30/04/2026: I wonder what the people who rated this place have eaten. Have they ever tried award-winning pizzerias? Have they ever tried frozen pizzas from the supermarket? How is it possible that this place's pizza is called by so many the best in Pisa? It's a mystery. I've tried every Gamberorosso-awarded pizza (and more) in Tuscany. I can give my opinion. This place's pizza has zero softness, no crust. It feels like unleavened bread with ingredients on top. The crust is actually crunchy, almost like crackers. The ingredients are low-quality; you can't taste or smell the flavors. I wouldn't go back for anything. The frozen marinara or margherita pizza from ITALPIZZA is far superior and costs less than €3. If I go to a place and spend €20, I have to get something better, otherwise I'll stay home and make it myself. Update on the owner's response. My "career" is a firsthand experience, having tested award-winning pizzas in Tuscany for years, such as APOGEO in Pietrasanta, Lo Spela in Greve in Chianti, SUD in Florence, Battil'oro in Seravezza, etc. Pizzerias among the 50 best in Italy. The crust of their pizzas wasn't as firm as a tarallo from Puglia, but soft and airy. Your pizza is among the worst I've ever eaten. I repeat, the frozen pizza from ITALPIZZA is far better and costs less than 3 euros.

14/03/2026: I found this place by chance while walking through the village's alleys. It was an exceptional experience in every way. We were welcomed with excellent wine and small dishes made entirely by them. The search for the right balance of flavors and the presentation of the dishes made the dinner an experience worth repeating. But even more so, the kindness of the staff and their attention to detail. The ability to choose your meat knife according to your favorite color made the experience even more engaging and personal. I was struck by the young age of the owners. I can only wish them the best!

05/05/2026: Small wine bar in the heart of Pisa. Excellent aperitif, but the menu is also suitable for dinner. The platters are very good and plentiful, featuring local products. Perhaps the only (small) flaw is the pieces of schiacciata and bread that were a few hours too old: a quick reheat in the oven would have made them perfect, but nothing really problematic. The scamorza and pepper lasagna is also recommended. The wine list isn't particularly extensive for a wine bar, but it offers a good variety. The lady who served us was very friendly.

12/04/2026: A delightful restaurant in a narrow alleyway in old Pisa that leads onto Lungarno Pacinotti. Family-run, very well managed by the empathetic Martina. Everything is freshly made in a pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere. A good selection of wines.

We had paccheri with artichokes and truffle gnocchi, and for our second course, fillet steak with artichokes on a potato cream, and I have to say, delicious! Excellent service. It's a shame the place is a bit too dark, but it's beautiful and well-kept, and the staff is incredibly kind! WELL DONE 👏👏

26/04/2026: A modern and welcoming place, perfect for a dinner with friends... As soon as we arrived, we were offered a welcome focaccia, a simple but truly appreciated gesture... A very interesting feature is the display case with a selection of cheeses, an original idea that allows you to further customize and enrich your pizza with delicious combinations... The dough is thin and crispy, well-cooked and light... The pizzas are well-topped, with fresh, top-quality ingredients... The service was fast, attentive, and friendly.

I had the vegan pizza of the month and it was truly amazing! 🌱 Light dough, thoughtful and delicious combinations, and the special feature is the selection of excellent plant-based cheeses that make all the difference, in addition to the vegan mozzarella. 😍 Finally, a truly inclusive place that's serious about vegan pizzas!! You can also order a plant-based cheese board! Bonus: they also have vegan desserts, perfect for a sweet end! Highly recommended!!! 💚 I can't wait to come back to try the other plant-based options!

18/04/2026: This has become our favorite place to take friends to eat when they come to Volterra. The 360 views are absolutely magnificent. Wonderful lunch with seasonal dishes. Owners and staff are very nice and extremely accommodating if someone in your group has dietary restrictions. Recommend you call ahead to reserve.

31/10/2025: Excellent little restaurant with limited seating. Everything was delicious, from the taglierino appetizer to the pappardelle with wild boar to the Chianina beef stew. All were paired with a nice red wine recommended by the friendly and professional host. Excellent value for money.

23/12/2025: It was a small little place but the food was out of expectation. I ordered the grilled seabass, gnocchi salmon, carbonara and tiramisu. My favorite out of all is the carbonara. It's simple yet flavorful. I think I would probably missed this place if I didn't see the reviews. The only thing that caught me off guard was the water charges. Even though my group only got 1 bottle of water, the restaurant charge €3 person. There's also a 10-15% charge for the lights and stuff, similar to taxes.
