Servizio attento e curato, bellissima atmosfera.

11/03/2024: Let's start by saying that you will be faced with something very different from usual. I would say unique in terms of raw materials, combinations, workmanship and taste. Smoked red turnips, grapes, strawberries and rocket, and lentils with hazelnut cream are the best dishes on the tasting menu.
Let's get to the notes that are a little out of tune in my opinion. 1) Price - tasting menu at 210. I believe that in the presence of a raw material with minimal food cost (all plant-based) the research work and processing cannot justify the price (otherwise carnivorous menus or with raw materials of value would be at least double).
2) Quantity - I added 4 dishes to the menu. The quantities are really minimal and I would suggest increasing them. I would suggest increasing the quantity and variety of bread brought to the table.
3) speed of service - for the average of lunches in starred restaurants we went very quickly. I would have expected more information on the research work and preparations.
4)I took wines by the glass. Normal and local wines. 25 euros per glass. An insane price (basically if I had known beforehand I would have gotten the wine pairing for 100 euros). Nobody warned us though.
Would I go back? Yes but not at that price.

In the room you could breathe an air of home with a staff who left nothing to chance. Congratulations for the all-family management and for The collaborators also thank you impeccably and wish you a happy Easter

The kebabs, house specialities, are a real delight for the palate, prepared with skill and top quality ingredients. The wine selection offers a wide choice to accompany each bite with the perfect taste, and the possibility of tasting different grappas adds a touch of refinement to the dining experience. The young and competent staff stands out for its friendliness and preparation, guaranteeing impeccable service.
Polenta is another delight not to be missed, ideal for regenerating after a day on the ski slopes. Ultimately, Osteria Il Cortile is the perfect place to end a day of fun and good food.

10/03/2024: Posto ideale, a gestione familiare, per un pranzo informale ( o cena, soprattutto d' estate se per una serata) con amici. Il personale è attento e cortese, in particolare il proprietario Luciano. I piatti rispettano la tradizione abruzzese e sono abbondanti pur senza trascurare le materie prime. Consigliatissimi i primi e gli antipasti ma solo perché non abbiamo ancora avuto modo di provare le carni, tra l'altro cotte a vista su un invitante braciere (dei vini in bottiglia non possiamo dire molto, piuttosto l'amaro abruzzese a fine pasto o quello alla genziana, a fine pasto, sono un MUST). Infine, il posto è situato in un luogo periferico rispetto al centro, quindi tranquillo e circondato dal verde, con possibilità di parcheggio lungo la strada.
Ci torneremo sicuramente anche quest'anno, come da sette anni a questa parte, da clienti affezionati.
Rapporto qualità - prezzo ottimo.
In tutta sincerità un grande augurio e continuate così.

12/03/2024: I ate here two days ago for dinner, the service was slow, at the table I ate the kebabs first, then after 5 minutes the chicory arrived for my mother and finally after a further 10 minutes the gnocchi arrived which were good and so 'my mother was able to finish eating. If I come to the restaurant with a person and because I like eating in company, otherwise I would eat alone at home, this is to make you understand that the dishes should all come out together because it is tiring to have to watch the person next to you eat. The place is very clean and the quality of the food was good, the kebabs were cooked just right and the quality of the first course was not 5 stars but not even 1 star >> say a 3 star!
10/03/2024: Direi che abbiamo scelto bene per la prima cena del nostro weekend abruzzese. Locale abbastanza ampio e accogliente. Abbiamo mangiato tagliatelle con funghi e tartufo e arrosticini. Tutto molto buono. Birra agricola MALTO LENTO del Molise davvero buona. Prezzi un po’ alti.

19/03/2024: I was pleasantly impressed by this restaurant and perhaps it is the best restaurant in the center of Castel di Sangro, a place managed impeccably thanks to the courtesy of the owners who explained to us all the products they use in the kitchen, high quality raw materials that they appreciated in polenta with sausage ragù (my mother ate polenta with cod) EXCELLENT!! the delicious zeppola and my tiramisu finished in a few minutes was DELICIOUS!!!! very clean place with a large assortment of wines for all occasions!!!! fair bill obviously not fast food

Torneremo…
15/01/2024: Sabato sera siamo stati in 4 al ristorante La lanterna. Non volevamo la pizza ma ci siamo fatti portare una focaccia per sostituire il pane ed è stata buonissima, leggera ma abbiamo divorato anche il pane con farina integrale, semi e cereali. Abbiamo preso delle pallotte per antipasto e le abbiamo trovato tra le migliori se non le migliori che abbiamo mai mangiato: il sugo con le verdure dà un gusto in più alle pallotte. Abbiamo poi preso tre salsicce e scamorza e un’ entrecote con funghi porcini e tartufo servita su pietra lavica: squisita!!! Abbiamo concluso con un dolce al cucchiaio è un bicchierino di genziana . Eravamo in veranda e nonostante il freddo siamo stati benissimo al caldo. Ottima cena

28/01/2024: A real shame, the atmosphere was as nice as last year. But we found a new management of the restaurant, terrible! a very agitated lady who intimidated even the waiters who we already knew from the previous year. Disorder in serving, hostility on his part towards the waiters in front of the diners, chaotic breakfast buffet! nothing was understood. It's a shame because the best memory we had of this place was the restaurant run by a very kind and capable guy.
13/01/2024: The beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant does not match the taste expectations.
Only the vegetable diner is good 🥒, the rest is unfortunately unimaginable. The food seemed frozen, of poor quality..
It doesn't cost the money we paid.
