01/01/2026: Everything was fine except for the New Year's Eve organization: tables for 13 and tables for 7 without any apparent logic. By the end of the evening, two women's bathrooms and one men's bathroom had become three women's bathrooms and two men's portable toilets, with no way for us men to even wash our hands. Even when we asked politely, they categorically refused to let us use the bathroom. As a restaurant, it's okay, but I wouldn't recommend it for large events.

30/12/2025: We received a preliminary information email from Villa Vergine that did not specify the mandatory minimum number of 130 people. Based on this information, we booked the venue and paid a €2,000 security deposit. Upon receiving the contract, we discovered the existence of this essential clause. Unable to meet this minimum, we did not sign the contract. Despite the obvious lack of prior information, the organizer refused to refund the deposit. We found this situation dishonest and very disappointing, especially considering the importance of an event like a wedding.

16/11/2025: I had a great time! Excellent local cuisine with traditional ingredients. The owners were very kind and helpful, and the location was also very convenient.

17/10/2025: Beautiful, quiet agricamping. We had our own bathroom, but the hot water was unstable and the pressure quickly dropped. Wi-Fi was available, but it wasn't stable. The location between Otranto and Lecce is ideal for exploring southern Salento. Highly recommended for a short break.

24/10/2025: We had pizzas delivered. They were really good with quality ingredients, and the fries tasted like they were fresh off the stove. The only downside was that we ordered on digital platforms, which stated delivery would be 8:30 PM, but instead the pizzas arrived at 10 PM. I understand that on a Saturday night like this, it can happen, but I recommend keeping the various portals updated to avoid any inconveniences, otherwise it's best to cancel the service.

11/09/2025: The pizzas are very good and very affordable. The cocktails are nothing to write home about. The setting is pleasant. Don't hesitate to go there or stop by for a beer and a pizza. They also serve salads. In short, I discovered it too late. Good luck with your trip.

16/12/2025: I'm only speaking from my experience. So, when we arrived, despite having booked a table for five at 9:30 PM (via text), no one had noted our reservation. The appetizers arrived after about 40 minutes, and to top off the experience, some of us had our pizzas arrive at 11:16 PM, while those who had ordered sandwiches saw them arrive after another 20 minutes. After a two-hour wait, in my opinion, you'll definitely lose your appetite. The quality of the dishes was also decent, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it for those in a hurry. In my very humble opinion, the kitchen, in addition to having an enormous menu, isn't capable of handling so many guests... otherwise, there wouldn't have been a two-hour wait.

25/11/2025: We visited this pizzeria and really appreciated the large outdoor space, perfect for summer evenings. The atmosphere is nice, but the service leaves a bit to be desired; there were probably too many customers and the staff couldn't keep up with everything. The wait was also quite long. The pizzas are good, though nothing exceptional.

26/12/2025: A pleasant surprise during our visit to the city. Careful preparation and a warm welcome, the quality of the products used was excellent. Highly recommended for those seeking quality, impeccable service, and traditional cuisine. Excellent value for money.

28/09/2025: Great dining under a beautifully lit tree in a courtyard. The pistachio crusted bream was the best of what we ordered. The beef was too chewy. I would post the tiramisu but it was quickly devoured.

25/08/2025: I'd like to sincerely thank the owners and all the staff at Agriturismo Santa Chiara. They were always kind and helpful, ready to help us or check in. They offered us a beautiful room overlooking the pool. The included breakfast was delicious, with a nice mix of sweet and savory. Sometimes the lady cooks for guests, and I must say she's truly excellent. I absolutely recommend staying there for dinner, as it was a delicious and warm experience. The agriturismo is large and welcoming, perfect for taking photos or reading a book while relaxing in the sun by the pool. I found a bit of my hometown in them, as they are family-like, kind, and welcoming—just what I was looking for in southern Italy. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, safe, and welcoming place.

06/09/2025: Fabulous place. First of all, it has very convenient parking, which is always a plus 😜 for those coming from Gallipoli or by car. But it's also very convenient to walk here if you're on vacation like my wife and I and happen to be sleeping nearby. Comfortable seating, beautiful lighting. Varied menu. The sales assistants are very friendly and professional. Everything is delicious 😋🤩

28/12/2025: First time at King Pizza. The atmosphere is very comfortable and elegant. We ordered two pizzas and a Coke. The pizza was good, and for those who love a low, crispy crust, this is a great place to go. It was cooked perfectly (you can always be sure of a low crust and a little less leavened). Even though it was Sunday, the wait was short, and the pizzas were served quickly. The service and the waiters were excellent. Overall, we were satisfied.
