The food was perfect down to the last detail, carefully prepared and truly delicious. The staff also deserves a special mention: super attentive, friendly, and always available. A place I absolutely recommend and will definitely return to!

13/10/2025: Another strange experience, honestly. We're not used to private beaches, and in this region, 99% of them are taken over by restaurants. So, you expect first-class service, and the truth is, it's not like that. In such a touristy place, they don't speak Spanish or English. "ABSURD." Afterwards, they only had one waiter, who was hardly a waiter. He set the table in five stages, since instead of carrying everything on a tray, he brought us: the tablecloths first and left. After a few minutes, he arrived with the cutlery and left, then the plates, and then the menus. So if you ask about the food, I'll leave it to your amusing conclusion. In short, expensive and bad. Anyway, Italy....

14/08/2025: We had a wonderful experience at Fracatel! The food was absolutely superb — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with the best local ingredients. The service was outstanding: the staff took such good care of us, always kind, attentive, and thoughtful about our needs, never once making us feel rushed or unwelcome. One especially touching moment was when a member of the team celebrated their birthday and kindly shared their homemade cake with us — such a sweet gesture that made us feel like part of the family. A true gem where hospitality and quality go hand in hand. Highly recommended!

Founded in 1960, this classic establishment has nourished generations with the same simple yet powerful recipe, without artifice or pretension, and therein lies its charm. Here, the glitz of trendy spots isn't the goal: the true spirit of the "wagon wheel" pizza is preserved, made with premium ingredients that reflect the bounty of the Vesuvius hills. Vibrant tomatoes, perfectly melted mozzarella, and fresh basil take center stage. As is typical in Naples, the restaurant operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is always packed. With skillful touches of fire, the pizzaiolos shape high-hydration doughs using the classic Neapolitan technique, the slap, stretching the dough to its limits. The result: pizzas overflowing the plate. We tried a prosciutto e funghi and a diavola. This last one could have come straight from Dante's seventh circle of Hell: intensely spicy, fiery, and delicious. The atmosphere is quintessentially Neapolitan: bustling, warm, with fast and attentive waiters who understand that pizza here isn't just food, but culture. Its location, just steps from Central Station, makes it an ideal stop before or after exploring the city or returning from an excursion. There are queues, yes, but also a consensus: the wait is always worth it. Pellone is pure Neapolitan essence: pizza made with skill, tradition, and no frills. If you're looking for the authentic Neapolitan experience in its most genuine form, this is the place for you.

21/09/2025: I had one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had with a restaurant here. I made a reservation the night before through OpenTable (putting my card down as required), only to receive a call the next morning saying they couldn’t actually fit my party. A short while later, they called again to say they *could* accommodate us, but only if we agreed to a $50 per person pre-fixe menu with very limited options. The amount of food described didn’t sound sufficient for a meal, and drinks weren’t even included. When I pushed back, they lowered the price, but also said the portion sizes would shrink accordingly. It felt like they were just trying to see how much money they could squeeze out of me rather than honoring the reservation I had already made. Because they called around noon the day of, I had no time to make other arrangements, and I had already coordinated plans with my entire party. The whole experience came across as unprofessional, manipulative, and stressful and was made even worse by the fact that it happened on my birthday. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

21/09/2025: Truly the perfect neighborhood spot. I used to sit at the bar and have a romaine Caesar and a pizza… now I bring my extended family for a plethora of pasta dishes, pizza, appetizers and more (they are discerning palettes, and Uva Enoteca passed the test!) Would recommend to anyone nearby. They’ll take care of you, and you’ll leave with a belly full of delicious Italian food

22/09/2025: My wife and I ate at this delicious restaurant on Sunday evening, September 21, 2025. The welcome was excellent and friendly. They recommended the catch of the day, and it was an unforgettable taste surprise. The calamari was the best I've ever had. The pizza was excellent. I'm also writing this review to remind myself where to go again. PS. Try the zuppa inglese... simply fantastic.
