E Pronto o Mangia In Napoli

There were three of us. The restaurant was right across from our rental. We ordered two "primi piatti" dishes: pasta with shrimp and calamari. They were very good, with generous portions, €12 each—no complaints, a great choice! I chose "secondi piatti" (second course): fried calamari and shrimp for €12 with a side of fries for €5. Unfortunately, I made a poor choice; they were very, very salty, both the fries and the fried food. Drinks were very reasonably priced: €2 for a bottle of beer and €2 for a Coke. It's worth noting that there was no service charge, which was a nice touch. In conclusion, the pasta was delicious, but the fried food—frozen potatoes—was very salty.

We waited very little to be seated. The place is small and super welcoming. They were quick with their orders and their preparation. The portions were super generous and the food was excellent! Well done, chef Antonio!

Unfortunately order wasn't taken properly. They forgot two peoples meals. Wasn't until we told them that they brought out the order and couldn't find it. We all ate and 2 people had to sit and watch and wait. Didn't even get a proper apology until they came with the receipt and charged us full. We said we should have had a discount and he said no and said he could get us coffee after we said let us speak to the manager. The manager is apparently the chef who couldn't speak any English. She didn't even try to apologise. Food was nothing special and we ate at much better places. I think the authentic vibes in the restaurant is what people are coming here for.

After spending 5–6 hours exploring Pompeii, I arrived in Napoli absolutely starving, and É Pronto ‘O Mangià was exactly what I needed. I took the train into the city and walked over, which made it an easy and very welcome stop after such a long day. I ordered the seafood pasta and fried seafood, and both were excellent — fresh, flavourful, and clearly prepared with care. The pasta was beautifully presented, shaped like a swan, and that thoughtful touch gave the dish a real sense of occasion before I even started eating. What I loved just as much was the atmosphere. The restaurant had a warm, relaxed, and inviting feel that suited Napoli perfectly. It was the kind of place where I could slow down, enjoy the meal, and properly recover after a full day of sightseeing without feeling rushed. Everything felt authentic, unpretentious, and memorable. For me, this was the ideal reward after a long day in Pompeii. A very typical restaurant with fast service. Be aware that the dining room is small and there's often a wait. But it's worth it. The fish is extremely fresh and the pasta is delicious. The portions are generous.

We had seafood pasta and other dishes, and the food was truly excellent - everything tasted very good and the quality was really impressive. The only small thing that was a bit irritating was the service, as while taking our order the waiters were also talking with other people around at the same time, which felt slightly distracting. But overall, the food was definitely super good and worth it. No coperta!

The atmosphere inside was very pleasant and artistic, the staff very friendly and the food delicious. We ended our holiday in the best possible way!
