02/11/2025: We reserved a table for two on The Fork and it was definitely worth it. We got 20% off the bill. The owner was very friendly and he gave us little fried pizzas and fish appetisers while we waited for our food. The appetizer we actually ordered with the 5 types of fish was delicious. And the grilled swordfish fillet was the best I’ve ever had. The seafood pasta was also amazing. I would greatly recommend this place for the food, but the atmosphere was also very pleasant. My only criticism would be the coperto being €4.50, but I understand it’s a restaurant on the port of Ischia and that’s just how it is here. Overall great experience.

02/11/2025: Excellent service, fast, very polite (something strange on the island, it must be said that you are a positive rarity in this regard) but the food disappointed me as did another restaurant on the right bank (Emilio I think it's called, it's a pizzeria)... The mushrooms were fresh both in the risotto and in the tagliatelle and we ate, but too much too much oil (which in the risotto then you don't want... you need butter damn it!) so much oil and of the almost transparent kind, so I think it was pomace not pure olive oil... the meat appetizer then the cured meats were wafer-sized, the bread was stale and the fresh sauce for the child in my opinion was made with peeled tomatoes.

18/03/2026: The pizza was good but full of oil and a bit slow. The place was very nice and welcoming, but it was PLENTY of mosquitoes. Excellent and fast service. Recommended.

04/01/2026: Cornetteria Bavaro is a great place for foodies. You can find everything from croissants to sweet treats, including savory options like Margherita pizzas, chips, rustici, and many other flavors. Always well stocked at any time, you'll never run out of choice. Really good, I highly recommend it.

18/12/2025: I often go there for takeout pizza, but I rarely stop to eat it at the restaurant. The pizza is very good and reasonably priced (that doesn't mean the ingredients are of poor quality), but honesty is key. It could use a little updating, but otherwise, it's still my favorite.

15/03/2026: A Margherita ham and mushrooms to go, can you believe me?! It tasted like nothing, and anyway, don't write cooked ham, write cooked shoulder because that's what you put on top of the pizza.

11/10/2025: Spaghetti with zucchini was delicious, and the house special spritz was great too. A lovely serene location for a spot of lunch before taking a dip. Pasta dishes around €20 each.

22/02/2026: I ate at Il Monaco for a celebration, and I must say the experience was disappointing. It had been described as a "substantial" place offering excellent ingredients and traditional dishes, but unfortunately, the reality was quite different. First of all, the appetizer was very basic and subdued: one plate each with two slices of prosciutto, one mozzarella morsel, two zeppole, one ricotta, and a bruschetta with four small pieces of tomato. A bowl of beans was then served, shared among the guests. Overall, the appetizer was unsatisfactory, both in terms of quantity and overall quality: nothing exceptional. We were then served two samples (two spoonfuls each) of first courses: pennette allo scarpariello and pasta with potatoes and provola, both lacking in flavor. The second course, a sore point, consisted of a veal cutlet topped with a slice of cheese and half a cherry tomato, with a side of mushrooms and peas. The food was neither outstanding in flavor nor presentation. The service was also disappointing, as it was sloppy: despite the restaurant being sparsely crowded, no one ever bothered to check the tables, leaving diners with empty water bottles for a long time. It's a shame because the place is nice and has parking, but based on the food I had, I wouldn't return.

28/02/2026: A nice place with a decent wine selection. It's a shame that, for some strange reason, there's no menu of any kind. We then asked the waitress to explain the wines, dishes, and their prices. The request was somewhat annoying. It almost seemed normal not to have a menu and that we were the ones who asked for one. Perhaps Casalnuovo has different laws and regulations; not knowing them, we simply tried to understand what we were ordering. Aside from this, the food was decent and the atmosphere was quiet.

18/01/2026: Armandino's is worth a visit just for the vibe and good food. It's now the place my friends and I go to when we want to treat ourselves to a girly evening with an excellent selection of wines and good food. :)

14/03/2026: We booked for 9 PM, arrived 5 minutes late, and were told we had to vacate the table after 40 minutes. Moral of the story: they didn't even let us have a coffee and practically kicked us out of the place, calling the owner for assistance. Never again, never again. Incredibly rude. Then we leave the place and discover there are two shifts, one at 8 PM and the other at 10 PM. Wow, coming from Florence, we certainly didn't know the shifts, so if you tell me 9 PM on the phone, it's all fine with me. The owner, Re Gold, who's a rapper, probably needs to dedicate himself to music, but it seems to me he's not very good at that either. Assoluto!

24/10/2025: The lady with blond hair at the checkout is unpleasant, as warm as a prison door, the service is catastrophic and the quality of the sea water is dirty because the hotel on the left discharges its waste water into the sea.
