14/02/2025: Delightful place, I didn't imagine that a diner could have such tasty options, I went with my family on Saturday, and everything was delicious!!! Very kind staff and affordable prices. Wide choice of first courses, second courses, pizzas and sandwiches. Comfortable and clean room.

01/09/2025: Reservations recommended to secure a table and enjoy the Macelleria's delicacies! Five of us had a grilled meat for three and a mixed fried fish dish. Everything was excellent and the portions were just right! Family-run, a bit disorganized, but that's part of the beauty! Beautiful location! Highly recommended!

12/06/2025: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 An unforgettable experience at Summerfish in Otranto! We were welcomed with great kindness and professionalism by the owner Cosimo, who made us feel at home right away. The service was impeccable, thanks to the wonderful Valentina and Sharon, always smiling, available and attentive to every detail. The food was simply delicious, fresh and carefully prepared. The location, with its relaxing atmosphere and suggestive view, made the evening perfect. Highly recommended for those looking for quality, hospitality and a special evening in the heart of Salento. We will definitely be back!

09/06/2025: I go back every year and every year my experience changes only in a positive way...we went back today in 2025 and I am still amazed that the service is always excellent and the food is of high quality...very ready, between the owner and the staff to satisfy the needs of the customer...nothing to do with full restaurants but with poor and low quality food...in Otranto one of my favorite restaurants

05/08/2025: A wonderful discovery in the heart of Salento! We stumbled upon this place almost by accident, but it was one of those discoveries that make you feel lucky. The restaurant is located inside a typical Salento residence, with splendid star-shaped vaults that reflect the history and authentic charm of the area. The atmosphere is welcoming, familiar, simple yet meticulously crafted, perfect for those seeking a quiet corner away from the tourist bustle. We sampled the pizza—fragrant, light, with quality ingredients, perfectly cooked—and a rich assortment of truly delicious Salento fried pastries: crispy, flavorful, and not at all greasy, prepared with evident skill and love for local tradition. The desserts are also excellent and not to be missed. The staff was extremely kind, always smiling and helpful, ready to offer advice with courtesy and attention, without ever being intrusive. We immediately felt at home. The prices are also noteworthy, decidedly fair considering the quality of the food and the overall experience: a value for money that is hard to find elsewhere. In conclusion, an authentic place where you can breathe the true essence of Salento. We will definitely return and enthusiastically recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine, delicious, and relaxing experience.

01/07/2025: We entered with an appetite and left hungry. The dish was embarrassing to say the least, a tiny sausage with 4 leaves of lettuce. Not to mention the hot place, you were sweating while eating. Compared to other times, it has clearly worsened. Never again.

23/08/2025: Arancini of various types, all expertly made, served hot in a beautiful and welcoming setting. The owner is very kind and helpful. A special mention goes to their cannoli, filled to order with ricotta cheese flown directly from Palermo—simply fantastic. Recommended.

30/06/2025: Discount pizza, but what Caputo flours, but what Gallipoli fishmongers. The pizza you served us was pre-cooked/frozen from the INS on which you added a burrata (of very poor quality) to one while on the other you didn't add anything, not even two slices of mushrooms and instead you left nice chunks of mushrooms soaked in water, as you obviously find on frozen pizzas. Now you can (as I've seen it's your custom) deny it by saying that your ingredients bla bla bla or offend your customers with considerations on eating habits or the cost of a lunch. The real shame is that the place would have good potential. Regarding the reviews I read, I note that you have an excellent relationship with some of your customers, almost friendly but also lucky and so if a criticism comes about the sandwiches here is a praise for them, if the criticism is about the pizza the praise is also about the pizza. Unfortunately I don't have any photos to show, I paid and left and no, I didn't make any complaints on the spot (if it had been about the technique or the dough I could have given you suggestions, but I don't think it would have been appropriate to give you advice on the best discount store in the area), while made here the complaint can be useful to your future customers. I hope that this review can be useful not only to your customers but also to yourselves and I invite you to reflect on the fact that you could be ambassadors of your land and its products.
