04/01/2026: The staff were friendly and welcoming, the owner was very kind and efficient, and the service was fast and friendly. The hotel room was clean and tidy.

19/12/2025: I stayed here for a week to explore the area. I was the only tourist in December, so it was wonderfully quiet. The staff is very courteous and welcoming, the rooms are simple but spacious and cleaned daily. I had a room facing the courtyard, so it was quiet upon arrival, even though the hotel is right on the main road. There is free parking at the hotel, and a bank, a pharmacy, and a small supermarket are within walking distance.

01/01/2026: Fantastic experience! Small, welcoming place, the owner Marcello seems like a typical old-fashioned host. We had fabulous homemade pici with wild boar ragù and a fantastic Florentine steak, 10 out of 10!!! The ricotta tart was also excellent. Highly recommended!

02/01/2026: An excellent hotel for a peaceful and relaxing night, ready to visit the nearby Cathedral of San Galgano (or what remains of it after its demolition). The agriturismo is a true oasis of peace surrounded by nature, well-maintained and clean, excellently organized, and with professional reception staff available to answer any questions or requests. The rooms are well-soundproofed and heated. The beds are comfortable, though not particularly large, and the bathrooms are well-equipped. I found nothing to complain about in the accommodation... everything was fine. The breakfast and Wi-Fi were also good.

25/12/2025: Modest food, reasonable prices. The staff was a bit inexperienced and sloppy; when I asked about the contents of the recipes, they couldn't even give me an answer about the ingredients. Not knowing what you're serving is unacceptable. At one point, I dropped a silverware and the waiter took over 10 minutes to arrive with a replacement. I had already stolen one from another table. The same thing happened with the bottle of water, which ran out after a quarter of an hour.

08/11/2025: Amazing place, absolutely recommended. Pure local vibe, great wine and beer, and of course amazing food. I had a Zuppa di Funghi and Pici Ragu Cinghiale, which both were fabulous. The owner was very pleasant as well. As a bonus, one can visit the local Bagni San Filippo before the dinner. Thank you!

11/05/2025: Creo que este lugar era el único restaurante abierto el domingo a las 11 am, tal vez antes. La web dice abierto a las 6 am. Los otros restaurantes de la ciudad dijeron que estaban abiertos en Google, pero no lo estaban. Orden de los bocadillos mostrados. Usualmente justo, barato, chica de mostrador hablaba bastante buen inglés y era amable y paciente. Comer dentro y fuera. Lo recomendaría.

05/10/2025: The bar was open all night, very well stocked with both sweet and savory options, everything delicious. The best thing, however, was the kindness and courtesy we found. We were having trouble with the car, and they managed to give us a big hand even though it was Sunday. It truly was an oasis in the desert. Thank you so much ❤️

08/02/2026: Magnificent! It's a 1861 villa, very tastefully refurbished in c. 2023 into a chic hotel. We were 2 adults and 2 small children. Loved our stay there, and the cons noted below are very minor. Beautiful place! PROS + Location. It's only 20min away from Alagna, and there are circa 15 parking spaces at the entrance to the Villa. + Standard of finishes and the interior decor. This place just looks amazing. It's superbly renovated and very tastefully decorated. + Well equipped. Couldn't really ask for more. (Maybe bigger mugs would be nice to have some tea) + Warm inside. We were here in the winter, it was -5 outside, and 22 inside. + The children playroom - great feature. Most of toys are for children aged 1 to 5, which suited us perfectly. + The library / reading room. Two standing shelves full of books, an eclectic selection of everything. 90% of books in Italian, with some 5 volumes in English and the rest in German. + Quiet. Even though our room was facing the main road, there wasn't any traffic during the night that might bring any noise. + Gigantic super-king size bed, double-sized sleeping sofa, and a sitting sofa in the kitchen. + Lift providing access to all floors. + Amazing panoramic view from our apartment, overlooking the road below, and the mountains all around. CONS - We couldn't give our kids a bath, as the shower didn't have a hand-held shower head, only the high level one. We were there only for 3 nights so it wasn't the end of the world though. - Just barely enough supplies, with no kitchen paper towels, just one washing machine tablet. - Not entirely child-proof. Historical chest of drawers beneath the windows are surely gorgeous, but our kids kept on crawling onto them and tried to open the windows. - Difficult and steep entrance road from the main road.

17/09/2025: I stayed in this villa in the early 1960s, during the summer when it was a summer camp for children from the Biella area. I only have a few very pleasant memories, both of the structure and of the walks in the surrounding area. And also of the delicious baked stuffed onions they sometimes served with meals.

18/02/2026: I had dinner on Valentine's Day with my partner in an elegant atmosphere. The fixed menu dinner was all seafood, superb! Excellent food, beautifully presented! Everything was top-quality from start to finish, including a digestif. The competent and friendly staff pampered us throughout the dinner. A truly beautiful evening, accompanied by an unexpected gift: a delicious plant from the restaurant, which is not a given. We will definitely be back. Superb!!!
