03/05/2025: It was a very pleasant surprise! I had lunch here on May 1st and even though it was a holiday they were super quick as well as very courteous. The place is really a cabin, all made of wood. Beautiful.

29/04/2025: Qualità del cibo ottima cucinata egregiamente tutto preparato al momento. Anche i dolci sono da assaggiare assolutamente. Ottimo anche il vino sfuso ( rigorosamente rosso) ed una menzione particolare va al buonissimo amaro del posto. Tra l' altro la cortesia e la simpatia del personale è stata la ciliegina sulla torta! Assolutamente consigliato.

13/05/2025: Pranzo in famiglia: primi piatti linguine al baccalà e fettuccine ai profumi di bosco eccellenti; per secondo grigliata mista con aggiunta di arrosticini che me le so' arsunnat la notte pe quant'ere bbone...... insalata e patatine fritte di contorno .....prezzo onesto, cortesia del personale e possibilità di parcheggiare l'auto in apposito cortile. Quand ca c'arpasse mi ci m'buje n'atra vote.....

13/05/2025: Excellent lunch, the chickpea and saffron soup was fabulous, as was all the house appetizers. The very kind owner also let us taste the fresh broad beans from the garden. An appetizer, two first courses, half a portion of stewed wild boar (after the first courses we wouldn't have been able to finish the second course), a bottle of rosé, water and two coffees, total €61. Too bad we were just passing through, otherwise we would have come back.

13/05/2025: Ottimo pranzo, la zuppa di ceci e zafferano favolosa, come tutto l'antipasto della casa. Proprietaria gentilissima ci ha anche fatto assaggiare le fave fresche dell'orto. Un antipasto, due primi, mezza porzione di cinghiale in umido (dopo i primi non ce l'avremmo fatta a finire anche il secondo) una bottiglia di rosato, acqua e due caffè tot.61€ Peccato essere solo si passaggio altrimenti saremmo tornati.

10/05/2025: Truly memorable dinner for three. We started with simple but tasty bruschetta, and then moved on to three amazing first courses: intense flavours, generous portions and a quality that exceeded all expectations. The two second courses also proved to be up to par, well presented and rich in flavour. All in an incredibly welcoming, refined and warm environment. And the final surprise? The bill: really low compared to the quality of the experience. We will definitely be back!

17/04/2025: Credo che nella vita bisogna provare quel che non si conosce per poter esprimere un pensiero e soprattutto un giudizio..ero scettica per questa esperienza ma ho ascoltato i consigli e anche un po’ di sesto senso…Una cucina che non conoscevo ma che mi ha lasciato sia al palato che negli occhi un’arte che solo chi ama questo lavoro può raffigurare! Dall’antipasto,al dolce..un accostamento di sapori,di vini,di amore ma soprattutto di emozioni… Si..perché pur venendo da una terra di mare,lo chef,ascoltando e sentendo la mia nostalgia,ha fatto sì che nei suoi piatti trovassi un po’ di casa..sono stata benissimo…mi sono sentita come non credevo mi potessi sentire.. A Bruno(cameriere) i miei complimenti..Preparatissimo su ogni singola cosa..attento e molto organizzato..So cosa significa stare in questo settore..e non c’è cosa più bella di vedere un cameriere che ti serva con il sorriso stampato in viso! Ps: Da Calabrese,abituata ad una cucina differente, è stato semplicemente ECCEZIONALE,TUTTO! Un grazie speciale a Raffaele,il migliore chef di Roccaraso!

31/03/2025: We went yesterday for lunch with a group of friends and relatives to celebrate a birthday, from the room to the set table to the food to the service everything was excellent. The guys were kind, professional and attentive to all our needs. The same goes for the owner who satisfied all our requests and even more. To be done again

25/05/2025: We were in this restaurant on Friday, it was a pleasant day, a characteristic restaurant in the historic center of Pettorano, very good food, we had the hot and cold Torchio appetizer, fantastic honey for the cheeses that was offered to us directly from a hive frame, then we ordered a trio of polenta, wild boar with mushrooms in white and 2 sweet pizzelle with pistachio ice cream and a mouse with aurum and chocolate chips, all really good.

25/05/2025: È stata una bella sorpresa, abbiamo preso l'antipasto del Torchio caldi e freddi (fantastico il miele preso da un telaio della arnia), un tris di polenta (ragù, verdure, carne macinata), cinghiale con funghi in bianco, due dolci. Il ristorante è nel centro storico, con parcheggio gratuito, servizio celere e cordiale, l'interno molto caratteristico con un bel torchio.
