14/07/2025: The cuisine is sublime. The vegetable and orange zest parcels are unforgettable. The Tuscan soup is super good, and without the right amount of flavor. The slow-cooked rabbit with truffle sauce was excellent, although I'd say it was almost too tender (I like it more substantial, I don't quite understand this slow-cooked thing). They were super friendly and easy-going. We dined outside on the terrace in front, and it was a pleasure. But the dining room is also pleasant. The atmosphere of a trattoria that knows how to do things is much appreciated.

15/05/2025: An unmissable experience for meat lovers! This butcher shop-restaurant perfectly combines the passion for raw materials and the art of cooking. The variety of steaks is surprising and the quality is truly excellent. As the owner told me – with kindness and a hint of pride – “if it’s less than four fingers, it’s carpaccio”, and in fact each cut served is generous and perfectly enhanced. The owners and staff are welcoming, competent and passionate: they know how to guide you in your choice with great professionalism and a smile. The price is high, but absolutely proportionate to the quality and overall experience. Satisfied with my choice, I will definitely return to try some other steaks... maybe even thicker!

11/06/2025: La Corte di San Leonardo is such a great restaurant with great pizza and a nice atmosphere with the most friendly staff, including the lovely Chiara, Fransesco and Theresa. They have taken such great care of us while we stayed at the next door hotel here in Pisa. Absolutely recommended, and do try the pistachio pizza please (San Leonardo).

07/06/2025: The restaurant has a very good location and a pleasant terrace. The staff is quick and tries hard to be friendly — and that’s where the positives end. The actual service turns out to be rather careless, with dirty dishes and empty bottles left on the table. Serving bread in a paper bag also doesn’t inspire much confidence. The food is very average in quality and definitely not worth the price. The ham with melon was completely dull and uninteresting — you might as well buy ham from a supermarket. The main course wasn’t bad, but certainly nothing special; the presentation felt more like a bar on the outskirts than a quality restaurant. Only the tiramisu lived up to expectations — it was genuinely tasty. Overall, the place is currently not worth the time spent.

06/07/2025: The food is very average. The staff is excellent! The plates and utensils are supposedly sustainable, made of paper or plastic. I don’t see how that’s sustainable considering they’re thrown away after use. Wouldn’t it be more sustainable to wash reusable dishes? It also takes away from the overall atmosphere.

16/06/2025: Clear agreements.... Restaurant with few frills, clear menu for everyone (at least for the table where you are). Everyone at the table takes the same thing, choosing between three types of menu. Slowly and "without haste" as they say here. Excellent tagliatelle with ragù di mucco pisano, the tagliata was right, excellent appetizers. In short, eating well without too many frills. I recommend it and we will be back.

27/05/2025: scoperto per caso. vicino al tribunale di pisa . da tre mesi e' diventato una abitudine ricorrente prima dell'udienza. milanese da 43 anni ho ritrovato i gusti dei miei primi anni toscani. sapori veri, senza fronzoli, dove si chiacchiera anche tra tavoli vicini. per un carnivoro ottimo ma anche piatti pisani di pesce povero

06/06/2025: This place was amazing, the food was so good (recommend something from the wooden grill) and the staff was SO nice and accommodating. We had two children and the staff was quick to whip up something simple for them! We ended up going back for seconds while on our stay in Palaia because of how good the experience was. The first time we sat inside and the second time the restaurant was full so we sat outside. The outside seating had the most beautiful view, but might not be ideal if you are prone to mosquito bites 😅

01/07/2025: I celebrated my daughter's birthday, with a pizza tour, we had a great time, excellent service, friendly waiters. We will definitely be back.

04/07/2025: Update July 25 and also the pizza needs to be eliminated poor quality raw materials industrial cheese of the sticky and soft kind passed off as fiordilatte terrible dough price for Margherita 7.50 in 2024 had raised the prices but the quality was there now high prices and terrible quality of the products.... not even a shadow of what it used to be..... Too bad for me it was a must ... 8/5/24 they have changed policy and menu. Raised the prices. Eliminated the chips included in the hamburger dish, they must be purchased separately, you have to pay for ketchup and mayonnaise (1€) but you have to pay for them. Why all this? To align themselves with the prices of other places... so they decided to align themselves downwards!... enough with raising prices and offering inferior services!!! Those who are employed on a fixed salary and everything is taxed...cannot pass on the price increase to anyone, we are the last link in the chain...the only choice we have is to no longer go out to dinner or choose and reward those places that make an ETHICAL choice! Then in Pisa the economy of the places is practically supported by university students... historically not very rich... think about it before losing customers... frankly, next time before coming to you I will look around and look for other places. I will no longer come blind!

02/07/2025: We chose looking for Google reviews. We were not disappointed. 🍕 Delicious, the one with truffles is amazing. Nice atmosphere. Even though we didn't have a reservation, a table was found for us. Very tasty and nice.
