Inside you will find a large room furnished with care and also a garden for the warm season. The service is very effective and the staff are very friendly and discreet. The accurate description of the suggested wines was also greatly appreciated. In summary we were very satisfied with the quality of the dishes chosen.

11/05/2025: I returned to eat at this tractor after a few months. I ordered a tagliatelle with truffle and a scallop with porcini mushrooms. All very good. Well prepared and well seasoned. The friendly staff. The place was pleasant as usual. I had a really good time.

03/05/2025: We had a wonderful dinner at Lillo Tatini, a restaurant located in the small medieval town of Panicale. We stayed in Panicale for a couple of nights, and this restaurant was definitely one of the highlights. It’s a family-owned, Michelin-listed gem. Since the weather was perfect, we got to sit outside. The owner and his daughter greeted us with big smiles. He was an excellent storyteller and kindly took the time to explain the menu in detail. The name of the restaurant, Lillo Tatini, is the owner's nickname, given to him by his grandfather. His wife, who is also the chef, suggested naming the restaurant after it. How adorable is that? We were tempted by the set menu, but the à la carte options were so intriguing that we had to try a variety of different dishes. For starters, we had chicken liver served on top of delicious bread; two different kinds of liver, both incredibly flavorful. There was also a tripe special on the menu for the evening, and we couldn’t resist. It was so tender and tasty. I never knew tripe could be that soft and full of flavor. For pasta, we had homemade ravioli stuffed with quail eggs, sautéed with Cinta Senese bacon and special sheep ricotta from Norcia. Holy, so painfully delicious. We also had Paccheri from Gragnano with sausage, mushrooms, and cream, which was equally excellent. Both pasta dishes were absolutely delicious like an amazing Italian mom had cooked them just for us. For the main course, we had a whole pigeon “alla todina,” a traditional recipe with capers and olives, meant to be eaten with your hands. It was fun and incredibly tasty. We also tried baked Cinta Senese pork ribs with roasted potatoes. These French-influenced dishes were uniquely prepared and beautifully presented. As if we weren’t already full, we finished with a chocolate shortbread tart topped with salted caramel, chocolate ganache, and mango. It was divine. The dessert menu itself was printed using the same tools and techniques from the medieval era. So beautiful and fascinating. To top it all off, the chef came outside to say hello and ask about our experience. She was absolutely lovely, and we fell in love with the entire family. If you’re nearby, make time to visit Panicale and experience this incredible restaurant. You won’t regret it—I highly recommend it.

03/05/2025: We had the €80 per/person 25 year tasting menu and it was absolute perfection. 3 appetizers, 2 pastas, 1 main and a dessert (and a €40 red to compliment). Every dish was better than the last. Some of the best food I have ever had. Bianca's wine recommendation was gorgeous too. Thank you so much to everyone.

26/05/2025: È veramente il pranzo della domenica. Ri-vivi l’emozione culinaria che percepivi quando pranzavi dalla nonna la domenica. L’atmosfera sana che percepivi, i profumi, l’accoglienza che la nonna riusciva a darti in modo incondizionato. Ecco la descrizione visiva che posso darvi dopo aver pranzato al Monte Frumentario. Una ampia scelta di vini accompagneranno i piatti che vorrete gustare. Consiglio i ravioli ripieni di ricotta serviti con una salsa di pistacchio.

05/06/2025: We hadden een lekkere lunch in het recent geopend nieuwe restaurant La Terrazza in Castiglione del Lago. Wat een zalige culinaire beleving, met schitterend zicht op het Trasimeno meer. Proficiat aan Ricardo en zijn team! Perfecte bediening en overheerlijke vis- en vleesgerechten. We komen zeker terug!

05/06/2025: Ristorante La Terrazza is at the same place as the Café Latino before . But what a huge difference !! Completely and very stylish renovated , even for a a large interior , they looked at every detail for the placemats , cutlery , warm colours . But much more importantly : the food and the service . The food was absolutely great ! Fresh , large portions , very tasty prepared and served . Wether you order fish ( as I did , the grilled gamberi ) or meat or fish soup … very nice ! Prices are certainly not too high for a touristic environment Very correct . You will notice also quite some locals there for lunch or dinner . And the wine card : very large , much choice , local ( Trasimeno region and Umbrië ) but from all over Italy . It is an absolute add -on for Castiglione del Lago : high quality food and not ripp off prices for non - locals . Just go and experience for yourself ! And BTW : service was perfect , not had to ask twice or raise hands . Love it ! Thanks team La Terrazza ! 🙏

20/05/2025: Dinner. Too much waiting about 1 hour. Dishes served out of time. Pizza removed from the menu without warning. Staff running around the room ..... sign of bad organization. Good food, price not like a trattoria but a restaurant 35 euros for two dishes (appetizer or First/second course) anyway at the end of the evening everyone went home

01/06/2025: Beautiful location in the historic center of Montefalco, excellent food with a refined menu based on truffles, well-stocked cellar with more than 600 labels of wines available, excellent service, prices in line with the high quality of the raw materials

01/06/2025: Had lunch on a sunny Sunday... excellent service.. served by a guy whose name I unfortunately didn't ask but very nice and very good! Two top appetizers stracciata with truffle and potato casket. Highly recommended! Two equally good first courses and to finish the wine we ordered an exceptional fillet with truffle, accompanied by a fried potato cube (soft inside and crunchy on the outside) Room for dessert? Of course.. delicious! Price slightly above average but well deserved.. I would go back to eat there!

19/04/2025: Very nice and welcoming place! Fast service, helpful and kind waiters. Good food, very good cheese and pepper supplì, then I had handmade tagliatelle with bacon and artichokes which were very, very good, and simple kebabs. To finish, a berry cheesecake with sheep's ricotta, also very good, the only flaw was the cheesecake base was too sugary and sweet, annoying to chew! For the rest, congratulations!

03/05/2025: There were 8 of us and unfortunately we only ate there at the very end of our holiday, as it was by far the best meal we had in Italy. The service is also incredibly friendly, nice and helpful, the atmosphere is nice and relaxing and out of the 18 different dishes we ordered we weren't dissatisfied with a single one. Even the drinks were very tasty. You can't get enough of the food. Big praise to all the employees, it is absolutely recommended!
