07/02/2024: Tried it in the summer. We conclude our food and wine journey in the wonderful Umbria with a pearl and with what turned out to be the best restaurant of these 2 weeks. The Cellar is a truly beautiful place, it seems to be carved into the rock, but you can also dine, as we did, in the beautiful outdoor garden. As the name suggests, the underground cellars, in addition to being truly beautiful places worthy of a visit, are also the protagonists of what is a very respectable wine list, with proposals that range across our wine offering. We had dinner with a Sagrantino from a rather new producer in the rich Umbrian panorama, Tenuta Bellafonte and their Collenottolo 2010 was truly fantastic! The dinner began with their kindly offered entrée based on tomato soup with various small pizzas (with Cannara onions and coppa), which was very welcome. Our choice went for an egg on potato cream, foie gras and black summer truffle. The dish was delicious: an exceptional balance of aromas and flavors. We then shared another appetizer because their offer of cold cuts was really too tempting and so we opted for a trio of excellent cold cuts, consisting of: patanegra joselito cut with a knife, sublime! wild pork ham aged for 6 years and speck from Val d'Ultimo Enrich Poder (from Trentino). The dish was accompanied by oven-baked goat's ricotta with truffles. Also in this case the unanimous comment was totally positive. Finally, I had an exquisite Chianina tartare with truffle, while my partner chose an excellent dish of truffle tagliolini with duck ragout. The dinner ended with some creme brulè for me and a tiramisu for her. Both dishes convinced us. The service was impeccable, helpful and professional. The chef stopped by our table several times to explain the dishes and give us advice, all in a very discreet way. In short, the place is highly recommended and the detour to the beautiful village of Cerreto di Spoleto is an absolute must.

02/04/2024: Excellent. Visiting Fornovo di Taro, Casola, where my father and Terenzo were born, we had lunch at the Cattani Restaurant, we ate excellent quality ham and not to mention the bread and the friendliness with which we were welcomed

31/03/2024: For us it is our 2nd home, motorbike enthusiasts and then living in the province of Parma every weekend good weather permitting we are always there. The staff is very kind and also an excellent place for refreshment and a short break... I recommend it

02/04/2024: We went for Easter lunch. Very bad experience. Quality of food and wine not adequate compared to the price (45 euros). "Smart" owners who tried right up to the last minute to charge me for 2 fixed menus even for my 3 and 5 year old children, despite having confirmed to me on the phone that they were excluded from the fixed menu and that they could order a la carte. Among other things, I had to insist on having him prepare a simple pasta sauce...

13/02/2024: Classica trattoria in aperta campagna con tavoli di legno e tovaglie a scacchi. cucina tradizionale parmigiana, ma il piatto che l'ha resa famosa nel circondario sono le rane. attenzione alle porzioni quando ordinate perché sono molto abbondanti (poi dovete farvi fare il cartoccino da portare a casa). Ampio parcheggio. Stessa gestione dagli anni settanta del secolo scorso. rapporto qualità prezzo decisamente buono.

02/02/2024: Strangozzi al tartufo salatissimi, bistecca di maiale ricoperta solo di granelli di sale, bistecca di vitella dura e piena di sale, cicoria saporita. E pure il conto troppo salato!!! A mai più. E quando passate per Borgo Cerreto, passate oltre
