23/03/2025: Finalmente il Ristorante è tornato alla precedente Gestione e sin da subito si è notata la differenza: -prodotti di qualità -piatti ottimi -servizio cortese -pizza buona (anche se in precedenza veniva usato il forno a legna e la pizza era ancora più buona... Valutare se possibile tornare al precedente forno al legna) Un consiglio... rivedere un po' i prezzi perché, nostro parere, sono un po' altini

18/05/2025: We were here in 4, motorcyclists from various parts of Italy on a quiet evening, even though it was 9.30 pm and many restaurants did not let us eat here we not only fed ourselves but had fun and learned about culture, the owner is one of the few restaurateurs who still today embraces classic catering where at the table you enjoy flavors and sharing. There are fewer and fewer places like this, thanks again for the splendid evening. Regarding the food, impeccable, the superb wine recommended with great experience. A great surprise also the bill, more than honest.

03/06/2025: Impeccable welcome and service. Excellent wine advice. A magnificent view of Siena. The lunch menu selection was limited, but the quality was not. The truffle is almost a seasoning without overpowering the rest of the quality ingredients. A must-try.

24/05/2025: For once a good choice. Reasonable menu with reasonable prices. It is not always clear what you get. The soup, for example, was not soup at all, but a kind of stew with all sorts of things. I would certainly not order that again. Some menu choices are therefore difficult to interpret. The food (pasta, meat, plate with meat and sausage types, potatoes and salad) was otherwise reasonable to good. The service is friendly. It was reasonably busy. The interior is not very special.

22/06/2024: I visited this restaurant 2 years ago and I was so amazed that I still talk about it and place it among the best places I've ever eaten. And in fact after two years, I find myself reviewing it. The cooked dishes were exceptional both in terms of plating and flavor. The raw materials were of extraordinary quality. The service was very attentive and Alessandro, the host, welcomed and pampered us as if we were at home. If I'm not mistaken it had only recently opened, there were very few reviews and I think Alessandro himself confirmed it... it was a great discovery. I hope to return to Chianciano soon to return to this place!

05/05/2025: I prodotti sono di una qualità incredibile. La cura con cui il titolare prepara schiacciate e salumi fa capire l'amore per il suo lavoro inoltre con la sua simpatia ti fa davvero venir voglia di rimanere lì per ore. Vernaccia davvero buono. Super consigliato, prezzi nella norma.

02/05/2025: Tuvimos un gran tiempo aquí. La comida es excelente, vino también. Probamos 3 tipos de sándwiches, la mejor parte fue miel con tartuffo que puedes comprar para casa. Deberías venir aquí si visitas San Gimignano.

06/05/2025: Almorzamos aquí con algunos colegas de negocios. El restaurante es parte de un bloque anónimo y moderno, que tal vez no es mucho para mirar desde la carretera, pero cuando entras en él te das cuenta rápidamente de que este es un lugar que se toma en serio el vino y la comida. Una experiencia maravillosa - gran servicio, buena comida. La carbonara, como británica gastronómicamente enferma, fue alucinante.

16/02/2025: Very beautiful structure, renovated and equipped with every comfort. We stayed one night in an apartment with sauna and hydromassage, tastefully furnished and well heated. Friendly and readily available staff. The only flaw is the lack of napkins or placemats for any meals. For the rest really excellent value for money!

19/05/2025: È la prima volta che visitavamo Rapolano quindi la nostra scelta si è basata su la posizione del locale (piazzetta molto carina) il menù esposto ed il fatto che potevamo andarci a piedi. Il locale è carino ed accogliente, il personale si è dimostrato molto gentile. Il menù comprende antipasti, primi, secondi e (perdonatemi se dirò delle imprecisioni) una pagina di frittini come quello preso come antipasto dalla mia compagna, una pastella leggera e non unta ripiena nel suo caso di mozzarella e fiori di zucca. Io come antipasto ho scelto un carpaccio su letto di rucola e sebbene la quantità di carne fosse più che abbondante per un antipasto e di ottima qualità, ho trovato singolare che non fosse minimamente condita, di solito qualche goccia d’olio e/o aceto balsamico ci sta al di la del fatto che uno possa condirsela da solo. Mio figlio ha invece mangiato i pici al ragù che non dico fossero cattivi ma niente di speciale sia per il ragù poco saporito che per i pici con un leggero retrogusto di “legno” (scusate ma non so in che altro modo descriverlo) Come secondo abbiamo preso due cose simili, spiedino di carne mista arrosto e coniglio arrosto che erano anche i meno cari in menù (15 euro); il primo l’ho trovato molto normale, il secondo poco saporito tanto che sembrava quasi lessato ma un pezzo internamente ho riscontrato che non era ben cotto infatti era rosato. Una bottiglia di Bolgheri e due amari hanno fatto sì che il conto fosse 105 euro che, secondo me, non è correttissimo per la qualità del cibo o meglio per la sua “valorizzazione”

04/05/2025: Trattoria simpatica, dove si mangia nella tradizione: fegatelli, ossobuco, pici e pure una leccornia come la trippa fritta. Il gestore è simpatico; il prezzo è giusto. Alla prossima, la prossima volta a Siena.

07/05/2025: Wollten zunächst an der Theke einen Kaffee und Capuccino bestellen, um dann aus dem lecker aussehenden Köstlichkeiten auszuwählen. Die Dame an der Kaffeemaschine - vermulich die Senior Chefin- verweigerte jedoch die Bestellung mit der Aussage: "Nur mit Essen." Das ganze in einem Ton, dass wir uns umgedreht haben und gegangen sind. --- Die sind schon reich. Die brauchen unsere Bestellung nicht und auch Freundlichkeit ist hier Luxus. - Also ein Grund, sich den Besuch dort zu überlegen. Es gibt noch andere Läden.

04/05/2025: We were in San Gimignano on May 2nd. We were looking for a place to drink a glass of wine and eat something. We stopped here, attracted by the fact that local kids were sitting at a table, a guarantee of a place that was not purely touristy. In fact it was a very welcome surprise!!! Excellent wine, delicious food and warm welcome. Compliments!!!
