Bar Il Gabbiano In Capri

We had our best lunch in Capri at Il Gabbiano. The waiter recommended a delicious local pasta dish. We also had a lemon cello spritz to start and a beautiful glass of house wine. It is definitely our best meal in Capri and we will be back

Carlo was unforgettable. He had us entertained and making sure we were taken cared of. The food was phenomenal. Chef made a special dish of stuffed meatballs. Ask him for it when you go. He's a constant pleaser. Made me a special dessert with almond cake and I hate almonds. It was so delicious I wanted more. But I had to stop. Capri is always unforgettable. So wonderful we visited twice! This past fall we had the opportunity to stay and tour around Capri for a long weekend and il Gabbiano Capri Bar made it super special and tasty for us. Staying on the island was a special treat and their menu is very good with American and European options that will tantalize your breakfast pallet. In a hurry, don't be enjoy the people watching and tours unload. About 9:00 a.m. this gets really busy because the ships start to dock and people pack the harbor, so arrive early to get a seat. Service was excellent, friendly, and fast. Both times our servers were professional, quick, and spoke English. We enjoyed omelets with salmon and several croissants, chocolate, white chocolate, and pistachio. The fresh squeezed orange juice was super good and the coffee, Italian of course perfect. Take a look at the menu, I've added it here. There's a quick cafe inside too but if you have time, I would recommend grabbing a table and enjoying yourself in Capri Marina.
