03/05/2025: We found ourselves by chance asking around in Pescasseroli and they told us to go to this pizzeria/restaurant a little outside the town. We took two pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven which were excellent, light = a spectacle, and the owner is also nice and kind.

The menu is really typical and the quality of the products is excellent and you can taste it. Fantastic value for money, I really recommend it if you want to try the typical local cuisine

It was super good, with fresh and genuine ingredients! The environment is pleasant, perfect for relaxing and recharging your energy. The staff are friendly and helpful. 24/04/2025: As a regular visitor to Rocchi I returned to have dinner at the Pozzo. I confirm my opinion, best restaurant on the plateau. Serious cuisine, without truffle concoctions or false sophistication. They cook well, classic, good dishes, based on the raw materials, without cheating and cunning, a pleasant environment, compared to the competition I would say, elegant. This time Abruzzo-style lamb, stewed, splendid. Quality cheeses, cabbage and potato side dishes and sautéed chicory, really well done. They're good, period. Nice, elegant place carved into the rock on the top of Ovindoli but you can park nearby. Highly recommended also for average prices in a place well above average.

31/05/2025: The environment is serene, clean and calm. The decor is very nice, the seats are limited but with enough space to eat comfortably. The dishes are refined, particular and of good quality, they stand out for the bitters and grappas.

11/05/2025: Capitati per caso a Castel del Monte a ora di pranzo, ci siamo fermati qui. Ottimi strozzapreti con funghi porcini, e due secondi di arrosticini e salsicce. Tutto perfetto. Prezzi modici e gentilezza del personale. Per chi capita lì è un must.

15/04/2025: Locale molto luminoso con ampie vetrate in una unica e bella sala. Ottimo servizio. Mi aspettavo una cucina del territorio ed ho trovato proposte un poco anonime. L'antipasto aveva di tipico/locale le pallotte cacio e uova al sugo e un piccolo soufflé con zafferano e tartufo, entrambi ottimi. Per il resto prosciutto, formaggio, ricotta buoni ma non indimenticabili. Di primi abbiamo scelto dei paccheri con baccalà e peperone. Nulla di che, pasta al dente e un accenno di sapore di baccalà. Le scelte dei secondi di limitavano ad un paoo di opzioni di carne e il baccalà in umido, forse perché il giorno successivo era quello di chiusura. Na abbiamo fatto a meno. Per i prezzi non posso dire nulla perché sono stato ospite.
