You don't come here to rediscover the comforting dishes of Campania's tradition, nor for a more or less creative reinterpretation: Giuseppe Molaro's project is a clear, personal choice, aiming to lead guests on a journey of ideas, technique, and sensitivity. The format is clear from the start: you choose the tasting menu (10, 12, or 14 courses—Kaze, Nami, Omakase) and trust the chef completely. It's a way of eating that requires a willingness to listen and curiosity, but it rewards you with an experience that will last a lifetime. There's little point in dwelling on a single dish: what matters is the journey as a whole, the logical thread that ties the courses together, the sensations that accumulate over the course of the evening. And that's precisely why the experience, overall, is truly worth the trip. Molaro's work clearly demonstrates study, passion, and a strong desire to share his own personal story. He's a young chef, but evidently mature: there's technique, there's research, but above all, there's a vision that doesn't seek effect at all costs, but rather coherence and depth. Nancy, the dining room manager, makes a decisive contribution to making the experience even more enjoyable. The welcome is warm, spontaneous, never formal, and she manages to be present during service without being intrusive. Furthermore, as a sommelier, she guides the experience with expertise and simplicity, describing the wines and the cellar with clarity and passion, without ever weighing down the moment. The intimate and well-maintained spaces are designed to put you at ease: they're not large, but they're tidy, clean, and consistent with the concept of a restaurant where the focus must be on the dining experience. Ultimately, Contaminazioni is a place where you can feel a genuine project, crafted with professionalism, dedication, and courage. A restaurant that doesn't try to please everyone, but manages to leave a mark on those willing to let themselves be guided. And today, that's by no means a given.

The dishes tell a story that cannot be described in words, but can only be understood by savoring the dishes. A must-try.

28/03/2026: I had the pleasure of hosting both my 30th birthday party and my son's baptism at this beautiful location, and both times the experience was extraordinary. The food was delicious and meticulously prepared, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere elegant and welcoming. I'm also a regular takeout customer and love their pizza, always fragrant and delicious. The prices are slightly higher than average, but they fully reflect the quality and attention that make each experience special and memorable.

18/03/2026: A very charming and quaint pizzeria, the upstairs dining room is lovely with a domed ceiling. The pizzas, both fried and unfried, are truly delicious, made with top-quality local ingredients. The beers are good, and the service is quick and attentive. An important stop on your tour of Naples.

16/03/2026: The pizza is good, but as soon as you sit down, it costs 6 or 7 euros without eating: a €3 cover charge and a €3 small bottle of water, or €3.50 for a small glass Coke. It seems really excessive to me.

24/09/2025: A real insider tip you'll almost want to keep to yourself! The food is fantastic – the menu includes both fish and meat dishes, all freshly prepared. The service is warm, attentive, and thoroughly pleasant. What's especially nice is that it's a family business, and you can tell that right away. A place to feel good, enjoy, and come back. Absolutely recommended!

15/04/2026: We spent a few day at L'Approdo B&B and ate in their restaurant. Toni and Anna are such kind and friendly hosts! The view over the marina from the room and the restaurant are just wonderful, and the sunsets amazing! I highly recommend staying at this quiet little unassuming place. What a nice place to use as a base to explore the Amalfi peninsula and Capri.

14/04/2026: A chic restaurant, but truly delicious. The open kitchens at the entrance—10 stars for that alone—are truly delicious. Perhaps too generous for someone like me who hates leaving food on his plate. I would have tried something else, but a first course is enough for dinner.

14/04/2026: An unsatisfactory experience at Ristorante del Pino. The buffet featured several cold and poorly prepared dishes. The atmosphere was rather chaotic, and the service was not particularly attentive to customers, with poor table management. Considering the quality offered, the price was decidedly high compared to the overall experience. Overall, I don't think the quality/price ratio was adequate.

17/12/2025: I was in Capri in September of this year. I stayed in Capri shortly but I had the most delicious lunch with my good friend here. We wanted a meal while we enjoy the food and you will have the best of both here. Coming into the restaurant we were warmly greeted by the owner Gemma and the waiters were always smiling. They recommended after we enjoy our meal we stay at the Lido there restaurant had attached. It was one of my most fondest memories of the beautiful island of Capri

23/10/2025: The service was impeccable! Everyone was very friendly. We had the ceviche, seafood linguine, fish and chips, and the gemma spritz, they did not disappoint.

09/04/2026: Superb!!! If you’re around and they’re not busy make sure you stop here for food. The atmosphere during lunch or dinner of sitting amongst the lemon orchard is incredible. The staff are great and attentive and most importantly the cooking is phenomenal. Ate here twice in the same day just because it was so good the first time around. Their menu also identified allergens well so if you’re lactose like my wife it makes it very easy to know what you want to order.
