02/05/2025: We had a wonderful 3 night/4 day stay. The location is incredible- very scenic, quiet yet close enough to Siena to easily walk or drive into town. We did the cooking lesson and the wine tasting (not at the same time although we drank plenty of wine during the cooking lesson…). Both were exceptional. The staff was awesome. Highly recommend - especially if you enjoy wine and beautiful views.

25/04/2025: Our stay was amazing, couldn’t be more beautiful. The place is gorgeous , peaceful, and includes amenities for all the family. Bernardo in the front office, was very welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant. The breakfast was also really good and convenient. The rooms very spacious, cleaned and had beautiful views. We would definitely come back.

13/05/2025: Very pleasant discovery, very good starters and different from the usual ones, very good steak, Chianti Gallo Nero, more than honest prices, friendly and polite owner and staff, highly recommended

07/04/2025: Delicious pizza, friendly service and a generous glass of wine. Visited again the next day, warm welcome. It is possible to get menu items that are not on the menu. It was delicious and this restaurant is highly recommended.

24/05/2025: Pranzo con i cugini in questo locale sabato 24 Maggio ; locale pieno per un “novantesimo” più altri tavoli e quindi molto ‘rumoroso ‘ . Però arrivati i pici al ragù di chianina tutto è passato in secondo ordine: pici da urlo , porzione decisamente abbondante e super conditi di ragù. Di secondo una tagliata molto tenera e saporita ( magari un po’ piccola ) e patate fritte. Tiramisù deludente , poco inzuppato e crema ‘ piatta ‘ . Caffè molto buono . Servizio in sala e in cucina molto efficiente, tre camerieri per un centinaio di persone molto svegli e gentili . Conto onesto , ;0 euro a persona . Ottimo per gustare specialità della zona

18/05/2025: We came at the recommendation from our host, a nearby agriturismo. Really good food, kind servers, fast and good prices for the quality. Children friendly and a playground outside Visit this restaurant, you won't be sorry.

04/05/2025: Quality raw materials, excellent cured meats and cheeses, good house wine and even the Tuscan crostoni are of high quality. A little expensive. The service and cleanliness can be improved, but in the context it can be overlooked.

02/05/2025: This place makes you feel at home in a city that isn't yours... found it by chance... The idea was to get a focaccia but the rude, playful and friendly welcome from Enzo and his wife made us change our mind and we sat down... I've only eaten a platter like this a few times... The quality and quantity of the stuff exceeded expectations... But what makes this place unique are the owners of the house, like a Sunday with the family... Enzo makes you laugh out loud from a small window that connects the kitchen to the living room, his wife (alas, I don't remember her name) is very sweet.... And we were also moved by their story... I highly recommend you stop here either sitting down or taking away... because a laugh, a chat with Enzo and his wife will give you a beautiful memory of Pienza... as well as having enjoyed excellent food. 09/05/2025: We were the only clients in the restaurant so it was quiet and the only sound from the kitchen was… microwave. And it tasted as microwave food… misleading high rate in google this time… coperto 2 eur per person and not even olive oil was served to pizza… avoid this place.

24/04/2025: Everything was impeccable, from the food to the accommodation! Everyone was very kind. The room was spacious, clean and warm.

18/04/2025: We stayed at the Fabbrini hotel, a stone's throw from the characteristic historic center of the town, for the wedding party. The room was modern, warm and very welcoming. The aesthetics of the bathroom are delightful. Extremely helpful and multilingual staff - they helped us with everything and made the event seem simple to execute despite the obvious complexities. In fact, there were guests from various parts of the world who had to be coordinated. After months, if you talk to them, what do they remind you of the hotel? His kitchen. And I believe it! Without a doubt the jewel in the crown of the structure, from breakfast to meals, it dispenses all the typical delicacies of the Tuscan tradition. The truth is that he is capable of delighting you even with the simplest dishes: from Brazil to Italy and Spain, guests still want that midnight spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli which will probably be the best of their entire life.

21/05/2025: My girlfriend and I ate here not long ago. I know the place well (which never disappoints), while for her it was the first visit. The welcome was stellar, the environment is very well-kept and the waiter Emilio was very competent, professional and attentive to satisfy our every need. The menu is innovative and full of options for all tastes, the dishes certainly differ from the classic and repetitive culinary proposals of the area. The dishes we chose were exquisite and of excellent quality. The wine was sublime. We really appreciated the fact that the chef Maurizio came personally to make sure that we liked the dinner. We will definitely be back! A sincere thank you to all the staff, keep it up!

19/05/2025: Found by chance on my tour of the villages of Tuscany. A very pleasant discovery. In this place I ate one of the best tagliata I have ever tasted. Truly an experience to repeat. Truly impeccable service. Kindness and cordiality

01/06/2025: By bike from Volterra to Montevarchi we stop in Castellina and looking for a restaurant and here we are at Fondaccio. We have the bikes and Mauro, the owner, has them stored inside with the possibility of recharging. For lunch, since we are from Trentino, we eat pici all'aglione and with cacio e pepe. A good beer and coffee with cantucci. A treat, since we were halfway. Thanks Mauro and thanks to all your kind and professional staff.

28/05/2025: I had a very good pizza Chinatigiana – great crust and excellent toppings. Attentive service, but not intrusive. A nice place that's not just for tourists.

29/04/2025: Vintage place, with very attentive and kind staff without being intrusive. The vegetable pie and the pizza are excellent, large and tasty. Try the Chianciano cake, a local specialty: sponge cake soaked in almond liqueur and custard.

28/02/2025: È la seconda volta che vengo in questo.locale e anche questa sera abbiamo mangiato un'ottima pizza, sottile e croccante proprio come piace a me, ed un'altrettanto ottima birra alla spina. Buoni anche i dolci, crema catalana e mille foglie alla crema con gocce di cioccolato. Prezzi buoni La prossima volta proveremo il pesce che da quanto abbiamo potuto vedere intorno deve essere molto buono.
