25/10/2025: CLOSED UNTIL DECEMBER! Infuriating - we trekked across Rome to visit Macro and were met with a sulky woman at the ticket desk who nonchalantly told us that Macro was closed until December. When we pointed out that Google Maps does not say this and suggested that they might want to update it - she hilariously dismissed it as though it was some irrelevant niche little app 🤣🤣🤣. Hopeless and hilarious in equal measure

08/07/2025: ¡Una verdadera experiencia si estás en Roma! Mimmo te trata como a una familia. La comida es excelente. El ambiente es increíble. La decoración es perfecta. Las mesas estaban alineadas afuera y la gente seguía entrando. Fue un final increíble para nuestras vacaciones.

08/07/2025: La comida es insípida y sosa para los precios que se cobran. La pasta está demasiado salada para disimularlo y los productos cárnicos son gomosos. Sin embargo, lo que me motivó a tomarme el esfuerzo de crear una cuenta para escribir esta reseña fue la forma tan grosera en que nos apresuraron y trataron al final de la comida. Nos pidieron que enumeráramos lo que habíamos pedido y nos molestó que no diésemos una respuesta inmediata. Aunque hay varios camareros, en realidad interactuamos con cuatro personas diferentes que tomaban nuestros pedidos de comida y bebida. No parece que tengan una estructura lógica sobre cómo atienden a los clientes o dividen responsabilidades y mesas. Se convierte en un caos la tarea de conseguir que los clientes entren y salgan lo más rápido posible y hay mucha incompetencia por todos lados.

16/07/2025: Ristorante di antica tradizione con tipica cucina romana. Il locale e’ ampio ed accogliente e il vasto parcheggio e’ un punto a favore. Ottimo il pane e la focaccia fatti in casa. Primi abbondanti e gustosi e anche la carne e’ buona. Le patatine fritte possono essere migliorate. Il servizio e’ stato cortese ma un po’ caotico e questo ha causato attese un po’ lunghe. Avremmo gustato volentieri il dolce ma abbiamo rinunciato perché, anche se il locale e’ ben climatizzato, a causa delle bizze di una tavolata di altri avventori il proprietario ha dovuto ridurre la climatizzazione per accontentare le loro insistenti richieste. Assolutamente nessuna responsabilità del proprietario ma con il forte caldo dell’estate romana abbiamo dovuto scegliere di andar via.

10/06/2025: Dall'antipasto al dolce c'è sempre da godere, perché tutto factory made (compreso il pane-pizza). Il mio percorso preferito: tonnarello alla pecorara, maglialino o stinco di vitello al forno, ciambellone alla zucca...e vengo !

21/10/2025: The flavors of the dishes are completely unrelated, the aesthetic is good! The service is ok but not very smiling. The wines are average, the brands are too unknown. The rest of the atmosphere is too minimal. Is it cool in the sense of cold? In short, like the song "Make the Knife." Man is the measure of everything: the philosophy is divided into two parts: Filo and Sofia, that is, love of knowledge, and this is what we expected from a restaurant.

11/10/2025: Great service and lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the dishes didn’t quite meet our expectations. Several of them were not served hot, even though they were clearly intended to be. In addition, a few ingredients felt below the expected quality (e.g. the peach in the dessert and the fish in one of the antipasti), and some of the flavor combinations just didn’t come together for us. Maybe it was simply an off day, but overall the food fell short compared to the otherwise excellent service and ambiance.

03/08/2025: Delicious pizza, friendly staff, a wide selection of sandwiches and pasta, and a decent wine list on display... reasonable, honest prices.

17/07/2025: Bad experience. Lots of money for poor food. Maybe a place to have a drink. But it's very expensive and of very poor quality. The cutting board is mostly coppa with string to unwrap, you almost choke on it. The crostini are awful. We didn't trust them and they left them for €55, stolen. It's better to go to any restaurant.

17/06/2025: The welcoming atmosphere of this place immediately struck me. The service was impeccable, with kind and attentive staff. I really appreciated the selection of craft beers, all of excellent quality. I highly recommend a visit to this pub for a pleasant evening.

31/10/2025: Poor cream puffs. I ordered two cream puffs with zabaglione, and they had cream inside. The cream was awful, so I threw them both away. I don't recommend it.

31/10/2025: I hate to leave negative reviews, but I have to say I've had the worst mignon I've ever eaten here! Absolutely not recommended.

14/10/2025: Nice outdoor spot for a drink with friends. Very basic beverage options with standard spirits. Good location. The place is suitable for aperitifs, dinner, and after-dinner drinks.

10/10/2025: Very disappointing. We waited ages in an empty restaurant while the waitress kept running to the kitchen, clearly not knowing the menu. My veal with asparagus came with chips instead, already cut despite my request. The carbonara was dry, with barely any sauce or meat — completely inedible, we left hungry. Total rip-off, avoid !

29/09/2025: I paid 7 euros for two pulpete with some mash potato. If you're not from here, make sure to ask the price first. The lady was trying to give me 4 meatballs first and then tried to add all kind of vegetables. When I paid, they told me each side was 4 euros and two meatballs 4 € Can you imagine how much they would have charged me if I let them serve the food they were suggesting? It was lunch time and it was full of Italians. Everybody know that Italians dont pay 4€ for each portion of food and the food is not even too good. Don't let them steal your money specially if you're student.

26/10/2025: If I could, I'd give it less than zero, not even one star! Dinner with friends, while eating, my chair completely shattered and I fell to the floor in front of everyone. No one in the restaurant bothered to apologize or ask if I'd hurt myself. In fact, a member of staff approached me and sarcastically added, "These chairs are all breaking." Luckily, it happened to me, and I'm young; I can't imagine if it had happened to an older person. By making this pointless, out-of-place joke, he not only showed complete disinterest in the rather serious incident, but also wanted to joke about it, as if it were nothing special. In fact... with what he said, he even made it clear that it's happened several times before. I told the waiter who served us that I wouldn't be paying for the dinner, but when it came time to get the bill, we simply received €200 instead of €218 (so -€3.60 each). No one cared about anything. I reiterated what had happened to the two gentlemen (one of them was the one who said that) when we got up to pay. I told them when we were paying, and the guy even made a stupid joke, laughing and saying things like "it could always be worse," etc. You guys are shameful! We also had to wait twenty minutes at the entrance to pay because the person handling the matter was laughing and joking, then disappearing, then reappearing... they didn't even take us into consideration at that moment, we had to chase them. We just had to leave, but luckily we're not all as rude as you. Dinner also took a crazy amount of time: 45 minutes for two platters of cured meats and two of cheeses. Think carefully before booking at this place because for them it's normal for a customer to end up on the floor while eating because "these chairs are all breaking."

29/07/2025: A historic venue, beloved by celebrities and everyday people alike. For us in Northern Rome, it's home. Alessandro is a magnificent chef, and Maurizio knows how to welcome guests like no other. I recommend it!

10/09/2025: Delicious, homemade pizza, prepared with passion and heart ☺️, and very affordable prices. The owners are smiling, cheerful, and polite 🙂♥️ I highly recommend it; if we're ever in Rome again, we'll definitely be back. Thank you, mille! 🥰

05/10/2025: The croissants were good, as were the creams. Even the dough for the bomb was good. I expected more butter flavor in the croissant itself.
