01/03/2025: Slow and disorganized. Maybe an oversight one evening, I hope. Saturday evening, we arrive at 8pm. Absolutely not crowded place. When ordering we order three menu items which we are told are finished. At 8pm. Then 40 minutes of waiting for the starters. After 25 minutes of waiting they tell us that "we're almost there". We ask for explanations, they give us two different versions: problems in the kitchen, or alternatively that "you all arrived together, so there are delays", but the place was not crowded. In any case, abundant dishes, average quality, nothing excellent but not bad either. They made a bad impression also considering that we were guests. Sin. We won't be back.

02/02/2025: I stayed for 2 nights in November, as an overnight stay for a trip from Milan, for work. I found the room welcoming and clean, excellent breakfast, same thing for dinner. Very relaxing location. I recommend it!

Maximum availability of all staff (attentive and punctual). Magnificent and evocative Christmas atmosphere...all these things made our reception enchanting. 26/02/2025: Pizzas spectacular. A perfect cake with a very original decoration. Tradition in a new version. Once again, it is confirmed that sometimes it is worth going a little off the beaten track. Nice and atmospheric place. Friendly, competent service.

07/02/2025: The best ice cream I've ever had! I would return to Pisa just to try blackberry ice cream again. They make completely artisanal ice cream and the flavors vary depending on the season. The place is very simple, it is not a place to stay, it is much better to eat outside by the river.

27/11/2024: as everyone knows, Italy is famous for producing the best gelato, but the ones here - from a small ice cream parlor in the center of Pisa - are truly unique. there is no permanent offer of flavors, they change, but there is great diversity. the proposals are interesting and unusual. There are 3 portion sizes, we ordered the smallest one, but it was still big! an additional advantage is the location - the ice cream parlor is located right next to the iconic Caffè dell'Ussero. all these factors make this place a must see on the map of Pisa!

11/03/2025: OLIVUM Armando's tavern is located in a very healthy hilly area of ​​Ponte a Elsa. We were guests of this establishment last Sunday for lunch. I can assert that we were pampered with as much kindness as naturalness. The various options for the types of dishes were shown to us. We chose the "special" tasting consisting of 5 courses, all masterfully prepared by the chef who also illustrated their composition in detail, with the relative raw materials used. The wine pairing is excellent: a 100% Merlot from Friuli. Elegant and relaxing location equipped with a large parking area outside for customers.

08/03/2025: Even though I live a few kilometers from Lajatico, I had never been to dinner in this restaurant, and I must say that the food was really good, especially the old-fashioned way, the fried rabbit then tasted the same as when grandma cooked it, not to mention the tiramisu, extraordinary, all at a price absolutely accessible to everyone, well done, congratulations to all the staff 👏👏👏

11/01/2025: I don't give 5 stars just because it didn't have the wow effect. In essence, you eat in a sincere way and at honest prices in an environment with an artistic tone and an almost old-fashioned flavour. If you happen to be in those parts it is a recommended restaurant.

02/03/2025: Very nice environment, professional and smiling staff. Excellent choice of meats, we tried a very good Polish one. The side dishes and desserts are also excellent (top tiramisu)

20/02/2025: Very refined and "fine" environment, impeccable quality in the raw materials, from appetizers to desserts. Tartare with truffle and pecorino, 1.5kg steak (divided into 3) with various side dishes (potatoes, turnip greens, artichokes), homemade dessert and bottle of local wine, €50 each. Possibility to choose the steak to eat! Absolutely recommended, you spend a little but it's really worth it.
