16/01/2026: Excellent little bar, very cozy, staff were really kind. We stopped in to get some coffee and use the bathroom. Bathrooms were very nice, clean, and well stocked. Outdoor seating was comfortable and had nice fairy lights that set the ambiance. Highly recommend.

20/12/2025: We were traveling to Veneto and decided to stop for lunch. We found this restaurant right away at the highway exit. We had a Tuscan appetizer and a Florentine steak. Excellent, everything was delicious and high-quality.
Ciro gave us really good advice, and his helpfulness and friendliness made everything very pleasant.
The place is a little dated but very clean, and the location is excellent. I highly recommend it!

07/12/2025: The hotel is close to the highway toll booth, making it convenient for those who need to stay overnight and continue their journey the next day. The hotel is not new, but it's spacious and also features a wellness center and a swimming pool, which we didn't use. The breakfast was decent, with good-quality cured meats. There's ample unattended parking, and the paid garage is a bit pricey.

01/06/2025: It would take very few words to define this pastry shop as one of the best in the area. Cakes that are not only beautiful in their decorations, but of an extreme, excellent goodness.

Highly recommended, but not only for the cakes, for the assortment of pastries, savory and pleasant aperitifs.
A very small defect, improve the kindness of the female staff.

26/09/2025: The gelato masterclass with Nicola was very interesting. We made our own gelato from peach to sorbet and it was just delicious! Our daughter was never into vanilla ice cream, yet the vanilla gelato we made here, she loooved.
Nicola and his team only use highest quality products, and that is something you taste. The pistachio was the best I ever ate. The one with caramel was so good. The chocolate very deep and intense (yet I learned not to stick to my fave chocolate all the time because there is really a whole world of splendid tastes they make 😋). Gracie mille!

03/02/2026: We had this gem close to home and didn't know it! The restaurant is housed in a charming historic building. More precisely, in what were once the stables of the hunting lodge of Leopold II, the Grand Duke of Tuscany. Everything was excellent, from the ambiance, to the welcome, to the food, to the wine 🍷... We recommend it. We'll definitely be back...
27/12/2025: A refined and distinctive restaurant nestled in the Tuscan countryside within the ancient Grand Ducal stables in Dolciano, just minutes from Chiusi. The ambiance is charming and refined, with rustic and elegant details that create a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for special lunches or dinners.

The menu is very interesting, they do plenty of amazing dishes as well as great pizza.

16/11/2025: We were welcomed by the owners, and even though they didn't serve food (during the winter months), we still drank excellent wine and had a few snacks. The book selection was also excellent, and we came home with a good book and a great desire to return in the summer!
21/10/2025: The best introduction to the beautiful town of San Quirico. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch, an aperitif, or a literary snack with excellent niche wines. Recommended.
