03/09/2024: The food doesn't even deserve a star, we had dinner on Sunday 1st September on the all fish menu with descriptions of the catch of the day, but in reality we had 2 first courses €32 Strozza Preti with seafood everything was there except the catch of the day , but poor quality frozen fish with invisible micro mussels and prawns, dish arrived lukewarm, as a second course peppered with mussels beautiful to look at, super large mussels with an unpleasant smell, 1 fried dish for €22 always squid and prawns always fresh caught of the day, soaked of now old yellow oil with an indescribable flavor on the plate there were pieces perhaps of the head of the invisible squid of the invisible octopus and prawns soaked in oil paid €80 but no kind service and environment given September very quiet paid a lot and ate nothing bad they offered me a bitter just to cleanse the very ugly mouth of unpleasant flavors.

22/07/2024: This hotel is an understated, authentic and rustic gem. Its setting is spectacular and its amenities are excellent (pool, access to ocean and grottoes, tennis court etc). It is within walking distance to the charming Old Town of Castro and the stunning Marina is close by as are other interesting landmarks/towns. The staff, competently lead by Alexandra, are responsive and proactive in relation to any issues. Their recommendations for restaurants and day trips are outstanding ensuring an authentic and local experience. My only concern is for people with mobility issues as the hotel is set on a steep site with many stairs. Overall, a wonderful experience - and good value too!

02/09/2024: Pastry shop with excellent pastries, the staff a little less... I expected more kindness and helpfulness, but one of them wasn't very helpful... maybe it was her bad day... well... anyway

23/08/2024: Il prodotto sarà anche buono...ho preso una decina di tette con gusto assortiti. Ma da rivedere completamente l l'approccio con il cliente.la signora ci ha accolto al telefono, ha continuato la conversazione, quando è entrata un altra cliente ha servito prima lei e poi ci ha sgridato perché abbiamo aperto il frigo per chiedere informazioni sui vari gusti. Non sappiamo se è la titolare ma dovrebbe rivedere i principi base dell educazione.

09/08/2024: Che dire? Cibo squisito e ingredienti di ottima qualità. Ci siamo fatti consigliare da Giampiero sia per i secondi sia per una bottiglia di vino rosato ed è stato impeccabile. L’’antipasto della casa è spaziale e molto abbondante!!! Abbiamo cenato all’esterno ed è veramente suggestivo. Ci ritornerò senz’altro e lo consiglio senza ombra di dubbio.

08/08/2024: Formiche nel pane. Ristorante che si presenta molto carino con personale gentile. Ultima sera di una vacanza, decido di andarci a mangiare con la mia fidanzata. Nonostante le ottime aspettative che avevamo, ne siamo usciti molto delusi. Il cestino del pane arrivato all’inizio della cena era pieno di formiche. Dopo una segnalazione, ci è stato cambiato. Durante la serata, inoltre, è arrivato un gatto sotto il tavolo (probabilmente del ristorante stesso), rimanendoci per tutta la sera e mettendoci per un momento anche le zampe sopra, di fianco al piatto in cui stavo mangiando. Nonostante tutto questo, nessuno sconto. Deludente rispetto alle aspettative. Cibo non spettacolare. Sconsigliato.

20/08/2024: A glass of wine and a water and I had to pay Coperto. For what? The wine glass wasn't clean and the staff wasn't exactly friendly. The tables and chairs outside were dirty.

I call to ask for explanations obviously a little irritated and guess what? A crescendo of controversy arises! Among other things, I say "nonsense", a lady tells me. However, now I'll take a photo of a pizza delivered 300 meters away "conveniently" at home (they tell me) at the price of €8.33 euros! Judge for yourself...maybe I'm a fanatic but...I don't know. It's a shame because the pizza is good but without a bit of tact and like being half-assed traders in my opinion. Because anyone would have been angry in my place. In fact, as a local guide I disagree with the way of dealing with those who have objections without taking anything away from the goodness of this pizzeria. And in this regard, in fact, those who wrote good reviews received thanks, those who complained were treated like me... congratulations for your professionalism P.s.
