01/06/2026: We found this restaurant because my girlfriend is celiac and we were looking for menus with gluten-free options. Not only did they have several safe choices for each course, they were also kind enough to save a portion of the tagliolini with shrimp and lemon just for us. The dishes were all very tasty and in adequate quantities for the price. There's a wide selection of wines, including natural ones. An honorable mention for the service, especially for one of the waiters who was very attentive to the needs of those with specific dietary requirements. A wonderful discovery.

15/07/2026: Amazing restaurant! The pizzas were delicious. I had the Lazzarella, and it was honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had and the dough was excellent ! The waiter was super friendly and kind, and the atmosphere was great. I would definitely come back!

05/07/2026: had to take 3 members of staff and 10 minutes of sitting down to take an order, after which waited 40 minutes for no food. unfortunately we had to catch a ferry and had to leave without eating. expecting us to pay and being caught in an argument between staff.

03/07/2026: Excellent food with excellent, attentive service. On our first evening in Meta, we visited this small beach resort with a restaurant below the Alimuri Hotel. We were delighted with the quality, prices, and service. The next day, we returned for lunch. The baked snapper and spaghetti with clams were truly excellent!

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, in a familiar and authentic atmosphere, where you can experience the true flavor of tradition. The cuisine is this trattoria's strong point: dishes prepared with passion, using local products and quality ingredients that enhance the authentic flavors of the land. The menu offered to us was simply excellent. The rich and tasty appetizers were the perfect start to the meal. The two first courses, orecchiette alla Nerano and gnocchi alla Sorrentina, were prepared to perfection: balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and recipes that respect the best Campania tradition. The meat-based main course was particularly appreciated by all the guests: tender, flavorful, and accompanied by a truly special sauce and excellent baked potatoes. To conclude, fresh fruit and a delicious cake made this special day even sweeter. Special thanks go to the owner, Giusy, always present, helpful, and attentive to every detail, and to the excellent chef, who, with her experience and talent, transformed simple ingredients into dishes that truly excite. Thanks to all the staff at Trattoria Barone for helping make such an important day for our family unforgettable. 06/01/2026: I visited this place around a year and a half ago on holiday and it was the most memorable part of my trip, hence why I'm writing this review despite the time that has passed. The atmosphere was amazing with super nice and lively staff, wonderful service and genuinely THE best pizza I've ever eaten in my life!! I think back to it every month or so, definitely go visit this place if you happen to be in the area!
