02/12/2025: Their coniglio all'ischitana (rabbit stew) and parmigiana di melanzane (eggplant parmigiana) blew my mind!
The rabbit stew had the tenderest meat that was moist, perfectly browned and caramelized—they parted from the bones with minimal effort and even came with delicious liver and blood vessel bits attached! The caramelized tomato sauce infused with the meat, innards, bones, sofrito and medley of herbs after stewing and reducing for hours, was perfectly balanced and packed with sweet and delicate umami flavors!
The eggplant parmigiana was so buttery smooth, pillowy and savoury—it literally melted between my tongue and palate with my saliva! 😋

06/02/2026: La Barrique Braceria, on Via Sediviola in Torre del Greco, is a must-visit for lovers of good meat. I visited with friends and had a truly enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, perfect for a dinner with friends. The quality of the meat is excellent, cooked to perfection and enhanced by the grill. The staff is friendly and helpful, always ready to recommend the best cuts. A place where you eat well and want to return.

It's a pity that we discovered it on the third day of our holiday, but since then we haven't missed any opportunity to eat here.
Excellent food, perfect service, pleasant environment.
5 stars is not enough for them.

13/04/2026: The view from the restaurant is stunning. It overlooks the sea and has a beautiful view of the castle. The waiters are helpful and fast. The menu is both printed and digital (no longer a given), and the dishes are good and plentiful. Unfortunately, the anchovies have too much vinegar (you definitely need vinegar, and I like it, but it was way too much), no bread was brought to the table, and the shrimp in my salad were clearly defrosted.

28/03/2026: The staff is friendly, courteous, and competent, with great customer service. Special mention goes to Stefano, who, even with a full dining room, manages to take care of everyone with professionalism.
Beautiful, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent selection of meats and a well-structured menu. The wine list is extensive and comprehensive: the choice to include descriptions is appreciated, although the sommelier is always ready to guide you in your choice.
We will definitely be back.

However, the "recommended" homemade lemonade turned out to be an expensive lesson: €27 for two glasses. Our mistake was not asking the price – but even so, it should be reasonable.
For that price, we would have at least expected it to be served by Paul Bocuse himself.
Conclusion: It's worth doing – but if it's recommended, definitely ask about the price beforehand.
