02/12/2024: Op Tripadvisor werd dit restaurantje midden in Panicale goed beoordeeld en zeer aangeraden. We zijn hier 2 keer wezen eten en het was waanzinnig! Wat een mooie familie die met liefde en passie hun vak uitoefenen. Ook hebben we heerlijke wijn en olijfolie mee naar Nederland genomen.

30/03/2025: The appetizers were unique and good (including the quail eggs 😉). We ordered a trio of first courses (gnocchi Norcia, tagliatelle rosse al cinghiale e bianche al truffe), it's hard to decide which is the best! Courteous service, young and helpful guys. Highly recommended!

28/01/2025: Among the best typical trattorias in the area! Warm and welcoming location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent typical Umbrian cuisine. It was life for the first time, many will surely follow ☺️

09/03/2025: I've wanted to try this tavern for a long time (discovered for the "fior di cacio" festival. You arrive directly in the village, and next to it there is a large car park, very convenient to arrive. At the reception we were served by a very kind boy, explaining the products and their origin... the room is not very large, you have to book in advance, but we didn't book at the last minute and it went well because it wasn't very full. We tasted a small appetizer of the staff (excellent), strangozzi, courgette bacon and salted ricotta (good), a medium-cooked steak, tender and large portion, and sausage and lentil. We ended the meal with just one dessert, but there are many (wide choice), I chose ricotta (very good), honey and walnuts... to make the slipper. Fair score, we'll be back and I recommend it.

26/02/2025: I was on holiday with my partner and my family last weekend and we had dinner in this restaurant two evenings. I recommend it, the food is excellent, the staff and the environment are welcoming. It feels like home! Beautiful experience

01/03/2025: I was waiting for Google to prompt me to write the review on that one: IT IS A BOMB!!! 😍😍😍😍 We have been going to this amazing place since before it went through the recent refurbishment, which did not take away even a pinch of its previous charm but added kilos of class and sophistication, still leaving it though the most friendly and comfortable place to be. Let me tell you about the waiters first and their spoken menu; I listen to them like I was 6 years old listening to my parents reading me a fairytale. The staff is so skilled and so well trained, you start feeling enchanted the moment they open their mouth to recite the menu, and you’re salivating profusely by the time they finish. I adore the experience. And they are fluent in many languages so you can have your fairytale recited in the language you’re comfortable with. You sit by the glorious 200 years old open, stone fireplace and the smells from the kitchen creates a background to the waiter’s tales. But then there’s food…. I have had a privilege to work in high end hospitality in London for over 15 years and eat in the most fabulous places, Michelin rated or just simply good. But I tell you; a better thing than slow over night roasted pork belly here I have never eaten A NY WHERE. I dream about it, how it melts and falls apart, complimented by the silkiest mashed potatoes ever. All food is sourced locally, so is the delicious wine, and as an addition, in the summer, you eat at the terrace surrounded not only by breathtaking views but by chickens and peacocks who come to say hello. I love this place dearly and I wish them every success :) oh, and I don’t have pictures from there as I’m so preoccupied with food I forget about my phone!!!

26/03/2025: Very good value for money. The noise of slamming doors (guests and staff) is the only downside to the stay.

17/03/2025: We stayed on Valentine's Day evening with my partner.. LOVELY place.. the dinner was delicious even though the evening was obviously crowded!!.. We slept in the largest suite of the hotel.. WONDER OF WONDERS.. spotlessly clean.. very spacious and with all the requirements for a spa suite. I hope to be able to return soon!!!

01/01/2025: Per la cena di capodanno in sei amici abbiamo mangiato in questo ristorante. Non ci sono parole per descrivere la bontà del cibo e come ci presentavano i piatti. Tutto al di sopra di ogni aspettativa. Complimenti per la location e per il cibo ottimo. Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima serata che ricorderemo. Grazie a tutto lo staff dagli ospiti di Venezia.

09/03/2025: Siamo tornati dopo tre anni e abbiamo ritrovato la stessa cortesia, lo stesso piacevole ambiente, gli stessi buonissimi piatti, anzi, ancora più buoni. Complimenti! Ottimo l’uovo con fonduta, il riso croccante, gli strangozzi. Il medaglione di cannellini e scamorza affumicata top… e poi la creme brûlé agli agrumi e il tortino di pistacchio. Insomma che dire.. una gita fuori porta perfetta!!!!
