05/05/2026: I dined at this restaurant last Saturday evening with a group of friends, and it was a truly perfect experience. I discovered it by chance on Valentine's Day and was waiting for the right opportunity to try it: it was absolutely worth it. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the beautifully presented dishes to the quality of the cuisine. The cooked appetizers were a true delight, as were the first courses and dessert: every course was a treat from start to finish. I can only give it 5 stars!

31/05/2026: We chose Antica Trattoria Barone to celebrate our son's First Communion, and we couldn't have made a better choice. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, in a familiar and authentic atmosphere, where you can experience the true flavor of tradition. The cuisine is this trattoria's strong point: dishes prepared with passion, using local products and quality ingredients that enhance the authentic flavors of the land. The menu offered to us was simply excellent. The rich and tasty appetizers were the perfect start to the meal. The two first courses, orecchiette alla Nerano and gnocchi alla Sorrentina, were prepared to perfection: balanced flavors, fresh ingredients, and recipes that respect the best Campania tradition. The meat-based main course was particularly appreciated by all the guests: tender, flavorful, and accompanied by a truly special sauce and excellent baked potatoes. To conclude, fresh fruit and a delicious cake made this special day even sweeter. Special thanks go to the owner, Giusy, always present, helpful, and attentive to every detail, and to the excellent chef, who, with her experience and talent, transformed simple ingredients into dishes that truly excite. 26/05/2026: Nice location but very crowded, lots of communions all in the same room, piano music that was sometimes annoying, lots of dancing and noise, long waits between courses, and not very good food! I don't recommend it!!

01/06/2026: Overall, the place is very nice and well-kept inside. Outside, if it weren't for the ongoing construction, you'd be able to enjoy a beautiful view and a pleasant breeze, even if it weren't for those tiny, skewed tables and those middle-school-sized chairs you have to sit on, which are certainly quite difficult for people of a certain height and stature, as indeed they were. You eat on the sidewalk, having to maneuver around for a bit of space to put your arms and legs. The service is nonexistent; we asked for a glass of water four times until we finally got up to get one ourselves. Two of us ordered a platter, chips, and a couple of soft drinks. They spilled the Coke on us, the chips were full of oil, the bread from the platter was given to someone else, and we had to wait about another half hour and make countless requests to start eating. The ten of us spent €350, which for a bar, let alone a pub, seems decidedly high considering what we ordered (a drink and a sandwich each, plus some chips). We were so angry, we couldn't wait to pay and leave. Afterward, we were so hungry, we had to go get something else to eat.

31/05/2026: Walked past this place and it looked like the ideal spot for an aperitivo. Customers appeared to be enjoying themselves. A table was available and I was seated. Waited, waited, waited. Customers came and went, drinks were delivered, tables were cleaned, new customers arrived, orders were taken. But not mine. After 20 minutes I approached a waiter and asked for a drink. He apologized. Seemed genuine. 10 minutes passed. Snacks were served. Still no drink. Pigeons arrived to attack snacks. Battled determined pigeons. Another 10 minutes passed. Again, no drink. Left. 40 minutes of my vacation wasted. For nothing. Nice view though.

The ingredients are top-quality, and you can taste them from the first bite to the last. The experience is completed by the extremely polite and welcoming wait staff, always attentive to the needs of their customers, capable of making you feel immediately at ease. An ideal place for those who want to eat well without feeling heavy and feel treated with courtesy.

16/05/2026: Wonderful in every way. Ate here a few times on our week in Ischia. Really warm and professional service Delicious food. Spent a day at adjacent lido for a beach day too which we really enjoyed. Again superb welcome and service.

01/05/2026: It's likely that the pressure of the evening on Saturday led to a less-than-ideal result, but they really could have done better in the kitchen. Perhaps they should try again once a week.

02/06/2026: We had a wonderful meal here while visiting Capri. The view of the island was beautiful and made the perfect setting to relax and enjoy lunch. The service was friendly and attentive, the pizza was delicious and the limoncello spritz was incredibly refreshing. Great food, beautiful views, and a wonderful experience overall!

01/06/2026: I asked for the tables next to window but they told me that they are reserved but there was a table that was not writing any reservations on so i asked again for what about this one and dude gone crazy as if i sweared to him with a crazy attitude by saying no table for you just cause me wanting to try my chance to eat with a nice view, just be calm dude be calm no one wants to argue in a holiday

01/02/2026: A real Italian restaurant. Locals come here, so you know you're in good hands. The staff is super friendly and even wanted to take a picture with us. It was wonderful to have a real Naples pizza. It's a small, open pizza kitchen that, by Dutch standards, doesn't look very tidy, but those are often the best restaurants.
