We recommend it to everyone, not just for the delicious gelato itself, but for a unique sensory experience, a true joy for the palate. Highly recommended.

I really appreciate the fact (uncommon these days) that the inside dining room doesn't smell like cooking: kudos to you; personally, it's a strong point, also indicative of the care the place takes.

Every time I return, I know I'll eat wonderfully, be welcomed warmly, and expertly guided through my selection of dishes. It's one of those places where you don't just go to eat, but to feel pampered and experience an authentic experience.

01/03/2026: Convenient location; the outdoor seating isn't particularly attractive, but it's practical, as it's directly on the Via Emilia. Outdoor seating is available in the summer. Friendly, helpful, and courteous staff. Traditional Lucanian cuisine with some Emilian options. Good, high-quality food, generous portions. The decor is a bit dated, but that's not out of place; in fact, it gives it a historic feel. The small window overlooking the kitchen also gives it a homey feel. We'll definitely be back to try the other dishes on the menu, which is slightly different from the one published on the website, giving you the opportunity to discover new dishes.

Finally, a vegan-friendly place with fast service and reasonable prices.
Colorful juices, delicious smoothies (I recommend the fitness program).
Delicious and healthy desserts, sugar-free but made with fruit!
What can I say? I recommend trying it because it will become your favorite place! (It was for me.)

19/01/2026: We chose this restaurant for a Sunday lunch with friends after seeing it on a TV show. The place is very elegant, and the interior decor exudes warmth. The staff is knowledgeable, and the food is refined and very tasty, with unique pairings (the artichoke with licorice powder and saffron cream is exquisite!). The portions are just right, and there are a few tastings between courses. Vegetarian options are available. The price isn't cheap, but it's perfect considering the service they provide. Kudos to the entire staff. Recommended!

17/01/2026: If, like me, you're only in Bologna for one night, come to dinner at Vecchia Bottega and fill up on delicious food, excellent wine, and lovely people!
Not knowing what to choose, I ventured a request, which was greeted with a smile. I came for the tagliatelle, and then I ordered a platter, two first courses, and dessert. Everything was excellent, like home-made, but even better because the atmosphere is relaxed and cheerful. Even though I was alone, I felt like I was part of the whole place. The tiramisu is special.
My week of Italian vacation ends beautifully and sweetly!
