31/07/2025: In five years in Naples, I've only discovered this gem this once. The location is super central, both when departing for the boat and when returning from the boat. But it's already the best restaurant I've been to in these years in Naples, 100% authentic, an uncomplicated list, where only the best of Naples is available. After six days in Ischia, I only ventured for this place's famous traditional Pizza Frita, and what a pizza it was, the tender dough tasting just like the grandmother's of all those blessed enough to have met and tasted it at her beloved home. Moretti beer, as befits a companion. The highlight of the meal, the best Tiramisu in Naples, made live and in full color by the hands of dear Frederica. It's worth coming just for this gift of seeing the Italian dessert made live. A thousand thanks, it was brilliant. I also had the beautiful Nicola spoiling me with the house Amarettos, for which I am eternally grateful. My flight is delayed, but I'm going with a full stomach and soul. Thank you, dear Tratoria Castel Nuovo. I'm already booking for 2026, both for the outward and return journey. Grazie 🫶

13/06/2025: the structure is very beautiful with the possibility of staying for those who wish in cottages surrounded by greenery. Very sunny pool side but with sunbeds and with the possibility of being able to eat something at the bistro.

02/08/2025: We ate at Il Pozzo in Sorrento and ordered a white fish dish and a salmon dish. The fish were very well cooked, fresh, and flavorful; the quality was truly evident. However, the portions of the accompanying salad and mashed potatoes were quite small, which left us feeling a bit short in that regard. The white fish portion was also quite small. The place is pleasant, and the service was decent.

27/07/2025: All interno di marina di stabia Struttura imponente ben tenuta Stato ad una festa , panorama mozzafiato , si vede da napoli a Sorrento tutto il golfo con un iconico squarcio del Vesuvio con sotto lo scoglio di rovigliano che sta veramente vicinissimo, meglio durante il giorno la sera non si gode di contanta vista ....... Abbiamo mangiato pietanze mediocri così come il servizio Esperienza mediocre.............

03/08/2025: We went to Trattoria da Maruzzara in Naples, and honestly, it wasn't a good experience. We ordered prosciutto with burrata, and while it was delicious, the burrata was dry and lacking in any creaminess, which pretty much ruined the dish. We also ordered the parmigiana di melanzane (eggplant lasagna), and it was another disappointment: it arrived cold, had poor flavor, and was overly salty. The accompanying bread was also a disaster: hard and oddly cut, it looked like it was leftover from other tables. In short, a weak and disappointing experience, especially in a city like Naples, where there are so many places with amazing food. This isn't one of them.

09/07/2025: Siamo stati domenica a pranzo con menù fisso 35 euro tutto mare , un ottimo antipasti abbondante poi abbiamo scelto primo piatto sempre molto abbondante e un secondo con il contorno e le bibite , stavamo scoppiando davvero da ripetete al più presto

19/07/2025: Pizzeria La Rosa is a historic pizzeria near Colli di Fontanelle. We've known this place for many years because, when we were young, it was one of our favorites. I returned after many years and must say I was pleasantly surprised (let me start by saying we only had pizza, but the restaurant also offers a nice selection of dishes that we'll try next time): fast service, friendly staff, cloth napkins, tables on the terrace where, especially in the summer and in the evening, you can enjoy a pleasant coolness, delicious pizzas, well-cooked, well-topped, large, with a shallow crust. Overall, a great place (again, as a pizzeria for now). The wine selection is also good, and wine by the glass is available. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend it. The prices are very reasonable, even for the made-to-order pizzas.

30/07/2025: Such a lovely cafe with great people spotting. My mum and I actually ended up coming here twice on a same day; we stopped for espresso and a heavenly nut coffee by the waiters recommendation after our afternoon stroll elsewhere. The nut coffee tasted like Nutella x Tiramisu mixed with coffee - the most delicious thing I've ever tried. After our dinner nearby I suggested for my mum to stop by and it was 8.15pm and we were told the cafe was shutting at 8pm but we could still have one drink 🤩 The hospitality, service and location are top notch!

26/07/2025: This was our first meal when we moved to Italy. Chef Mariella suggested a tasting of local starters that were ALL amazingly tasty and gave a wide variety of options. We then had the onion ravioli with Cacio e Pepe that was AMAZING!!! The service was impeccable, the food was delicious and Chef Mariella and her husband are just wonderful! Cannot recommend enough!!!
