11/01/2025: We chose Tenuta Caradonna to celebrate my aunt Rita's 60th birthday, and we couldn't have asked for a better place for such a special occasion. The atmosphere was enchanting, elegant but welcoming, perfect for bringing the family together in an environment of absolute relaxation. The menu was impeccable, a journey through authentic and refined flavours. The Caradonna starters kicked off the lunch with an explosion of flavour, followed by two unforgettable first courses: the strozzapreti with seafood delicacies, very fresh and tasty, and the pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, crunchy speck, saffron cream and robiola, a rich and well-balanced dish. The second course, a slice of Gallipoli-style swordfish accompanied by prawns in kataifi and a garden of vegetables, was a true work of art, both in presentation and taste. To finish, french fries for the little ones, fresh fruit, sorbet and a delicious cake rounded off a memorable lunch. Special thanks go to Antonio, the Director who served us with great professionalism and extraordinary kindness. He helped make lunch even more pleasant, anticipating our every need with an ever-present smile. Tenuta Caradonna exceeded all our expectations: excellent food quality, impeccable service and truly rare customer attention. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to celebrate an important event in a place that conveys warmth and refinement. A heartfelt thank you for making Aunt Rita's birthday an unforgettable memory!

29/12/2024: Siamo stati molto contenti e soddisfatti. Gli antipasti misticerano tutti molto buoni. Ci sono state offerte delle pittule appena fatte, calde croccanti e saporite. Vermicelli cozze e fagioli e sagne ncannulate saporite ed equilibrate.

16/11/2024: Il "bel" del titolo non è riferito esattamente al locale che, almeno d'inverno, non è bellissimo. Un po' troppo piccolo e angusto, ma importa poco dinnanzi alla qualità del cibo. Antipasti davvero particolari e di ottima qualità, carne buonissima... Non abbiamo assaggiato i primi, ma sembravano appetitosi anch'essi. Anche i dolci della casa davvero squisiti. Prezzi nella norma. Esame superato alla grande.

16/03/2025: I have to thank my friend for letting me discover this tasty and original meat dish in Maglie. The Gyros Basket he chose for me (large version, with salad at the base, gyros sauce on top and french fries on the side) was huge and simply delicious. Meat and bread basket complemented each other from the first to the last bite, between juiciness and crunchiness. Congratulations to La Palicella!

23/03/2025: Superlative experience from all points of view. The place is very well-kept, the staff is extremely attentive and kind, then the cuisine is, as it were, based on a reinterpretation of tradition while preserving the authenticity of our grandmothers' cuisine. With a vast menu they offer land and sea dishes, in abundant portions but of the highest quality. The fish is very fresh, treated with mastery and expertly combined with other flavors. A lunch or dinner in this restaurant is a real treat, you can feel the passion in every detail, truly a stone's throw from the Duomo. Is it worth traveling 20 - 30 km to indulge in this pleasure? Absolutely yes and I hope everyone indulges in it more often.

20/03/2025: One of the best restaurants in Santa Maria al Bagno, excellent food and very friendly staff, with an excellent sea view, paid parking 150m away in summer but it's worth wasting time to park and get close to the sea to eat fried fish and drink a glass of wine

11/04/2025: Ho pranzato con la mia famiglia domenica 6 aprile . Per noi è stata la prima volta, all’accoglienza ci siamo sentiti subito a nostro agio Gloria ci ha fatto accomodare al primo piano del bistrot. Il pranzo è iniziato con dei ricci e dei crudi freschissimi, l’ antipasto (ottimo) ed un primo con la cernia, sublime. I nostri ragazzi invece hanno degustato un sushi con la S maiuscola! Ci hanno spiegato che non aggiungono glutammato nei loro piatti in quanto hanno a disposizione la materia prima eccellente in quanto grossisti di prodotti ittici ( ittica demar). Ciliegina sulla torta i dolci della loro pasticceria. Torneremo prestissimo . Bravissimi continuate così.

21/03/2025: Gita di famiglia a Lecce, con anche un piccolo cagnolino (che e' stato ammesso senza problemi). Cercavamo un locale in zona relativamente centrale, con cucina pugliese, che non richiedesse di accendere un mutuo. Abbiamo prenotato questo locale, che e' a distanza pedonale dal centro. Il cibo e' risultato veramente ottimo, dalla tartare di scottona, ai primi tradizionali. Il servizio molto veloce. Le porzioni non sono abbondanti, ma neanche risicate: sara' perche' era tutto molto buono, ma un po piu' di quantita' non ci sarebbe dispiaciuta. Il prezzo di listino e' nella norma dei locali di Lecce che abbiamo visionato (quindi un po' caro rispetto agli standard a cui siamo abituati), ma grazie allo sconto TheFork, il conto e' stato molto conveniente, con un rapporto costo/qualita' eccellente. Se torneremo a Lecce, sicuramente ripasserremo da questo locale.
