Lido Pizzo In Gallipoli

Low season; you can enjoy the silence and peace of this stretch of coast. Too bad for some waste and plastic scattered on the beach and pine forest.

Well when you're on holiday everything is better. Week with fantastic friends. Fantastic place with really good food. We'll see again.

White beach and crystal clear sea. Next to the equipped beach there is a free beach. Adjacent parking and walk of approximately 300 metres, partly through the pine forest. Also ideal for families with children. Wonderful White fine Sand, bright clear water. Park placed about 300 MT from seaside.

Un luogo fantastico per lunghe passeggiate autunnali e perché no qualche bagnetto fuori stagione.Località stupenda, una spiaggia da sogno con alle spalle una splendida pineta, ciliegina sulla torta tante DUNE coperte in parte di macchia mediterranea, uno spettacolo indimenticabile. Provare per credere (io ci sono stato questa mattina e ho fatto il bagno, un'acqua cristallina da sogno).

I recently visited Lido Pizzo beach in Italy and had a nice but expensive experience. The beach itself is quite lovely, with soft golden sand and clear blue waters. However, I found the prices at the beach clubs and restaurants to be on the high side. A basic lunch of a panino sandwich, chips and a beer cost around 15-20 euros - quite pricey for simple fare. The other downside was that the beach is very popular for kite surfing. While it was neat to watch the colorful kites flying around, it made swimming difficult. The kite surfers would zoom by, making it dangerous to swim out too far from shore. I got kicked several times by surfers not paying attention. Overall, Lido Pizzo is beautiful but could be better with lower prices and less crowded waters. For a more relaxed beach experience, I'd likely visit another spot along the Italian coast next time that doesn't cater so much to watersports. The natural scenery is gorgeous, but I wish my experience had been more comfortable.
