16/02/2026: We chose this trattoria to spend Valentine's Day with a group of friends, and I must say it's a beautiful and delicious trattoria in the center of town. It's tastefully decorated, the service excellent, and the menu is very inviting, offering a wide variety of unique dishes from our Salento cuisine, revisited and beautifully presented. Above all, we tried the various appetizers, from the excellent cheese platter to the vegetables and typical dishes cooked according to Salento culinary traditions, including delicious "pittule Salentine," homemade potato croquettes, special fried meatballs, and delicious first and second courses—all of which allowed us to sample a variety of delicacies. I must say that all the dishes we chose were of excellent quality, both in terms of the use of high-quality and fresh ingredients, the excellent selection of wines, and finally, a delicious dessert. A key aspect of this trattoria is that the kitchen is on the first floor, thus separate from the lunch and dinner area. This ensures that the downstairs dining room, where service takes place, is clean and free of kitchen odors. Therefore, you can leave after lunch or dinner without getting your clothes smelly. This is a key aspect of this place. I highly recommend it.

12/01/2026: We ate very well and listened to lots of karaoke music (good and bad, but you know, that's what karaoke is good for). I was especially impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner, Lino, and his entire staff...I didn't have a chance to try the pizzas, but I hope to do so soon.

09/11/2025: I loved it! I had the fettuccine with purple shrimp: truly delicious, you can taste the local, high-quality ingredients. The homemade desserts are marvelous: I tried a fantastic hazelnut semifreddo, with a meringue base reminiscent of spumone, the local dessert. The staff were kind and patient. Highly recommended!

30/10/2025: Outstanding local specialties in a spacious, appealing, modern setting, all at a reasonable price for fine dining. Gracious host and varied but not overwhelming menu. Opportunity for those with an appetite (2 or more) to choose between land and sea tasting menus comprised of smaller portions of the four land or sea based entrees on the menu. An opportunity to sample the entire repertoire, essentially. Also good for large groups.

06/09/2025: Ristorante Lilith is one of these place where you arrive and right away feel comfortable, the family owned restaurant just gives you the atmosphere of being at a friends place. The food is amazing and the same goes for the service. They‘re really friendly and professional. I definitely recommend to share as many dishes as possible so you can try more of these amazingly fresh plates where you taste every single ingredient.

14/01/2026: A quiet, well-kept, and welcoming place. I discovered it because of the not-at-all-fake reviews. Excellent, fresh food, short waits. Daniel always finds the best value for everyone. I can guarantee the dishes are generous, even excessively so. He's extremely polite, quick to advise, and honestly, you can trust him. A place like this deserves to be even in more renowned places. I confirm, a place where you eat very well at completely fair prices.

13/10/2025: Excellent restaurant - butcher shop Restaurant specializing in meat (from their own butcher shop). Cute place with outdoor seating available. Excellent cuisine with unique and beautifully presented dishes; we particularly enjoyed the bombette. Excellent service. I recommend booking, especially in high season.

28/02/2026: I made an appointment for my daughter's First Communion. They accepted. Then, just a week before the date, they declined because they had accepted another subsequent appointment, leaving me to resolve the issue in less than a week.

25/01/2026: Discovered by chance through an invitation to spend New Year's Eve lunch, it was truly a discovery of a place where everything is meticulously curated, elegant for its kind, with excellent service, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and top-quality food and wine. It's impossible to say which dish was the best because, having tried a little bit of everything from everyone, I found every dish well-prepared, beautifully presented, and delicious, despite being at a table with a large group. What can I say? I'll be back as soon as possible, even outside of any celebration.

19/12/2025: We went to a bread cooking class: we made focaccia, pizza, everything. But the most important thing was getting to know the people. Many thanks to Federica and Daniele for this unforgettable experience.

08/01/2026: September 2025. We're seated in the garden, but unfortunately, pigeon droppings are falling from the "sky" directly onto the table and glasses. When asked to intervene, the solution offered is a napkin strategically placed on the stains, as if the problem were merely aesthetic. Perhaps we underestimate the hygienic implications of pigeon poop? A surreal and decidedly unreassuring experience.

24/02/2026: A terrible experience at La Vecchia Curte. From the first few minutes, you could feel the total lack of professionalism: confusing organization, inattentive staff, and a less than welcoming attitude. Despite the evening's "pizza tour" theme, the pizzas were always the same, constantly re-presented without any variety. Not to mention that practically nothing arrived at the head of the table, and after several waits, we were forced to specifically request pizzas. Upon request, instead of being offered, I was looked at askance, with an almost challenging expression, as if I was demanding something I wasn't entitled to. A disappointing evening in every way. The only thing that bothered me during the evening was everything... except the pizza. I won't be returning.
