22/03/2026: A nice and well-kept place, with a pleasant atmosphere that leaves a good first impression. Unfortunately, however, the service was questionable, especially with regard to the person at the cash register.
After a simple joke made in a friendly and unintentionally manner, the response I received was decidedly rude and inappropriate. It's a shame, because the staff's attitude significantly impacts the overall experience.
This lack of friendliness made the experience so negative that it made me reluctant to return. A real shame, because the place has potential.
09/03/2026: In all of Italy I have never heard of the addition of €1.50 PER PERSON to the service charge, after having received a platter with 6 olives, a handful of peanuts and 5 moist and soggy croutons (for 5 people) at the bar to drink a beer, after having asked for explanations to the owner who also responded rudely

21/10/2025: A really great fish restaurant in a great location of Lacco Ameno. The staff are fantastic and really knowledgeable. Help with choices of fish pasta and wine. You have to try the octopus here it is really special.
We actually visited twice.
21/08/2025: We had spaghetti with fresh tomato and scallops with lemon, both tasteless.

15/01/2026: Small but intimate and very cute. It has a TV for sporting events, and soft background music that encourages conversation. Good service, good sandwiches, especially the fried ones. The fries with various toppings are truly excellent.
13/12/2025: I don't like to write negative reviews but waiting almost 40 minutes for a small appetizer consisting of 3 simple croquettes which then arrived not cooked well since the mozzarella inside had not melted at all and a portion of French fries seems really exaggerated I want to point out that we were only 3 tables on the upper side of the restaurant and rightly I was afraid for the arrival of the sandwiches 🤣 too slow review the service a bit my review and only as a recommendation THE SANDWICH WAS VERY GOOD

21/02/2026: Proper pizza, and a big plus for being open late – if you land at night, it’s the perfect spot for a quick food recharge after your journey. A typical, atmospheric place!

01/04/2026: I booked a pastiera for March 30th and they asked for a €5 deposit (thank goodness they settled for so little), but they found it easier to misunderstand and book it three days in advance. They then withheld the deposit, which I therefore lost, and charged me for not picking it up on the day they had scheduled. If they had wanted the €5 as a charitable contribution, I would have given it to them anyway. Terrible experience. I will never go there again and I advise everyone against going there.

Ready-to-drink? €2.50 is way too much for that.
So far, I've always had great experiences on the island. The tourists are dropped off right outside, which is probably why the concept works so well.

20/12/2025: An excellent (though a hair pricey) restaurant right in the thick of Capri Town which serves up fresh pasta and seafood. Be sure to ask if seating is open upstairs to get stellar views of Marina Grande and Naples.

We stopped here for an early afternoon coffee and the coffee was really good.
We also had a couple of mini Babà which were yummy 🤤
Everything is hand made, fresh, and tasty ❤️

04/04/2026: The pizza itself was good. Unfortunately, the capriciosa pizza had almost no ham and mushrooms, looked like a maggarita, and cost €16. We waited quite a while for our order.
09/02/2026: I'm intrigued by the reviews I've read recently. I was in Capri and stopped by the restaurant, only to notice it had been closed since October 25th for the seasonal closure. I don't understand this unnecessary terrorism. I know it and eat there in the summer, and for me it's one of the best in the area.

17/02/2026: A truly disappointing evening.
We booked using a form that outlined the dress code and specifics of the evening, which were not respected at all. Furthermore, we were moved to the bar area (very cold given the constantly opening door) because a birthday reservation had been poorly managed, and hence the first row. The singing dinner experience was completely lost.
BEWARE OF THE BILL.
Besides this: the atmosphere was not select; we left amidst shouting. Although the waiters tried to be polite, it was a far cry from social media marketing.
Intrusive marketing; I strongly recommend avoiding.
08/02/2026: Sofi is a welcoming, friendly place; we were a group of friends. Dinner was sung. It was a lot of fun. The appetizers were excellent, as were the main courses.

25/09/2025: Lovely place, very friendly staff. We only had a glass of wine and two appetizers. Next time we'll try something from their enticing menu. On a very positive note, I lost my wallet inside the restaurant, but found it the next day intact!

This restaurant is a HUGE tourist trap.
No pasta dish is offered for less than €13, most are €15.
€2.50 for a plate.
€2.50 for a 75cl bottle of water.
No menu posted at the entrance to the restaurant.
But above all, the WORST thing is that the portions are ridiculously small.
You'll be hungry by the end of the meal.
A special mention for the pennone with ricotta. There are LITERALLY 3 pasta dishes on the plate.
No goodwill gestures were offered when we pointed this out.
You're a disgrace to your village of Gragnano, where the pasta is so good.
Times are tough, but stop treating people like 6-week-old rabbits.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative.
Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.
