10/04/2026: I couldn't believe it: so close to the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi, just 50 meters away, there's such a beautiful structure. Evocative interiors with carved rock, a magnificent garden outside, and truly beautiful lava stone tables. Luckily, I took the advice: I came and had a truly wonderful meal.

The interior is also fantastic, with a charming and characterful dining room. The staff is truly helpful, and the food is delicious: it's definitely not a touristy place, despite the very reasonable prices. And it's worth noting: it's just 50 steps from the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi.

13/03/2026: We stayed one night and had dinner the evening of our arrival. We immediately felt at home. The dinner was excellent, with well-prepared dishes, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Thanks to Mr. Gianpiero for his kindness in welcoming us. We'll definitely be back.

22/03/2026: A place from another era. A dive into the past, where taverns and trattorias were just like that. The space is tiny, furnished with every antique, from paintings to televisions, and even sideboards. The cuisine is simple, rustic, and faithful to the place and the culinary traditions of the good old days. Michele is the real star of the show, and the atmosphere quickly becomes familiar and friendly, even with the customers at the tables next door. Reservations are essential, as tables are truly limited.

14/10/2025: Amazing restaurant placed at panicales Piazza. Menu and food was made and prepared in the little kitchen by the wife while the husband and daughter is walking around the restaurant making sure the guests are having an fantastic time. We have our boy (8 years) and they had a special Bambino dish - which was pasta - and they charged us 12€ for it. And he loved it. I have a soft spot for tiramisu - and Lilo Tatinis Tiramisu is amazing!

25/12/2025: Unfortunately my experience which took place on Christmas Day was negative, I must say that I had booked a month in advance and instead they had not marked the reservation by putting us in a room that was not heated by the sun, we ate with our coats there were 4 of us. The waiters who logically put their faces on it every time they came apologized so a 10 to them who are polite and good at their job but the organization leaves a lot to be desired, as for food I only liked the lasagna which was really good the presto did not satisfy me, you know it is a special day and it would be better to try on a quieter day. We will not return, the owner with whom we had the pleasure of speaking did not show up.

What can I say: you truly feel at home! The dishes are explained in great detail, as are the drinks, all in a friendly, informal atmosphere. Alessandra's touch in the kitchen is truly outstanding... Everything was excellent, with authentic, local, yet refined ingredients. What can I say? We'll definitely be back! The idea of ​​leaving a little poem on each diner's seat is a lovely one. Inside, it offers limited seating, a simple yet welcoming atmosphere, and the owners clearly and truly embrace their work with passion and, above all, love. Floyd is one of those businesses that deserves recognition: for their commitment to selecting locally sourced, top-quality, and seasonal ingredients; for their desire to perpetuate such an authentic vision in an increasingly less tangible world; for the poetry they bring to the table and their culinary preparations; for the music they carefully select to accompany their dishes. Because it's not enough to nourish the body; we must also remember to care for our souls. Dinner at Floyd was surprising. A menu with just a few dishes, but extremely carefully crafted and of the highest quality, a comprehensive choice even for those who choose to be vegetarian or vegan. The key ingredients in the dishes are refined yet simple, some even harking back to a long-forgotten ancient cuisine. These dishes are rarely found in mainstream restaurants, yet they embody so much of the local area and healthy eating. A special mention goes to the chocolate cake, which reminded me of the one my mom used to make, and which made me feel even more pampered and at home.

02/04/2026: The property is beautiful and surrounded by nature, the exclusive-use spa is very comfortable, the staff delightful, courteous, and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful, with homemade desserts, including gluten-free options. This is my second stay here and I'll definitely be back again!

27/03/2026: After a long time, we finally managed to stay in this little gem, a farmhouse not far from the lake shores where relaxation is the name of the game. Our room, the Byron, was delightful (except for the disturbing drape over the bed, which we highly recommend removing :). Comfortable bed, beautiful sheets, gorgeous floors, and a surprise on the ceiling... A few details are showing signs of age, but nothing major. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy the small but pleasant spa in private, along with a beautiful little indoor pool with a waterfall and whirlpool. The other spaces are also truly beautiful, like the room with the fireplace lit in the evenings and the restaurant, which we highly recommend (succulent freshly baked bread, even gluten-free!!!). Excellent breakfast, meticulous service. The outdoor spaces are also beautiful, and will surely be at their best in spring. We would love to return.

05/01/2026: We had dinner here with friends. The place and the food are certainly very well-curated. We tried everything from crostini to pasta dishes, main courses, and burgers. Everything was top-quality. I especially liked the kindness of the owner and the staff, as well as the attention to celiac disease. I highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: Yesterday, Sunday, around 3:00 PM, we were looking for a place that was open to eat and we came across this beautiful restaurant. A stunning veranda overlooking the center of Marsciano, with lots of plants and flowers on the walls. The waiter, despite the hour, welcomed us kindly. He served us a platter of cold cuts, warm bruschetta, and high-quality cheeses. Handmade tagliolini with white ragù and truffle shavings were a delicacy we will never forget. To finish, a sublime tiramisu by the glass. Such kindness and friendliness! Excellent quality/price ratio. We have saved it among our favorites, we want to return soon to discover the rest of the menu!

02/04/2026: We drove here from Gubbio for lunch. This was exactly what we were looking for. Exceptional local food, service which a home cooked rustic feel. The food was outstanding and the price was very reasonable, meat cheese tray, eggplant, beef liver pate’, three types of bread, tagliatelle with Ragu, white artichoke lasagna, bottle of water, liter of wine, deserts and espresso! 55 Euro!!!
