The restaurant looks great and is very nicely decorated. The waiters were very nice and polite. However, I found the quality of the service to be below average. Although we ordered a relatively expensive Brunello wine, it wasn’t decanted, and none of the waiters refilled our glasses. Our table didn’t have salt, pepper, and olive oil and we were looking for the waiter for at least 5 mins to ask for it. Our plates were taken away while we were still finishing our appetizers, and the next course arrived 10 minutes later. I wouldn’t have written this review if the steak we ordered had been good. The meat was not tender and was quite chewy. I wouldn’t revisit.

Very characteristic restaurant, but at the same time with dishes cooked really well. If one day I return to Siena with my wife, we will certainly go back to sit at one of those tables and enjoy the proposals.

Enchanted not only by the excellent food and the enviable variety of wines, but also by the staff in particular: friendly, helpful, always smiling, always ready for everything. I was truly pampered. Excellent value for money and raw materials. Ate beautifully. I highly recommend!!!

Every meal was delicious. Great atmosphere and service. I had the lamb, it was awesome. I rate it as one of my restaurant in Siena.

Very suggestive restaurant you find yourself eating inside Etruscan tombs and then it is located a stone's throw from the cathedral. The service is truly impeccable, with all the waiters attentive to satisfying every customer request. Excellent dishes of excellent quality as an entree they bring you an exquisite tomato soup accompanied by different types of bread as a starter I took a delicious pecorino flan and as a first course a fantastic saffron and porcini risotto also the excellent dessert all accompanied by a Vernaccia di San Gimignano

Truly characteristic place run by exquisite people, just like the menu they offer. Excellent quality, the best Fiorentina I've ever eaten! Great food, great wines really worth trying because you won't be disappointed! Compliments

Viste le ottime recensioni sul locale, abbiamo voluto provarlo. Il ristorante si trova a pochi metri dal Battistero di Siena (proprio dietro al Duomo) e se all'esterno può passare inosservato ad un passante frettoloso, l'interno è fantastico. Dopo un salone si accede alle grotte tufacee e non si può non rimanere piacevolmente sorpresi, al pensiero della storia e delle storie che quelle pareti potrebbero raccontare. Il servizio è stato impeccabile. Tra l'altro siamo arrivati puntuali all'orario prenotato, ma non essendosi ancora liberato il tavolo, ci hanno fatto accomodare comunque ed offerto un ottimo prosecco. I camerieri erano giovani, ma sono apparsi ben preparati. I piatti erano squisiti: dal flan di pecorino di Pienza agli gnocchi con crema di scampi. Chi ha preso una pasta al tartufo si é visto tagliare fettine di tartufo sul piatto direttamente al tavolo. Ottima anche la scelta dei vini. Prezzi alti, ma ancora non si é capito, la qualità si paga ed in questo caso le materie prime erano di prim'ordine, per cui ci sta eccome. Consigliatissimo

The food was excellent, fine, dining but expensive. The service, however, didn’t quite match the quality of the food. Approximately 40 minutes after arrival before water was brought to the table. we were seated in the cave area which was a different experience. At first it did smell damp, but we soon got used to that. It was, however, a little cool so take a jumper!
