Magnificent! We ate Benisismo! From the very beginning, we had a great impression: a wonderful welcome upon our arrival, a well-kept location, elegant but not pretentious... truly great taste! Excellent cuisine and a good selection of wines! Despite the city's hot climate, the temperature was perfect! Beautiful atmosphere: perfect for a dinner for two or a group! (I included photos of the food, but not all the dishes... some were eaten before taking the photo! 😋) 🩷

A true gem in Bologna, and conveniently close to the airport, perfect even if you’re just stopping over for a few hours. The restaurant has a unique, beautifully decorated interior full of character, and the fact that it was packed with locals made it even more special. The menu is small but thoughtfully curated, focusing on local dishes done exceptionally well. We had radicchio salad , the pasta with white ragù, a perfectly cooked steak, a lovely local wine, and the cheesecake. Every single thing we ordered was outstanding. The service was warm, attentive, and excellent throughout. This place was recommended by a local friend, and now we understand why. We can’t wait to come back.

A Bolognese manor house nestled in the countryside, now a little less so, with antique portraits on the walls, candlelight at the tables... the start is top-notch, the menu even more so. All the appetizers are worth trying; the brioche bread with mortadella mousse was my choice. I continued with a classic tagliatelle with ragù, the kind I hadn't had in a while, but the green cannelloni are no exception. Next up is a "modern or new age" cousin of the Bolognese cutlet, which I initially greeted with suspicion but which instead leaves me speechless, starting with the tender, perfectly cooked meat. Finally, a "revisited" version of the rice cake for dessert...let's say with friends to round it out. An excellent evening, topped off with an excellent wine. Always top-notch.
