18/06/2025: A brilliant place close to the Arno River boulevards and near Piazza dei Miracoli. In the evenings, they only open at 7:30 p.m. but it's worth waiting, and it's best to book a table in advance. The food is delicious. We've been here three times, each time I ate something different and each time the food was excellent. Manuelo, who served us, is very helpful in choosing dishes, speaks English well and explains what the dish consists of nicely. If you're going there with two people, I recommend "500 meters" for starters - a board of cold cuts and cheeses straight from local suppliers. And then "hulaj dusza piekła nie ma" several dishes to choose from, but all worth recommending. They also have excellent wines and often ones that are hard to find in stores. Personally, after trying a few of them, I recommend the red IXE. In my opinion, first class. Additionally, the owners are very nice, with whom I had the opportunity to talk a little and the smiles on everyone's faces resulting not only from politeness. You can see that these people love what they do. Many thanks for everything and I hope to see you soon.

16/06/2025: This delicious regional food is, perhaps, overshadowed by the enthusiastic hospitality offered by the sole server, Manuel, who effortlessly managed over a dozen tables- in several languages. He helped us select another fine meal- this was our second visit in 2 years- and was a pleasure to watch.

11/07/2025: The pizza was good, but based on the reviews, I expected more. First of all, instead of slices of ham, there was some kind of luncheon meat, which really spoiled the overall effect. There are only three tables, so you had to wait first and then eat quickly, as other people were already waiting. Prices are low.

26/06/2025: As soon as we entered, in addition to the warm welcome from the owners, we were pleasantly delighted by the excellent aroma coming from the kitchen. We opted for fish but there is also an excellent choice in the land menu. Very fresh fish, cooked to perfection and with passion! I highly recommend it! Congratulations indeed!

20/06/2025: Every time I am in Pisa I come to Mario. Exceptional Margherita, crunchy and slow-rising, also *gluten-free*. Friendly staff and top-quality pizza. A cool place in Piazza delle Vettovaglie for evenings with live music (there are street musicians) in a cosmopolitan and medieval setting.

The selection of beers and wines is also good, and the staff can advise you on the best pairing. The only negative note is that it cannot be reached by car, but there are parking lots not too far away outside the ZTL. I definitely recommend it.

13/07/2025: Excellent raw materials, all the preparations are made in-house: bread, sauces, caramelized onions, the meat is minced on-site. And what can we say about the chips? Real potatoes, thinly sliced, with the skin on, and fried to order. The craft beers are excellent. The owners are wonderful; we had a chance to chat, and their passion is undeniable. Absolutely fair prices! Keep up the good work... we'll definitely stop by when we pass by.

15/06/2025: Simple cuisine, huge dishes, honest prices, all enclosed in a picturesque little place that obviously remembers its name... The fish dishes are top, I challenge anyone to have an appetizer, first course and second course and not be stuffed to the ears...

15/07/2025: Really cozy, warm atmosphere - you set up your table then order food at counter and pick it up once it’s read. Home like feel. Get the coconut mousse for desert, so delicious. The pasta with ragu was a bit too al dente for my taste, but my taste pallet might just not be Italian enough to appreciate it. Otherwise the salad was great - generous portions even for a half portion. And the pieces are crazy cheap - $5 for well sized half portion of salad and $5 for well sized half portion of pasta. Cheapest meal of our trip in Italy. I’d go there for a cozy ambience, cheap food and drink. Great spot.
