03/04/2026: I visited this restaurant with a group of friends (there were 11 of us), and overall the food was truly excellent. The amatriciana, in particular, was worth it: tasty, well-made, and definitely recommended. Unfortunately, however, the experience was ruined by the waitress's behavior, who was quite rude. When I simply asked if it was possible to order pasta alla gricia, she responded provocatively: "Who told you we make gricia? You have to read the menu!" Considering there were so many of us at the table and only two menus available, this didn't seem like an appropriate or professional response. I understand that the staff may be under pressure, but respect for customers should always be a priority, especially those who are paying for the service. In short: the cuisine gets a thumbs up, but the service needs improvement. A little more kindness would really make a difference.

14/12/2025: A quiet and welcoming place, where diners can engage in conversation. Authentic and plentiful food, prepared in a traditional manner. The staff is friendly and helpful. An absolutely positive review; the cuisine is superior to that offered in other "similar" restaurants near L'Aquila. To get there, be careful not to take the shortest route indicated by various navigation systems. You risk finding yourself stuck with your car in a narrow alley in the old town.

29/03/2026: A lovely and welcoming place. Bianca and Iris welcomed us with a smile and were kind and helpful throughout the service. We had two first courses, one with L'Aquila sauce, mushrooms, sausage, and saffron. The saffron flavor was clearly evident, the sausage was very delicate and brought out the flavor of the mushrooms. The other first course was with gorgonzola and walnuts, which was equally delicious! Perfect quality, quantity, and price! Congratulations, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything 😊

08/04/2026: As a vegan for over ten years, I know how difficult it is to find truly inclusive and well-prepared omnivorous restaurants. Often, you have to settle, but this place was a wonderful exception. For Easter lunch, I found a surprising vegan menu, one that remained true to tradition without sacrificing creativity. The dishes were an explosion of colors and aromas, meticulously crafted and anything but ordinary. What makes this place special is the hospitality: the staff is incredibly kind, but it's the owner who makes the difference. He's extremely attentive, open, and knowledgeable, and deeply understands the meaning of a diverse diet and doesn't treat it as a simple "substitution." Feeling welcomed and valued on an equal footing with all the other guests is not a given. I will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, especially those seeking cuisine that combines ethics and tradition.

06/04/2026: This functional B&B is located along State Road 17. It has spacious rooms. Next door is an excellent restaurant, run primarily by Emanuele, who uses his grandmother's recipes. We also tried the shop, which serves excellent cheese arancini and a wide selection of wines.

Several weeks later, we're still receiving compliments on the ceremony, but especially on the impeccable organization, excellent food, and professionalism of the staff. 13/10/2025: A beautiful civil wedding celebrated in the green area below the historic residence. The interior room where we had lunch was well-maintained, clean, and accessible. The area where we had the dessert buffet was also beautiful. I recommend a light jacket because the temperature drops after sunset, given the presence of a stream (civil wedding at the end of September).

18/03/2026: A restaurant in the historic center of L'Aquila, just steps from the Piazza del Duomo. You might even find a parking spot nearby. The staff is very welcoming, helpful, and friendly. Excellent, high-quality local dishes. The house wine is also good. The waitress will often suggest a new, fresh dish, not on the menu. Very fair prices. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent after a mountain outing, but also perfect for lunch or dinner. The appetizers are delicious; fried pecorino is my favorite. The first courses are exceptional: handmade ravioli, gnocchi, and pappardelle with ancient grains. The second courses are excellent, with excellent meats, especially the tender stew and the sliced ​​steak with porcini mushrooms and must. The wine selection is excellent. A place I always love to return to, feeling right at home, and I highly recommend it to anyone passing through the area.
