20/10/2025: Our wine tasting with Beatrice and Stefano was extraordinary. Even though we were at our friends home, they thought about every detail. Beautiful glasses (scarily fragile!!!!!!). homemade antipasti ( delicious) and table settings. They are incredibly knowledgable, passionate and engaging. More enjoyable, because not so much a presentation, more a personal conversation. which never felt rushed, no matter how basic our questions were. Every question was welcomed with enthusiasm and depth. Their wine selection showcased their passion for the wines of the Val D´Orcia. We were truly left with a feeling of genuine warmth and desire to inform. Cannot recommend highly enough. We had the best evening. Thank you. Paul and Carlos

08/10/2025: Private wine tasting We asked Beatrice and Stefano to present a wine tasting at our villa when we were with our friends. Wow, what an evening we had with them, they were charming, entertaining and ever so knowledgeable, in fact Beatrice explained that she was a fully qualified sommelier! They came with a very interesting selection of wines and homemade focaccia, sliced meats and cheeses and even their own glasses. They talked about each wine informatively but without technical language, we learned so much about winemaking in this corner of Tuscany. We would recommend this private wine tasting to anyone who has even a passing interest in wine. For the fee, this evening was incredible value, they surpassed all our expectations and this was certainly the highlight of our week.

12/12/2025: The opening hours are misleading, they dont serve any food after 22pm, extremely far and high from the town's entrance. We clime all the way up there for nothing.

12/10/2025: We ate there on a Friday in mid-October: AWESOME! When booking, they were careful to inform us that they don't serve cooked meat, but rather tartare and carpaccio, but that's exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant is next to their butcher shop, and that should be enough to understand the passion they put into it, in addition to the very inviting photos on the website. We gave the host carte blanche, and he amazed us with a series of platters with ever-changing flavors, all delicious! It was impossible not to ask for seconds! Everything was so good that we ate until we couldn't stomach it. After all, it's a one-of-a-kind place, and it's not every day that you get such a wide selection. The wine selection was also reasonably priced. My only regret is not living nearby so I could repeat the experience more often!

11/10/2025: Discovered purely by chance, it was the best discovery a raw meat lover could make. Everything was so good we got carried away. The carpaccios were all amazing, especially the one with the scallop, and the tartares were all different, each with their own unique flavors. Truly, everything was amazing and delicious! The place is very cute, and the owner and waiter are very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended... and if I'm back in the area, I'll definitely be back!

31/01/2026: Maybe it was just an unlucky batch, but our pizza was absolutely unsatisfactory, it was a pita and not a pizza: dense, dry and completely tasteless. The quality of the tomato and mozzarella was also low. The location is nice though.

10/01/2026: This place never disappoints, both in terms of cuisine and hospitality. The seafood dishes are expertly prepared, the food is good and delicious, and the wine selection is excellent. But what's most impressive is how each guest is treated individually, as if they were unique, thanks to the constant, yet never intrusive, presence of the hostess and the wait staff. Thanks to Chef Lello, who is excellent, and who carefully selected the waiter. I unfortunately don't remember his name, but I thank him for his attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness. See you soon.

13/12/2025: Bar-restaurant, as the name suggests. Clean place, good food. Fast service but excellent quality. Great prices. Friendly staff. I recommend it.

09/12/2025: I had breakfast there and a pizza there in the evening. It has a magnificent view of the Montalcino valley; otherwise, the place has simple, very spartan decor, but its true value lies in being a meeting place for the locals, the real ones. The croissants are average, but that's something it shares with other bars in town. The pizza is very good. The service is courteous, and the quality/price ratio is good.

28/12/2025: I dined at this restaurant and the experience was truly five-star. It's a very beautiful place in the heart of San Gimignano. I ate very well; from appetizers to desserts, there were many interesting dishes. The service was excellent; the waiter treated us very well. The bill was in line with the price. Honorable mention for the very well-curated and extensive wine list.

08/12/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere and excellent lunch.

08/01/2026: We stayed at the hotel next door and had dinner here. The place was very beautiful and well-appointed, with friendly and knowledgeable staff. I broke a glass as soon as I arrived, but they were very kind in fixing it right away. My son's pasta with ragù was excellent, the tagliolini alla Pescatoria was very good, as were the cold cuts. Perhaps only the liver pâté was a bit "no." I had fried lamb chops, perhaps a little too breaded, but good! My cuttlefish and artichoke salad was excellent, and the tiramisu was perhaps one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommended restaurant, everything was really good. The bill was also reasonable.

06/01/2026: I had a wonderful time at this restaurant, thanks in particular to the lovely Klerjan, who handled my requests with great care. I had the buffalo mozzarella pizza, which was truly exceptional!

31/01/2026: Trattoria in the forecourt of a service station on the Siena-Bettolle ring road. Huge parking lot with lots of trucks. Local cuisine, very well prepared. Plenty of space inside, with well-spaced tables. The dining room staff is young and friendly. I suspect there's a mother or grandmother in the kitchen, though, because the dishes are truly traditional. Paper placemats are typical for lunchtime, but the prices aren't high. Well done.

27/12/2025: I stopped here after stopping to refuel the car, we sat down and they listed the menu, they brought us an appetizer that we split in two with a polenta, a slice of bread with some sort of truffle cream on top and the other slice of bread I don't remember what with, my brother had tortellini in capon broth and fettuccine with duck sauce which then turned into pappardelle, the pasta could be counted for how little it was the plate was just full of meat. I strongly advise against going to eat at this place, we paid 50 euros for everything these things I ate seems excessive to me.

15/12/2025: Three friends, highly recommended. The food was excellent, everything strictly Tuscan. Appetizer: Grandma's meatballs in tomato sauce with grain and cereal focaccia, Tuscan legume soup, mixed grill with potatoes, an excellent bottle of red wine, and some bitters. We left feeling really full.

18/10/2025: Wonderful pizza and cantucci. Was made to feel very welcome by the father and son working there. One of the best experiences I've had eating at a restaurant in Italy - which is saying a lot! G'day from Tim from Australia.

25/11/2025: An unforgettable dinner. Excellent food quality and preparation, interesting and balanced combinations of ingredients, and a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Prices are reasonable considering the quality offered. Service is informal but attentive.

23/11/2025: The restaurant is located near San Gimignano. Gourmet cuisine created with Tuscan influences. We can prepare simple dishes for small children, such as short pasta in white sauce, with tomato sauce, or with ragù. Clean and spacious environment.
