05/03/2025: Run by a young couple from Sulmona, nice and kind. Quality food, don't miss the fried pizza topped with tasty and refined ingredients. The ricotta ravioli and pappardelle are also excellent. Prices slightly higher than the average for Abruzzo restaurants, but it's worth it.

12/02/2025: We dined in, food was excellent as well as the service and the atmosphere. They had a huge selection of pizzas to chose from. We enjoyed a pizza, an order of pasta, an entre and dessert it was one of my favorite meals of the trip. The tiramisu was otherworldly!!!!The waitress was very kind and patient! Would highly recommend and hope to visit again soon

03/03/2025: Excellent place for an outdoor aperitif or for lunch/dinner indoors. Very welcoming and well managed by the staff, the service was fast and very courteous We ate some delicious first courses 😋 The cold cuts and cheese platter, however, are not up to par Honest prices I recommend it and will return as soon as possible

02/03/2025: Imagine to bring kids in a typical mountain building, with wooden furniture, warm inside and it starts snowing.. the atmosphere you can get at this chalet is magic, and your family will love it. The food is good, we tried some tradition dishes, like pasta with deer ragout, gnocchi with pumpkin, and melted cheese with truffles. There is a very good selection of beers and wines. To finish a good bitter liquor. The service is very friendly, the restaurant is run by a family, and they make you feel part of it. The price is right.

23/02/2025: It's always a pleasure to return to this place with its rustic and welcoming atmosphere! The cuisine is homemade and well prepared, while the portions are very generous. Prices are absolutely low when compared to quality and quantity. I highly recommend it!

21/12/2024: We ate very well, the service knows how to put you at ease and advise you. Generous portions and good food. We took a mixed appetizer from Camilla, a gnocchi with pistachios and a pasta and potatoes with provola. A mixed grill with side dishes and desserts. The price is in line with what we got, not cheap but fair. Advised.

29/03/2025: E sempre un pezzetto di Paradiso! Non ti delude mai questo angolo nel cuore di Pescasseroli. Entri accolto dall'atmosfera di un tempio dei sapori .Mi chiedo ogni volta com'è possibile che non si sentano mai gli odori dei cibi ed ogni piatto che assaggi ti inebria di profumo.E' un altro dei tanti sorprendenti segreti delle due alchimiste dei sapori: le incredibili sorelle che hanno nelle loro mani ,con tanta naturalezza,un'arte antica rivisitata dalla loro fantasia. In sala la direttrice con la sua voce morbida mantiene silenzioso e rilassante l'ambiente e ti racconta con tale poesia i vini da lei scelti che neanche un astemio resiste. Anche il cameriere è garbato e professionale. una serata sempre perfetta ,direi terapeutica .Il tutto condito dai loro sorrisi.

24/03/2025: Questo è un posto perfetto per tutte le occasioni . Atmosfera calda ,accogliente Incredibilmente senza confusione grazie ai tavoli ben distanziati e al garbo della direttrice di sala che parla con un piacevole tono chiaro e soffice . Venendo dai chiassosi e insopportabili ormai ristoranti romani , sembra di bere 10 gocce di Valium L'esperienza del cibo è ormai famosa che forse non ci sono piu parole per descriverla .... sapori tradizionali sfumati di modernita . Vini locali scelti con cura accompagnano il menu grazie ad Assunta Le cuoche strepitose sono il simbolo di competenza professionale e doti umane Anche il cameriere di sala è attento e pronto a seguire ogni richiesta Che dire di piu? È assolutamente da sperimentare

21/02/2025: I had dinner with my wife and daughter and we were thrilled!! A true Trattoria worthy of its name! We had dinner with homemade pasta with a sauce worthy of having to make the slipper. Even the second course of mixed roast with carter style potatoes and cooked vegetables was nothing short of a delight! Compliments to the hostess who also stopped by to make sure everything was to our taste. Locals will already know it but for those like us who were passing through it really deserves a stop!

17/03/2025: Restaurant recommended by a colleague from L'Aquila. Very nice place with quick and friendly service. The quality of the products is very high and the plants are cooked to perfection. Very abundant and delicious dishes. The dishes with truffles and desserts are highly recommended. Passed with top marks

08/02/2025: Le portate sono state tutte eccellenti: saporite e abbondanti. Abbiamo preso il tagliere di formaggi, la polenta, la verza con patate e la crema catalana. Sapori casalinghi e genuini. Personale molto cordiale e sorridente. I prezzi sono contenuti, anche considerando la qualità dei prodotti. Assolutamente consigliato!

17/03/2025: We tasted their starter and two first courses, risotto with peppers and cocoa pasta with wild boar.. Starter below average both in terms of abundance and taste, the best thing was the jam made by the lady.. As for the first courses, as can also be seen from the photo, the pasta was practically pasta with a simple sauce, 2 small pieces of wild boar and almost no flavour... the association with cocoa was certainly a good idea but unfortunately the taste was totally absent... Overall I don't recommend it

11/03/2025: This place in Castel di Sangro was a pleasant discovery. Beautiful location, extremely competent and polite dining room staff. Special mention for the menu of the day, with a mouth-watering polenta with broccoli, sausage and scamorza. Obviously the typical Abruzzo kebabs cannot be missing. Good price level.
