Lunch experience on January 29, 2026: Like many tourists, I imagine, we were just passing through the town of Massa Lubrense. Feeling hungry and needing a lunch break, we found this restaurant. At first, we thought it was closed. But no! Although there were no other customers inside, a man greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in and seated us at a table. It felt strange to be the only customers in what was, after all, a fairly large restaurant. But we're starting to get used to seeing empty places in Campania during the winter. Besides, I imagine they're trying to save a bit on heating costs, because it was a little chilly in the restaurant. But once we got over our initial reservations, we have to admit we had a really great meal! The cheese and tomato appetizer was not only excellent, but also a generous portion, and our gnocchi in tomato sauce was a pure delight and a good size too! Thank you for this lovely lunch break!
