08/06/2026: I'm in Celano for health reasons. Before being hospitalized, I was curious to try some typical local products, so I searched online for a restaurant. The Locanda della Madonna delle Vigne immediately appeared. Looking at some photos, I was intrigued by the place, so I decided to book. Access to the inn is via a staircase in an alley with a breathtaking view. We were greeted by Mr. Sandro, a very helpful, empathetic, and welcoming person. Sitting at the table, we looked at the à la carte menu, choosing for one an appetizer of mutton skewers with white onion and chickpeas, to say the least 😋 delicious. Then we ordered cured meats and cheeses. I was amazed. 🤩 2 first courses: gnocchi with venison ragù, which were good, but the pappardelle with sausage, saffron, and truffle were a delight for the palate. 😍

Beautiful serving dishes, the cheeses served with fantastic fruit pairings. He delighted us with two cheeses that unfortunately I don't remember the name of, but I will always remember the taste 😍🤩😋😋😋.
All this including coffee and water, €65. Blessed are you for all the delights we received... Thank you, thank you, I will definitely be back.

27/04/2026: Friendly staff, clean and tidy place, including the restrooms. I enjoyed a large cream puff. I emphasize large because there aren't any that size in the city. With one large one, you can make two puffs!!! I recommend this bar-pastry shop for anyone visiting Celano.

13/03/2026: There's a reason it's called "Hotel Paradiso"—it's because the food here is divine! Exceptional hospitality with an aperitif featuring cured meats, followed by a dinner fit for a king with impeccable service! 5 stars aren't enough! From aperitif to dinner to breakfast, it was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended! A must-see for anyone passing through these parts.

Unfortunately, I have to say, I haven't eaten like this in I don't know how long!
I should start by saying I don't think there was a chef in the kitchen.
We sat down with two friends. Among us was a vegetarian, but that didn't seem like a problem from the start, but then...
We ordered a trio of bruschetta and two Neapolitan frittatas! TRIO OF BRUSCHETTE: The dish arrived was truly nonsensical. Three slices of bread that hadn't even seen the grill (Wikipedia: It consists of a slice of stale bread, either grilled or oven-roasted), spread with a canned product.
The two frittatas were delicious!
We ordered three tagliolini with truffle, and here comes the apotheosis. This fresh pasta (not tagliolini) arrived, tossed with the same truffle sauce as the bruschetta.
We went to pay, and the bill was hefty.
I'm a foodie and I always say:
When you eat well, the price doesn't matter.
When you eat badly, you're wasting your money!

Estábamos alojados en su hotel / residencia de al lado, así que esta era la opción obvia para cenar. Y estamos contentos de haberlo hecho.
Un maravilloso y encantador comedor rústico con una gran selección de carnes para elegir detrás de la temperatura - pantallas controladas.
Por supuesto, tenía que tener la carne, y estaban deliciosos. Caliente de la parrilla caliente. La pasta de mi esposa (tiene pasta todos los días) con ragu de cordero se consideró absolutamente perfecta.
El vino a 10€ la botella era, para nosotros acostumbrados a los altos precios del vino, un valor estupendo para la calidad. Este era solo un vino local ordinario... pero era tan suave y lleno de cuerpo. Nuestro servidor (Stefano?) era el mejor! Amable y tan profesional.
No dudaríamos en volver

Vasta scelta nel menu'...noi abbiamo gustato un'ottima carne con abbondanti e variegati antipasti di salumi e formaggi. Ottimi anche i primi.

10/06/2025: Dopo una visita al Castello di Celano, basta scendere a piedi sulla sua destra, guardando la valle e godere della passeggiata dietro le mura dello stesso, ove ci sono diverse attività, ma è da provare assolutamente questo bar che in realtà cucina alla grande e non le solite cose, ma si impegna in proposte locali in chiave moderna, Siamo stati benissimo provatelo, cortesia e sortielsi

Non esiste un menù, e questo non sarebbe un problema se la cucina fosse decente ad un prezzo coerente. Il risultato sono piatti pessimi, tiepidi e dal costo non proporzionato.
18/10/2024: Locale suggestivo,proprietario suggestivo,cibo purtroppo un po' meno.
Peccato perché la location è davvero carina.
