing through, stop, while if you are not passing through, stop here anyway. the place is on a small road, at the end of which there is a small place to park about 6-7 cars maximum.
