I had never been to this place and I was immediately attracted by the location... next to a small river and in full sun.
It was Sunday... I didn't want to find an alternative and we went in.
Kind and affable staff... well-set tables with generous seating space.
We enjoyed great food and really appreciated the sound advice.
Not only were our dishes beautiful and refined, those of the neighbors were also appetizing.
For the bill, in the norm for the type of restaurant and quality I can recommend the stop 😃 ... valid in everything
23/01/2024: I was here on a Sunday, excellent quality food and a very nice and particular location, the only "flaw" is the service, a little confusing, but still the dishes arrived in the right time. I would definitely stay here again.

01/01/2024: We spent 2 days around New Year's Eve in this hotel restaurant with family and friends. It was a beautiful experience. Excellent food! The New Year's Eve dinner exceeded all expectations. Beautiful and fun music, cheerful, friendly and very kind owner as well as all the staff. Tagliacozzo a pleasant surprise! Super recommended.
01/01/2024: Abbiamo trascorso 2 giorni a cavallo di capodanno in questo hotel ristorante con famiglia e amici . È stata un’esperienza bellissima. Cibo ottimo! Il cenone di capodanno ha superato ogni aspettativa. Musica bellissima e divertente , proprietario allegro, simpatico e gentilissimo così come tutto il personale. Tagliacozzo una piacevole sorpresa! Super consigliato

14/03/2024: I remembered an old rustic trattoria and instead I find myself in an elegant restaurant with a pleasant mix of ancient and modern. Although the menu is mostly meat-based, there are options for those who don't eat it, such as excellent ricotta and spinach ravioli and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms.
The scamorza are perfect, two strung on a skewer and cooked by the owner in the beautiful corner fireplace that characterizes the main room.
There is certainly great care in choosing the products. A place to definitely return to also enjoy the cheeses that are the protagonists of a succulent platter.
For those who prefer quality to a ton of banality.
Bonus spotless bathroom.

06/03/2024: we had never been to this restaurant and we left satisfied - the food is excellent: excellent grilled lamb and quality ragù - the only flaw is the coffee but it is not easy to find a blend that satisfies those who, like me, prefer it bitter

30/03/2024: Definitely the best restaurant in Tagliacozzo, both in terms of location, in the beautiful obelisk square, and in terms of traditional Abruzzo cuisine. I couldn't choose among the things to recommend: the starters are exceptional, especially the cheese and ova balls. The former are unforgettable and the latter equally. The steak is excellent, cooked perfectly. The next day we returned for the pizza and it was truly top notch.
Clean, elegant place and quick service. Congratulations to Andrea and Massimo for their professionalism and hospitality.
Highly recommended, an experience not to be missed.
If you go to Tagliacozzo after seeing a wonderful place this is the right culinary conclusion.

10/12/2023: Trattoria with undoubtedly homemade food but not at all up to expectations. The location is also not very attractive. The only positive side was the courtesy and kindness of the staff. Another positive note: they accept dogs.

24/11/2023: Entrati per caso dopo una passeggiata nella vicina Villa Gregoriana, il ristorantino è piccolo (solo 6/7 coperti), accogliente, rustico e familiare.
La persona che ci ha servito è stata cortese, il cibo abbondante: abbiamo preso gricia ed amatriciana, entrambe con tante guanciale croccante, e per secondo uno spezzatino di patate con contorno di verza, buonissima.
Conto onesto, consigliato

02/01/2024: Delicious and varied appetizer which is much more than a simple Italian appetizer and also includes hot and fried dishes with a very light and crunchy batter.
As a first course we tasted the fettuccine with an excellent ragù and the handmade ravioli seasoned with a delicate saffron sauce that was mouth-watering. There was also the opportunity to taste the polenta.
The meat cooked on the grill or otherwise is also excellent. Onofrio then delighted us with his homemade liqueurs: gentian, anise, fennel. Franca instead let us taste the homemade red/white wine donuts.
Excellent hospitality, it was like feeling at home. We stopped to chat with the owners who were very kind in giving us the directions we needed.

The meat was tender, succulent, I had the grilled one but I don't know if it was grilled or grilled. For the delicious first courses, I recommend the Abruzzo lasagna... spectacular!
18/02/2024: Quiet evening, spent in pleasant company. We enjoyed some fried appetizers, which were delicious. The supplì are superb, certainly made by them in the old fashioned way, with professional sauce and lots of mozzarella. The french fries were delicious. The kebabs are good but too expensive, and the pizza is barely adequate. The pinsa, however, was very good. The price a little above average. All in all, however, I can say that overall I liked it, nothing exciting but good. Recommended for an alternative evening

16/01/2024: Eravamo in due, abbiamo ordinato 20 arrosticini classici e una porzione (8) di quelli al fegato, che ci hanno portato accompagnati da delle bruschette all'olio. Tutto veramente buono. I prezzi sono accessibili e i proprietari e il personale sono molto gentili. Bisogna tenere a mente che il posto fa soltanto arrosticini, ma nonostante questo le portate saziano e il posto è ottimo per una cena leggera e senza impegno.

05/01/2024: Dopo esserci andata più di una volta recensiamo questo posto. A parte la cortesia del personale. Il menù è fisso e più o meno sempre uguale. Antipasto (salame, prosciutto, coppa e cacciatorino. Ceci, Coratella e Patate arrosto) Due primi (Fettuccine con porcini e salsa di tartufo, Ravioli con ricotta o Lasagne) Pasta fatta in casa di buona consistenza con semplice sugo di pomodoro. Arrosto misto (Salciccia, Bracioletta, Pollo e Patate al forno) La carne è tenera. Ultimo dolce, sorpresa; ciambelle fritte, una chicca. Vino (bevibile) Acqua frizzante e no (demineralizzata) Caffe. 20,00€ che vuoi di più. Cucina semplice, abbondante il giusto. In verità tutte le volte qualcosa l'abbiamo portato via. Telefonare con largo anticipo.
12/11/2023: 12 Novembre 2023 mi trovo con la mia famiglia ha pranzo ,mi e stato consigliato e devo dire che è ottimo lo consiglio vivamente ottima cucina il personale è fantastico,la padrona del ristorante e una signora veramente accogliente, sembra di essere in famiglia,lo consiglio al 100%
