Dinner with friends. Very nice restaurant, with a very hospitable chef. Excellent quality ingredients, featuring Umbrian tradition as well as some successful reinterpretations. Reasonable prices. I didn't give it 5 stars because toward the end of the dinner, with two windows open and the front door open, we felt a bit chilly. Will we return? Definitely, but we'll ask—and it's our fault—to close the doors and windows in case of a chilly breeze.

A small restaurant located in a charming village (reservations recommended).
Cuisine strongly rooted in the local area. Handmade pasta with organic flours, including gluten-free pasta, always made by them in their own kitchen. Organically grown produce from local farms, free-range meats, and desserts made daily by the chef.
We didn't know they'd offer gluten-free options; imagine the delight of ordering everything on the menu without gluten.
Attentive, precise, and thoughtful service, sensitive to intolerances.
For two people, a full menu (with truffles), side dishes, dessert wine, and coffee—does that seem like a lot?
Considering the quality of the ingredients used, the service, and the attention we received, it's excellent.
Highly recommended.

We made an early reservation to accommodate our young child's schedule. The service and recommendations of the staff and the chef were excellent. The food was delicious and the kitchen made thoughtful accommodations for my vegetarian and food allergy spouse. Highly recommend!

One word: "wonderful."
1) Place and location
2) Ambience and host
3) Menu and flavors.
We'll definitely return in the summer when the restaurant moves outdoors into the narrow streets and alleys of the village.
P.S. 1. The pasta is all homemade, as they also have an artisanal pasta factory nearby.
P.S. 2. Ask host Diego for any information and you'll discover a whole new world of cuisine.

Excellent while the chef was on site; he's a warm and affable personality. He piqued your curiosity with his stories and recommended dishes, even adapting the menu to the special needs of some of our table.
As soon as he had to leave, however, the noise from the kitchen began to be annoying, and the staff even forgot our table's orders halfway through the meal, leaving you twiddling your thumbs for a bit and then asking if we wanted coffee 😂
Anyway, the food was very good; the cuisine is traditional with a twist, high-quality, and with bold flavors.
The only flaw: the desserts; the cheesecake was more like a panna cotta, and the others were also not bad, but unworthy of a dinner out.

Diego is the chef and he smashes this out the park. What a character . What a chef. Excpetional detail. Real care. Food is life in this restaurent. Seasonal and all local produce. Bedded inside a castle the picturesque location is as stunning as the food. Well worth ever calories gained.

A perfectly decent restaurant; the Patata Gourmet had promised more in the description, but turned out to be a creamy potato soup with a few bits of garnish. Personally, I found it a bit meager for €16. The Chianina in porchetta was okay, although I couldn't taste the beef. The house wine was very good.
