28/08/2025: Fabulous! I've been several times and always love returning. The atmosphere is elegant, the staff is friendly and professional. Excellent ingredients, well-balanced and tasty dishes. Excellent wine list. Highly recommended.

Ambienti molto lineari e ben organizzati , dove il Personale di Sala 🤵🏾 si muove molto velocemente e secondo i crismi del Galateo ! I Gestori al riguardo sono molto esigenti ed alche con la Clientela ( anche quella conosciuta ) di mostrano prodighi di “ consigli culinari “ finalizzati a gustare al meglio i Piatti del giorno …. Noi abbiamo preso la 🐑 Coratella di agnello 🐑 perché - per chi piace - è un bocconcino niente male ! Per dolce 🍰 poi …. , abbiamo ordinato della “ Sbrisolona “ ricoperta con crema chantilly ! Cos’altro da aggiungere ? È una Location già conosciuta e dove ci fa sempre molto piacere ritornare ….

22/08/2025: Beautiful place, with plenty of outdoor space, a very summery venue, and a basement dining area. Friendly and professional staff, delicious arrosticini, and first courses, the ragù needs improvement... Perhaps they should call it Abruzzese ragù... Desserts: well, the tiramisu wasn't anything special. The bruschetta was large, but there could be improvement in both the aesthetics and presentation, as well as the choice of ingredients.

19/08/2025: Country kitchen with the best food. You can see why they are so popular! Whether you get pizza or pasta, it’s all delicious. Their chicoria side dish is a favorite of mine. Don’t miss their desserts!

09/09/2025: A wonderful surprise that we will definitely have the pleasure of savoring again. I ate a simple tagliata that I hadn't been able to enjoy for years, tender, delicious, perfect. It might seem strange, but it was true. Even the owner was a little surprised when I complimented him. And the Angus skewers??? Another wonderful surprise, wonderful! But the highlight is the grandmother... a delicate, cheerful lady, a wonderful conversationalist who captured our attention with her wonderful tales of L'Aquila's history, and our palates with the art of her cuisine. L'Aquila is a wonderful city that we love deeply, and where we never tire of returning! And we also met two notable VIPs at this restaurant and shared a few hours of wonderful conversation with them. The prices are very fair!! Thank you!! It's rare to find a place that combines so many characteristics together.!!

17/08/2025: A place suitable for ceremonies, with a large garden, swimming pool, and an elegant interior. Outside, there is an amusement park for children, making it suitable for spending a day with the whole family... Good food, friendly staff.

29/06/2025: This morning we tried the wellness program in the new and beautiful SPA, what can I say ... wonderful, relaxing, an experience to repeat. After the program we stayed for lunch, excellent dishes and helpful and very kind staff. Highly recommended 👍🏼

19/08/2025: Excellent food and value. The dishes use top-quality ingredients. The wine list is good, though not particularly extensive, which isn't a problem at all, but makes choosing easier. The staff is very kind and friendly. The experience is worth repeating.

05/08/2025: Very pleasant and quiet atmosphere behind the castle. We sat outside on a panoramic terrace. The food was delicious. It's a shame about the service... extremely slow!

23/08/2025: This is our second time here, and we had a wonderful time once again. The Abruzzese cuisine is top-quality, with generous portions and reasonable prices, all in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.

22/08/2025: The cheese platter with "i caci del parco" cheeses was delicious, truly special and delicious. If you like strong cheese flavors, you can't miss this appetizer. The first courses we ordered were simple and delicious. The owner and the head waiter were really kind. We spent around 60 euros, including wine. Highly recommended! 👍

09/08/2025: Absolutely fantastic Carbonara. I love that you can get it in different portion sizes too. Sadly only managed the normal one but determined to return after a hike and go for a bigger plate. Very high quality food and very friendly service. Highly recommended.

23/06/2025: We celebrated our wedding at Cartiera del Vetojo and we are very happy with our choice. Luca was available at all times from start to finish, meeting our wishes. The organization was impeccable. Excellent lunch and location surrounded by nature. We highly recommend it!

11/08/2025: If I could give the service a sixth star, I would gladly do so. We were treated with care and attention from the very beginning by Piero, a wonderful person. Another pleasant surprise was Luigi's cuisine, which delighted us both at breakfast and dinner. What can I say? With such attention to guests, even the small and normal imperfections of the hotel go completely unnoticed... thank you for everything.

02/08/2025: Mr. Piero was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to offer advice and fulfill requests. Kudos also to chef Luigi, who delighted us every evening with delicious, varied, simple, and authentic dishes. The hotel was simple, clean, and comfortable. Giacomina the bear, who even walked by our window one night, was a real treat.

24/08/2025: We went for lunch and it wasn't possible to have the red polenta and gnocchi with sauce included on the menu... we ordered two mixed roasts for €18 each, a paltry portion, and the lamb was missing, replaced with artistic ones. The pork was undercooked. We didn't like it.

24/08/2025: We went for dinner to enjoy supplì and pizza, and the quality of the food was excellent! Crispy and dry fried food, very good and digestible pizza dough, and plenty of fresh and tasty toppings. The place is also pleasant and welcoming, surrounded by greenery. It was just a little noisy, but it was August, so it was a very touristy time.
