29/09/2025: The host's friendliness and the typical atmosphere, a place where you can stop for a chat, are worth five stars. A rare find.

15/09/2025: Passing by, I found a warm welcome and delicious, authentic, home-cooked food! Kudos to the elderly couple who run this place alone! My only complaint would be the cleanliness, which isn't exactly top-notch but still acceptable. First course, water, and dessert, portions sized like truckers' fare: €13 (I don't know how some people say it's expensive!).

21/07/2025: Everything was great! It's hard to say which is better! Highly recommended.

12/07/2025: I've ordered takeout several times, and each time something was missing. The last time, an ingredient was missing, and another time they took the wrong turn, missing the house when it was practically nearby. I strongly advise against ordering the pizzas.

19/10/2025: Attentive service, attentive and friendly staff. A bit of confusion between people and tables when it came to the bill. Quality food. I advise the staff to make sure the desserts are as good as the rest. Welcoming atmosphere, beautiful staircase leading upstairs, perhaps a bit restrictive. Nice counter and exposed grill, I recommend improving the ventilation.

19/10/2025: Excellent dishes, service not up to par, orders forgotten and then made in a hurry and forgetting the crispy sage as indicated on the menu, we were not able to have lunch all together because the second courses arrived first and then the first ones, very beautiful and suggestive location, I recommend improving the service and in any case I recommend a visit to taste good typical dishes.

20/04/2025: Organizziamo a lavoro una cena più o meno 6 coppie,una nostra collega ci dice che a rivalta di Reggio Emilia fanno una pizza squisita e noi le chiediamo di prenotare. Arrivati fuori alla pizzeria parcheggiamo le auto con dei parcheggi difronte dove sono presenti condomini,la sorpresa la troveremo alla fine per questo vi parlo pure dei parcheggi. Entriamo nella pizzeria ci iniziamo a guardare tra noi....pizzeria vecchia,vabbe'magari la pizza sarà buona,ci accomodiamo al momento che viene un ragazzo tutto sudato poverino, ma gli sgocciolava pure il naso,e mostrava evidenti chiazze sotto le ascelle. Prenotiamo tutti oltre al bere le pizze,arrivano dopo circa 55 minuti,uno può pensare ritardo per locale pieno... Quanto mai c'era solo un tavolo da 4 persone e noi,nonostante il ritardo ci comunica che l'impasto verace non lo ha più,quindi altro tempo.... Ecco il momento tanto atteso...le pizze✌️ Il cameriere viene aiutato dal pizzaiolo che alla consegna delle due pizze gli vediamo volare una scaglia dalla bocca che va a finire proprio sulla pizza di una mia collega. Appena appoggia i piatti sul tavolo,guardiamo le pizze e che diamine in 40 anni di vita non ho mai visto una cosa del genere....pizza che sembrava un sottovaso....il mio collega al momento di tagliarla mi dice se sia il caso di prendere il flessibile nel furgone talmente che è dura....sopra ingredienti pochi ma di scarsa qualità,vi direte come fai a saperlo l'avrai mangiata,si purtroppo una fetta e sarà un ricordo che porterò per tutta la mia e lo stesso per i colleghi. A rovinare ancora di più la serata è stata la scoperta che sia la mia che altri miei colleghi ci hanno graffiato la macchina nei parcheggi difronte alla pizzeria,graffi molto evidenti sulle portiere. Fate attenzione io vi ho avvisato. Mi dispiace anche,perché uno può risultare cattivo,ma non lo sarò nei confronti dell'umanità dal momento che li avviso che in questa pizzeria succedono ste cose. Compratele surgelate,credetemi!

22/06/2025: We had dinner at the restaurant booked by chance the night before the Ligabue concert. The location is truly magical, an external courtyard suspended over a moat, nestled between the walls of the Rocca del Boiardo on one side and the colorful houses of the historic center on the other. The menu was excellent! Both the appetizer (very fragrant porcini mushroom tart) and the first courses (the possibility of making a trio of tortelloni that we jumped at). Highly recommended for a romantic dinner but also with friends. A pleasant surprise!

07/09/2025: Excellent fried gnocchi, abundant cured meats and cheeses. The tortelli were delicious. The welcome basket of history was very welcome. Fast and friendly staff. Adequate bill. We'll be back.

27/09/2025: Wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, and traditional dishes revisited with delicacy and flavor. The wine list is very interesting, especially for the sparkling wines, and the bar deserves a special mention. Bravo!

08/06/2025: Excellent restaurant, Excellent service. It is true that in Reggio Emilia and the surrounding area you struggle to find valid alternatives but here you finally find quality, service and peace. Very well-kept location...I recommend both the meat and fish menus. Well done!

19/09/2025: I give the gelato 5 stars because it's really good! What I don't like are the portions. Depending on the woman working the counter, the portion of gelato varies, and that's not good in my opinion. The other day I had a focaccia and the portion was just right... I came back two days later (there was another woman there) and the focaccia was empty, obviously the same price. I recommend standardizing the portions better. I'll try again and then decide whether to change gelato shops or not. I'm adding this part of the review after returning to the gelato shop: kudos to the staff for listening to a suggestion... now everything is perfect!!! Amazing gelato and portions okay...👏👏

05/09/2025: The pizza was way below par. My advice: abandon the idea of ​​having pizza, at least for lunch, since the oven wasn't up to temperature. Stick with the takeaway rotisserie. The tomato sauce was sour and the sauce didn't arrive. If I wanted gnocchi, I would have gone to the bakery. It's true that it only costs €5, but for bread dough, it's not even pizza dough. It's been a minute since they took it out of the oven, and I can use it as a flying saucer. Basically, one bite and then a dud, and I'm very sorry about that.

08/05/2025: Everyone has their own tastes and the bakery of their trust for me 5 stars deserves it try to believe. Then they have outdoor seating in the oldest street of Correggio (via Borgovecchio) precisely for breakfast.

13/07/2025: Thank you, Aunt Carla. From breakfast: with homemade cakes, a sandwich with prosciutto and pecorino cheese, to lunch: tagliatelle, "inimitable" leek tortelli, polenta, wild boar, mushrooms... and afternoon gnocco fritto, with cold cuts. To finish, a selection of homemade liqueurs. MUST TRY. Find some time to visit a place where the food, and Aunt Carla, are authentic, like they used to be. Thanks also to all the staff, especially Alina, a hard worker with the temperament of a great Ukrainian woman.

27/06/2025: I called yesterday to find out if they offered a bivouac service and asked if I could pitch my tent out there. As a response, I received a big curse and the phone hung up in my face, STUNNED. Luckily, I managed to contact the Segheria refuge, who were really helpful and kind.

20/09/2025: The food is good, but if you have to wait from 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM for a dinner, then it's no good. Too bad.
