25/11/2025: Sensational location! A picture-perfect view, beautifully decorated, and with good, if not entirely exceptional, food. We were there on a Monday, when they have live music. A bit loud for conversation, but truly an experience! On top of that, there was an Italian wedding going on, where all the guests were invited onto the dance floor. Just like in a movie! 😀 With such a visually stunning location, we've often experienced that the food was average. That's not the case here. The prices are also reasonable. Highly recommended!

14/02/2026: We had lunch today with my husband to celebrate Valentine's Day. Everything was really excellent. We had delicious spaghetti with clams, and the wild boar cacciatore was very soft and tasty. The desserts were also good and the portions were generous. Furthermore, the service was very quick and the girl who served us was very kind and nice. We will definitely be back.

30/12/2025: Strolling through the streets of Volterra around lunchtime, we decided to stop at this fishmonger's and eatery, tempted by the menu: hot and cold appetizers (shrimp with cream), snapper with clams and artichokes, spaghetti with clams, mussels, and fried fish... Inside, past the fishmonger's counter, there are a few tables where you can have lunch. The courteous and attentive staff served us memorable dishes. The spaghetti with clams was amazing, the fried calamari and cod was melt-in-your-mouth and just the right amount of salt, and last but not least, the inevitable cantucci (delicious and flavored with orange) with Vin Santo. It was a lunch that made our experience in the enchanting village of Volterra even more enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

19/09/2025: The certainty of eating well. At Cigliere, we met truly kind staff. The pizzas are delicious: thin and well-topped. 26/02/2026: Last Sunday we went for an aperitivo, since they'd set up a kiosk outside the restaurant. We asked the waiter for two spritzes. The spritz was served in a plastic cup (despite the price, which is similar to other places on the seafront where the service is of a markedly different quality), and it was truly too little and terrible. The accompanying chips and peanuts arrived after a prompt and when the spritz was almost finished. When it came time to pay, the lady at the cash register didn't give us a receipt, but we asked for it anyway.

10/01/2026: On Saturday evening, I dined at this restaurant in Marina di Pisa with some friends, and, as always, we had a truly wonderful time. It's not my first time here, and each time I'm reassured by the quality of this place. The dishes were very good, carefully prepared, and made with quality ingredients: you can see and taste the passion they put into the kitchen. For this, I want to extend my sincere compliments to the kitchen staff. The service was also excellent: the staff were kind, helpful, and attentive, always smiling. I've already complimented them personally, because when a place does this well, it's only right to say so directly. Congratulations again!

04/01/2026: We spent New Year's Eve at the old cellars of Chianni, taking advantage of a three-day package that also included a New Year's Eve dinner. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the kind Alessio, who assigned us two very spacious and welcoming rooms on the first floor, with vaulted ceilings and comfortable beds. On the evening of the dinner, the dining room was beautifully decorated and the food was abundant, with well-prepared meat and fish, using excellent ingredients, and including high-quality local drinks. The evening was enlivened by Andrea's live music, with the option of requesting songs from a wide selection thanks to the QR code left on the tables, allowing everyone to listen to their favorite hits. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with a wide selection of sweet and savory options. We were traveling with our Cocker Spaniel, who was made very welcome. Thanks to the courtesy of the staff, the authenticity of the property, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the quality of the restaurant, we had a truly pleasant stay that allowed us to explore the Valdera, with Chianni as our base. We will return in spring to enjoy new shades of color on these rolling hills.
