04/06/2025: Just a 0.4l beer to top up my phone by 10%, €9! I think it should be charged, but I felt cheated.

02/06/2025: We had two Machiato coffees and were charged 8 euros. We felt like we were ripped off. I recommend being careful because they take advantage of tourists.

26/06/2025: Highly not recommended!!! 5 Spritz aperitifs served in long, narrow glasses, which not only contained less, but in that little, there was very little Aperol or Campari. All accompanied by a very small bowl of peanuts and a few crisps. At the checkout, after I complained and after I warned them of the negative review I would have written, they made me pay for one less aperitif. Thanks, but here is the review anyway.

15/05/2025: I stopped for lunch at this place and I have to say I was a bit disappointed ... The menu offered the usual sandwiches and piadinas, there were also pizzas but I think they were frozen. It's really a shame because the place has a gazebo overlooking the lake, it is located in the center of Porlezza and the service was very nice. In my opinion if it had something more on the menu like first courses, hamburgers ... it would really be a top place. After all, Porlezza is a tourist and transit place. What a shame!

29/06/2025: Place in Piazza di Santa Maria in Trastevere, always packed especially with tourists, average products and prices, super busy and not very attentive staff

27/06/2025: Hair in the food, animals in the salads, and they became unfriendly when we complained. Bottom line: unfortunately, very disappointing and not worth the money.

11/06/2025: This is pomodoro and mozzarella salad! We sat down thinking it was cheap but this thing is 10 €. Never come here. When I asked if you thought this was a salad, I got the answer that I told you mozzarella. It is never a place where you can get your money's worth, don't come even if you are very hungry.

09/06/2025: The food service was very good, and I was able to enjoy the company of other people, with very good dishes. It's a place that could use a bit of renovation, but the service you receive makes you feel like you're at home.

27/05/2025: Andato con famiglia e gruppo scolastico. All esterno ci sono spazi molto ampi in cui i bambini possono giocare. Ho preso il menu pizza. Antipasto di verdure discreto, poi svariati tipi di pizza devo dire buona compresa la pizza alla nutella finale. L'unica pecca sono stati i tempi di attesa troppo lunghi sicuramente anche dovuti al fatto che eravamo un gruppo di 60 persone. Vino della casa buono.

05/06/2025: Quería probar la comida tradicional romana, y estaba en la zona y eligió este restaurante como leí comentarios favorables en línea. Me senté de inmediato y disfruté del ambiente y el servicio de esta bulliciosa trattoria en un sótano. Elegí el menú de precio fijo de 35 euros que incluía bruschetta al Pomodoro, Carbonara, Saltimbocca alla Romana con Patate al Forno. Esto también incluía agua, vino, pan, postre, un café y creo que licor - por lo que era una gran cantidad de comida y todo lo que pueda querer, excepto una ensalada o verduras. La comida era una buena relación calidad-precio y una buena degustación de platos romanos. Sin embargo, la comida no era de mi gusto. Me gustó la casa de vino blanco, el pan y las patatas de romero. La bruschetta no era como estoy acostumbrado (venía en pan suave con tomates cortados en dados) , la carbonara sabía a grasa crujiente de tocino quemado, y realmente no disfruté de la salsa en el plato de ternera - cada uno de estos platos eran extremadamente salados. Estaba lleno de carbonara y pan y al final me salté el postre y el café. Visité otros restaurantes romanos después de que Vecchia Roma y los platos fueron golpeados y fallados conmigo, así que tal vez este tipo de comida es un gusto adquirido.

28/06/2025: Terrible service, rude, inexperienced and ill-mannered waitresses and waiters, they never come by, you have to ask them for things 3 times and that's not even enough because they don't serve you what you asked for (it was a Wednesday night with very few people), they throw the dishes on the table without asking permission, please, excuse me, rudeness reigns supreme. The pizza is too thin and hard, everything else is frozen. The prices are too high, you almost eat fish. On the bill you always find something extra that you didn't take. I won't go there anymore. Being treated badly, rudely, eating badly and paying a disproportionate bill compared to the quality of the environment and the food. Vote 0 flat

12/07/2025: I walked into Bar Barberini Express expecting courteous service and a quick Spritz, but what I received was anything but. As soon as my friend and I stepped inside and said hello, we were greeted by a truly unpleasant sight: the Asian woman behind the bar, along with two other colleagues, began openly mocking us. As Romans, we know rudeness when we see it, and this was blatant and unacceptable. There's nothing worse than feeling mocked and humiliated in a place that's supposed to be welcoming. Naturally, at that point, we had no choice but to turn around and find another bar. Such behavior is unspeakable and demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. If this is how you treat people, the only advice we have is, as we say in Rome: "For me, then it closes too." Highly discouraged for anyone who doesn't want to ruin their day.

05/07/2025: Wonderful location, with great food and very friendly service, and always with a smile on their face. I was served by a young boy, Flavio, a polite, friendly and competent boy! Highly recommended!

01/06/2025: I went out of curiosity! Unfortunately the fried ones didn't satisfy me, they seemed frozen, the pizza like this didn't satisfy me. The bill wasn't adequate!

04/06/2025: 2 of us, ordered 2 first courses, waited an hour and a half before we were served 40 grams (maybe less) of pasta. Faced with my irritated reaction to the treatment bordering on fraud, the next table applauded and supported me. Others left paying for their drinks without ever receiving their dishes. The person in charge (that's how she was introduced to me) responded to my complaints with an unforgivable antipathy. Strongly discouraged!!!

05/05/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato qui la prima comunione di mia figlia fidandoci dell'ottima recensione avuta da una persona che aveva già festeggiato a Villa Luce altri eventi. Abbiamo fatto bene a fidarci! Cibo ottimo, luogo semplice, accogliente e adatto alle esigenze di grandi e piccini. L'ampio spazio esterno, infatti, permette ai bambini di giocare in totale sicurezza e ai genitori di rilassarsi. Cibo ottimo, ben presentato ma soprattutto genuino perché a km zero. Serena, la proprietaria, è una cuoca sopraffina, con semplicità ed una buona dose di passione per quello che fa riesce ad allietare i palati proponendo piatti ricchi di gusto. Vini buoni e torta squisita oltre che bella! Prezzi onesti così come lo è Serena nel presentare le varie opportunità. Panorama bellissimo in loco ma anche arrivandoci da Roma è possibile ammirare una natura rigogliosa e variegata. Camerieri educati, sorridenti e disponibili ad accogliere le diverse richieste. Unica pecca... è poco pubblicizzato e per questo motivo molte persone non sono a conoscenza dell'esistenza di questo posto meritevolissimo!

05/06/2025: Very clean, convenient to the Vatican City, and the hosts were excellent. If you're looking for a cozy place to stay a few days and tour the area, I highly recommend this one.

03/03/2025: Consola poco unirsi al coro dei bastonati o spennati. Ma ora è chiaro che nonostante la ressa per strada il bar all' interno c'era una abbondante posto con pomposa accoglienza di ben due maggiordomi che suadenti ti fanno accomodare ad un tavolo con al centro un gran mazzo di anemoni freschi ... In compenso 4 cappuci e 4 brioches 44€. Ho lo scontrino! ..... Non ho parole ....
