26/12/2025: I’ve visited Testi twice recently—once for dinner and once for my Christmas shopping—and both experiences were superb. For dinner, the experience starts off right: you get a glass of Prosecco to sip on while you select your steak. They offer an incredible variety of cuts from different countries and flavor profiles. We tried two different steaks, and both were cooked to absolute perfection. We paired them with a delicious local wine from their well-curated list. I returned a few days later to stock up for Christmas. As expected, the quality was top-tier. The roast beef, sausages, and prosciutto were all outstanding. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the service. The hosts are incredibly kind and generous with their recommendations. You can tell they genuinely love what they do and are dedicated to making sure every guest is well taken care of. Highly recommended!

14/03/2026: Historic restaurant in the center of Pisa, with a decidedly traditional menu. I highly recommend the ragù, which is in my top three in the city. Excellent service. Excellent desserts, fair prices.

Lorenzo was patient and attentive to my every request, and I can't thank him enough. I recommend this magnificent osteria to everyone; we'll definitely be back.

07/03/2026: I've been getting takeout pizza from this pizzeria for years now, and it's become my favorite in the area. Unfortunately, since my last meal there, I've noticed a decline in the pizza's quality. The main problem is the lack of tomato, which makes the pizza dry and parched in several places. This evening, we ordered a vegetarian pizza without mozzarella and two spicy salami pizzas. The vegetarian pizza was basically a dry crust with a splash of tomato and vegetables on top, while the salami pizzas at least had mozzarella, which made the dough less dry, although the tomato flavor was missing in many places. Despite this, the flavor remains very good and the ingredients are top-quality. I'll definitely be back, hoping for improvements.

15/03/2026: We visited in mid-March, on a Sunday for lunch in the enchanting San Miniato. The restaurant is beautiful and bright, with large windows overlooking the splendid valley. The wait staff is fabulous, attentive to every need, always kind and professional. It's really hard to express anything about the dishes because they were all so good, with well-defined yet delicate flavors that combined to create a symphony that is hard to forget. High-quality, seasonal ingredients that showcase the local produce. We tried the land tasting, and our 13-year-old daughter was won over by the bottega with dried tomatoes and guinea fowl, duck, and rabbit ragù. Finally, the chef, a wonderful person with kindness in his eyes, was a pleasure to thank for the wonderful lunch. I recommend going, even more than once, to explore the various menus. It's a place that exudes simple, elegant cordiality.

06/12/2025: A very romantic restaurant with just a few tables in a historic villa in Bientina. A husband and wife team run the place. She serves impeccable, attentive service, always with a smile. He's in the kitchen, preparing incredible dishes. The menu changes and focuses primarily on meat and game, cooked with incredible finesse. A special mention goes to the reinterpretation of the "typical liver crostini," which is truly exceptional. It's become one of my all-time favorite dishes! (And I don't like livers!). Excellent wine list with a very fair markup. We've already been back and will be back again! Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: You'll immediately find a friendly, family atmosphere, excellent and fast service, and plentiful, fresh dishes! A large screen for watching the games (Naples is the star). The staff were friendly and helpful right from the start. We called to make a reservation, and since we're new to the place, they sent us their location on WhatsApp and reserved a quiet spot. And by the way, there's a large parking lot that's always available! (There are a few potholes too many for my low-slung car!). Thank you so much.

20/08/2025: Simply a horrible experience. As soon as I entered, I was greeted by rude and surly staff who seemed annoyed. The worst part was the terrible quality of the food in every way. A horrific experience. And I strongly advise against it. Avoid going or buying anything from this horrible place.

25/07/2025: A casual restaurant offering quality dishes, specializing in wood-fired, free-range, antibiotic-free chicken, served in generous, tasty portions. The rotisserie offers a wide range of options: not only whole or portioned chicken, but also pasta dishes like lasagna, gnocchi, chicken parcels, finger foods, and side dishes like roast potatoes, caponata, or grilled vegetables. Friendly staff and efficient service. Excellent value.

24/12/2025: A historic restaurant in Pisa, and in my opinion, the best cecina in the city...and not only that, the menu offers a wide selection of schiacciatine for all tastes, as well as pizza. Highly recommended.
