02/11/2025: It is very difficult to make a reservation if you are a foreigner. But I love the food there and every time I'm in Perugia I go for dinner. From the appetisers I loved the pate, from the second courses the rabbit was delicious. The red house wine was good.

27/10/2025: A delightful discovery in a corner of old Perugia, right behind the Morlacchi Theater. A place with meticulous attention to detail, a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere—not your average osteria, but a little gem. We ate for two; the staff was kind, courteous, and attentive. The menu was extensive, with generous portions and well-prepared dishes. The only flaw was perhaps too much oil in some dishes. All in all, a good restaurant where I think I'll return soon. Fairly priced.

08/04/2026: Dinner with friends. Very nice restaurant, with a very hospitable chef. Excellent quality ingredients, featuring Umbrian tradition as well as some successful reinterpretations. Reasonable prices. I didn't give it 5 stars because toward the end of the dinner, with two windows open and the front door open, we felt a bit chilly. Will we return? Definitely, but we'll ask—and it's our fault—to close the doors and windows in case of a chilly breeze.

05/04/2026: A small restaurant located in a charming village (reservations recommended). Cuisine strongly rooted in the local area. Handmade pasta with organic flours, including gluten-free pasta, always made by them in their own kitchen. Organically grown produce from local farms, free-range meats, and desserts made daily by the chef. We didn't know they'd offer gluten-free options; imagine the delight of ordering everything on the menu without gluten. Attentive, precise, and thoughtful service, sensitive to intolerances. For two people, a full menu (with truffles), side dishes, dessert wine, and coffee—does that seem like a lot? Considering the quality of the ingredients used, the service, and the attention we received, it's excellent. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: Welcoming atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, impeccable cuisine. We truly enjoyed our meal. We recommend the gnocchi, the tagliatelle with goose ragù, and the cheese and truffle fondue. The chicken fricò is exceptional.

17/12/2025: We went for lunch at the recommendation of friends who live in Spoleto. The place was crowded because it was a holiday, but Rita was attentive to all her guests' needs. The platter of cold cuts, cheeses, and bruschetta was truly delicious; the first and second courses were equally delicious! We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Umbria. Enjoy!

03/01/2026: How was the food? So bad that we went back two days in a row (the second day specifically). We were served excellently, with professionalism, courtesy, and that touch of friendliness that never hurts, in a lovely place, with a gorgeous dining room... so much so that my 4-year-old son Leo wanted to come back. The quality of the food... I hope calling it excellent isn't an understatement... the platter, mentioned by someone who can't remember the name, considered insufficient, was of excellent quality with genuine, traditional products at a fair price... not to mention the rest: pasta alla Norcina, eggplant parmigiana, gnocchi with wild boar, grandma's egg, and the tagliatelle with both ragù and mushrooms, which my son devoured. Not to mention the desserts... so if you have the courage not to call this a super excellent restaurant... I would recommend... McD.

02/01/2026: The typical dishes are all delicious, with just the right portions (not too much, not too little), and the atmosphere is rustic, romantic, and even intimate/cozy, and I'd say comfortable. Quick and friendly service, family-run, with not a single detail out of place, and attention to customer service, empathy, and a willingness to engage in conversation. The price is more than fair—in fact, I'd say convenient. I'm attaching the receipt so it's clear that this isn't just my perception, but the reality of the facts. The platter I've pictured was full of typical, strictly local products, carefully arranged, beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. We'll definitely be back, and I recommend booking because there are only a few seats (about 40, I'd say). Note for those with pets: I've noticed that dogs are welcome. Be careful, don't be put off by the negative reviews; they're all from years ago and certainly refer to previous management, given that the current one has been open for less than two years.

It has the true, authentic flavors of good Italian cuisine; the delicious taste lingered with us for hours, even after lunch😍 If you're in Perugia, I highly recommend eating at Cukuc! The staff is truly friendly and helpful.

06/04/2026: After a lovely trip to the city of Assi, we decided to have lunch just outside the center to enjoy the view and the tranquility. We couldn't have found a better place than this. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent, and having a 3-year-old, it couldn't have been better to find outdoor play equipment for him. Trampoline, swings, slide, slide. Everything was top-notch.

28/03/2026: When we wanted to eat dinner, they set us up at a table in the basement because the owner was there with his personal guests. We left without eating.

29/03/2026: The place doesn't look very inviting from the outside, but if you stop in you will be pleasantly disappointed. An exceptionally varied menu with surprisingly good dishes! We were met with first-class service and delicious food!

14/03/2026: The inside dining room is truly welcoming, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food is excellent—the shank is truly delicious, and the first course with truffles is excellent. We'll always return when we come to Tuoro.

18/03/2026: Found out of necessity, we were greeted by the owner with great kindness, and Mrs. Benedetta in the dining room assisted us with extreme professionalism and helpfulness, both in choosing dishes and offering advice for our next stay. The food was truly delicious: the tagliatelle were flawless, the Marchigiana tartare was flavorful and very balanced, and the tiramisu was exquisite. We can't wait to return to try the other numerous dishes on the menu and the wines. See you soon 🌈😊
