21/04/2026: It appears to be a five-star establishment, both for the ambiance and the truly well-stocked wine cellar.
Sit down and experience this place in more detail, and you'll appreciate a very extensive but somewhat overpriced wine list, a limited and not particularly high-quality culinary offering, and above all, a somewhat confusing communication style. I'd read about set menus on the website, but once we arrived at the restaurant, they turned out to be reserved only for large groups.
It's a shame, there's great potential that hasn't been fully exploited.
16/03/2026: The cheesecake was truly awful: a hard, flavorless base, a kilometer high, with a ton of berries on top and a millimeter of cream from the bags in the middle. Five euros thrown in the bin.

11/04/2026: We had dinner this evening for two. The service was good, but the price was definitely exorbitant. One pizza in particular cost €19 (it had broccoli rabe cream, stracciatella, sausage, and a tarallo). The pizza wasn't bad, but it was extremely overpriced. The price wasn't listed on the menu. It's absurd; we won't be back.
29/03/2026: Dinner. Perfect welcome, very kind and helpful. Truly excellent pizzas to say the least. Gourmet pizzas 🔝🔝. Excellent quality!

03/05/2026: Six stars for the kindness of Grandma and Daughter, for the atmosphere, and also for the traditional/authentic food.
We, two Finns, spent a week in Ponsacco cycling through the Tuscan hills (which were also beautiful...). We wanted to eat simple, typical dishes of the area, food like home-made. Da Chiara was the perfect place to do it! We haven't found another place like it. The pasta was really good... We wanted to bring Grandma with us to Finlandia, but we weren't able to. 😉

29/04/2026: Ended up here by chance during a rush visit to the optician. It feels like you're allowed to pull up a chair in their living room! Friendly, cozy, and above all: the best pizza of the entire Tuscany holiday! We will definitely be back if we are in the area!

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner in a casual setting. Everything was delicious and plentiful. We had a great time.
20/12/2025: Hi, before writing this review I waited until I went a second time... the menu isn't that great, there's no choice, the prices are quite high, and the food... I personally didn't like anything. They don't even open the wine for you at the table, they open it behind you, which isn't good. Management has changed, and it shows. I hope they change something for them.

The sweet and savory pastries, cappuccinos, and coffees are both delicious. Pleasant and relaxing!

07/11/2023: La cucina è molto buona e hanno grande varietà di piatti. Unico neo, a volte i piatti sono troppo salati.
03/10/2023: Non posso che parlarne bene.
La cortesia e la cordialità di chi gestisce il locale è già indicativo di ciò che trovate.
Si mangia bene, si spende poco, in luogo confortevole e pulito.
E' al centro di Ponsacco. Da lì andate ovunque o ovunque andiate è facile arrivarci.
