13/04/2025: Historic institution in Ischia, very kind staff and very high quality food. A special note on the croquettes, one of the best I've ever eaten.

16/03/2025: Rotisserie with typical Ischia dishes, such as Ischia rabbit (good but too greasy and immersed in oil) and various vegetables. The main problem was the lack of transparency on prices: when it came to the bill, we noticed discrepancies compared to the menu, with an increase of €2 on the rabbit (€30 instead of €28) and of €0.50-1 on other products. This, combined with the disappointing sausage and the overly greasy rabbit, negatively affected the overall experience with no more than 3 stars. The total bill of €55 for rabbit, vegetables, potatoes, sausage, water and focaccia did not seem justified to us. Positive note: the boy as waiter was very kind and helpful.

14/06/2025: Frankie’s is fabulous! The pizzas were great and the restaurant has a real buzz. We were a family with a baby and my elderly father and the staff were really friendly and accommodating to everyone in our party. Highly recommended when in Sorrento.

12/06/2025: Lots of great pizzas in Sorrento of course but this place is simple and just has absolutely great great food. Has a nice location in the centre , great for a casual meal or a 'pop ' in after a days touristing in the area. Highly recommended .

04/06/2025: I went to this place for lunch on a Saturday and ordered two pizzas: the Attanasio and the Pancetta. After waiting for almost 50 minutes, the pizzas finally arrived, but unfortunately they were definitely burnt on the bottom. Considering the time that had passed and the hunger we had accumulated, we preferred not to ask for them to be remade. In terms of flavor, the pizzas could have been acceptable, but the compromised cooking negatively affected the experience. The wait was excessive, especially considering that the place was not particularly crowded and that one of the reasons we had chosen it was precisely the possibility of sitting down immediately. The prices are in line with the average for the area. However, given the slow service and the problem with the cooking of the pizzas, I am not sure I would return.

24/05/2025: Muy buena pizza, muy buena relación calidad-precio. Esta fue mi pizza favorita que he comido en 4 días en la zona de Nápoles / Sorrento y sin embargo... Era una cuarta parte del precio de uno de los inferiores que tenía anteriormente. Este no es un lugar de lujo decoración sabia, pero honestamente a quién le importa, gran comida gran precio

10/05/2025: I stayed on May 8th 2025 in a superior room on half board. I give the maximum score: very clean room with new and functional furnishings; friendly staff attentive to customer needs; very good dinner with a good choice of first and second courses and excellent cuisine, the restaurant staff also worthy of praise. Highly recommended hotel also considering the price/quality ratio.

16/04/2025: This family owned hotel was a great gem in the Agerola region! Our tour group used the hotel as a base for our adventures on the Amalfi Coast. The meals were delicious and we even had cooking classes. The location was perfect for visiting the many attractions in the area.

15/05/2025: Very interesting place in Ercolano that offers quality cuisine just a few steps from the excavations. We took a tasting menu to try more courses and I must say that we ate dishes of absolute quality in the ingredients, cooked to perfection and also beautiful to look at in the plating. Special mention for the raw and cooked amberjack which was amazing from my point of view. The only slightly negative note is the service which in my opinion is absolutely not up to the standard of this place. The girls are certainly kind but you can see that they have little experience and are unable to take care of the customer as they should in places that apparently aspire to a higher level of catering compared to many other places. Having said that I did not feel like penalizing the review with less than 4/5 because everything was very good and with a quality/price ratio so far really excellent. See you soon.

07/06/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questa locanda sui social e, considerate le diverse recensioni positive, abbiamo deciso di pranzare qui. Una foto all'interno del locale recitava "la vita è troppo breve per mangiare e bere male...." Mi è venuto da pensare "alla faccia!! Detto da voi!". Cominciamo con il fatto che , quando abbiamo riferito di aver prenotato ,ci è stato detto di attendere fuori una donna che ci avrebbe accompagnato al tavolo. Questa donna sembrava non arrivare mai. In realtà era davanti a noi, con la testa china sul tel e non ci calcolava di striscio. Una volta dentro c'è voluta una buona mezz'ora per ordinare (e c'erano si e no 4 tavoli). Un uomo seduto al tavolo di fianco dopo un'ora di attesa aveva deciso di annullare la propria ordinazione. Le pizze giunte al nostro tavolo terribili. Nulla a che vedere con la pizza napoletana. Sembrava di essere in uno di quei ristoranti italiani all'estero che di italiano hanno solo l'insegna. La pizza ' ntretella col cornicione ripieno, di ripieno non aveva nulla. Era totalmente vuoto. La Margherita sembrava di gomma col pomodoro acido. Prezzi per fortuna abbastanza bassi , forse equiparati alla qualità dei prodotti offerti. In sintesi : Da non ritornarci.

02/06/2025: We arrived due tova reccomendation and the food was amazing. We, pizza with abourigine and with mushrooms. It was fantastic. Our only criticbis that people smoke next to you. It is common here andi dont like it.

26/04/2025: Tutto perfetto, dalla qualità delle materie prime utilizzate (insalata di mare freschissima), alla preparazione dei piatti (sia ritorante sia pizzeria), fino al servizio di consegna (puntualissimi e cortesi). Insomma, rapporto qualità/prezzo più che ottimo. La denominazione del posto quanto mai azzeccata: un angolo di paradiso!

08/06/2025: We were scared of entering an empty place on a Sunday night in "Sorrento". Then we understood.... The ortolana pizza: vegetables, just a shadow and my marinara not up to the level of the traditional Neapolitan pizza. We will return when they learn the quality-price ratio. But I have my doubts.

22/05/2025: I usually don't like variations on traditional pizzas but this "Monaca" pleasantly surprised me yesterday. Very good and if it is served with Emanuele's smile it becomes even better! I confess however that the whole atmosphere of the restaurant is joyful and quality. I will return soon. 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛 yellow hearts like the cherry tomatoes of the "Monaca"!

22/05/2025: The pizza here is good, the food is decent but the service is unfortunately lacking. We had to ask for bread and wait a bit even though we had ordered gnocchi alla sorrentina. We asked for two macchiatos and brown sugar. The coffees arrived normal with white sugar that we asked for again and after 5 minutes with the cold coffee they told us that the sugar was finished, too bad that my friend coming back from the toilet heard them say that the sugar was on the ground floor and therefore no one would go and get it. Young, inexperienced and poorly educated guys can worsen the impression you can have of a place. For the rest, everything is fine!
