09/07/2025: One of my all-time favorite places, stunning location, great events... unfortunately, the service has dropped significantly. Besides the incredibly long service times, when you host group aperitifs, the "two trays of pizza worth €200" scam is always around the corner, and just reading a few reviews shows it's not an isolated incident.

05/07/2025: The Catomes Tot was born as a club for seniors but today in the hands of a management of smart and professional guys among whom Cristina stands out, it is perhaps the most beautiful place in Reggio Emilia. Excellent restaurant top quality price ratio, concerts in the park, karaoke, cultural events and a family atmosphere where it is pleasant to meet even every evening. Go there and you will be part of it!

02/05/2025: Con la bella stagione dehors ampio. Vicino al Po... breve passeggiata a piedi. La gentilezza dei titolari fa a gara con l'eccellenza dei primi offerti. Dal gnocco fritto "arredato" di squisitezze ai primi (tortelloni da urlo) che rendono i secondi lontani e solo per stomaci insaziabili. Tornarci è una coccola che ci si regala.

31/05/2025: Good restaurant, the food is of excellent quality, it is not the classic fixed menu where the dishes are already ready, you have to wait a bit because they cook on the spot

18/06/2025: There is little to say, it is a place where you eat well at a fair price, about the family that has been running it for generations you either love it or hate it, trying a plate of tortelli once does not cost a lot, it could be a pleasant comical experience or an environment that you do not like, try it and review it!

08/06/2025: If you want to be quiet in a small square in the city center, I recommend this place. With summer expanse, you can have lunch and/or dinner very quietly and eat very good local dishes. Tried the lambruspritz for the first time, a very original and tasty idea. Quick and fast service. Very friendly staff

30/04/2025: For work I found myself having dinner in Reggio Emilia, while walking I found this place open and willing to prepare dinner at 7pm (other places opened at 7.30pm, but I was hungry...). Service and cost good, food less so.

21/07/2025: I stayed for work from July 15th to 22nd. I can only say the rooms were splendid, both in terms of decor and especially cleanliness. Access to the well-maintained pool. The bar was very nice and fully stocked. But the real highlight was the kindness and courtesy of the Manager/Chef Giuseppe. He was a wonderful person who met all our needs and served us divine food. Highly recommended. ❤️❤️

04/07/2025: First of all, I respect all those who invest, work and question themselves; therefore I will avoid reporting details in bad taste and that could put the structure in difficulty. I also state that I have been sleeping in 4-star hotels for about 30 years. After visiting this structure, the website and the photographer say it is 4 stars, for the rest we are between 2 stars and the b&b. I confirm that the staff present, although willing, is often made up of only one person during the day (who takes care of everything, in fact often no one answers the phone) present throughout the structure (including the bar). As for cleaning, let's not even talk about it; maintenance, cooking, breakfast as well. Everything is made in a low-cost way that in photos is made to look like "luxury" in an attempt to sell it at high prices (they always negotiate on the phone). I repeat, I respect the entrepreneurs but also the customers who spend money without knowing how things really are.

12/04/2025: I'm sorry, but I found the price excessive. 70 euros for 2 people is too much for the area, we ate: 1 entree with a piece of grass and 1 piece of savory pie, 2 first courses each and 1 second course each and a dessert. In the area for the same quantities we have lunch for around 40 euros in total. From the reviews I expected to eat something more typical, such as mutton, but nothing like that. The philosophy behind it is beautiful but the implementation is less so. You cannot pay by debit card.

08/06/2025: Excellent restaurant, Excellent service. It is true that in Reggio Emilia and the surrounding area you struggle to find valid alternatives but here you finally find quality, service and peace. Very well-kept location...I recommend both the meat and fish menus. Well done!

27/05/2025: The best pizza in the province of Reggio, I took a Cotto and a Speck e Mascarpone, very good, light and super stuffed. Excellent prices, view of the Ventasso and the girls in the dining room very kind. We will return often, really a nice discovery, compliments to the guys who run it.

03/06/2025: We were away in 2024, I promised Erik to leave this well-deserved review. In the room you can breathe mountain air, the chef, put to the test, amazed us. The bottles in the evening were excellent, we can say we had more than a good time.

17/05/2025: We stayed in a double room, very large, with new furniture, attention to everything, order and cleanliness. From the window, on the 2nd floor, you could enjoy a vast panorama of lush green mountains, very relaxing.

17/06/2025: Sarà perché? Sarà che il vegano fa bene , sarà che il burro,la panna,il latte di muccaetc.etc.creeranno il loro problemi,i grani antichi sono buoni,profumi eccezionali,ma li devi saper lavorare,non scherziamo,il croissant è buono quando senti i profumi del burro per esempio ed al palato è tutta un' altra musica,focaccia genovese? Ma l'avete mai vista o mangiata? È bassa e unta altrimenti non è focaccia genovese.personalmente esperienza pessima,cappuccio a parte.

05/06/2025: So much disappointment. We wanted to report a poor service, not to belittle but in the hope that you can improve since more than anyone else you know the excellence of customer service when entering this sector. What we saw in Reggio Emilia at "Stria" is still a chaotic environment, too many people behind the counter, desire and rush to end the day, little empathy and hospitality from the staff with new customers, we were not welcomed professionally but with rudeness and after the bill they did not even want to say goodbye, keeping their heads down for the gaff and for too much rigidity in empathy. We asked for a free table inside that was empty and we were not given one, with the Assure that it was rightly booked, even though we had pointed out that we would have stayed 5 minutes, the time for a coffee. The kindness and contact with the customers should justify the experience and considering the medium-high price we expect top service. But not near the entrance door on the stool getting elbowed by those coming and going. The answer was: "there is no room because everything is booked", we stayed outside for another 30 minutes to see who would take the table and in fact no one arrived. Quality in food is not enough if we are treated better at the station bar. Thanks anyway, we will never go back and we certainly will not recommend it. Because in the face of attention to food, there also needs to be great respect and civility for human beings.

04/02/2025: Cibo nella norma ma conto troppo salato. Spendere 54 euro per tre piatti di coniglio con 5/6 patate al forno di numero è esagerato. Due prime, tre secondi, due acque e due caffè sono costati 88 euro.
