I think this must have been the BEST food we had on our vacation in italy. Authentic, friendly and cozy. We came for a quick lunch spot and experienced mouthwatering pasta and the warmest hospitality - bookmarked to come back.

Really lovely restaurant! The owners were so warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, highlights were the freshly made warm bread, fettuccine porcini, arrosto misto (with delicious arrosticini!), verdure contorni which was fresh chicory, and finishing off with homemade tiramisu. Having no formal menu was a fun experience and special way to connect with the owner! For those driving, their onsite parking lot made it stress-free to visit, too. Delicious food and amazing hospitality makes this a must-visit every time in the region!

We were welcomed by Massimo, a very pleasant and professional person. We were treated to a truly tasty and appetizing selection of appetizers. Two first courses, one with pistachios and the other with porcini mushrooms. A round of roast lamb, cooked so expertly that we tasted it grilled. I highly recommend a stop. A very beautiful place with a fireplace.

January 26. A historic restaurant, one of the few that has managed to combine traditional dishes with evolving cuisines. A family atmosphere, starting with the fireplace in the dining room, and friendly staff. Recommended.

03/05/2026: A charming osteria in the city center, with a beautiful park in front. The atmosphere is secluded and peaceful, the service attentive, and the food excellent. The prices are also fair. In particular, the arrosticini and fried lamb were delicious, and the homemade pasta was excellent!

Forma Contemporary Restaurant

26/04/2026: Hands down one of the best dinners I’ve ever had in Italy. You can have 6 courses of your own choice for 60 euros (mind you: not a fixed menu, and you get to choose whatever from the menu you’d like - that’s great service). We had a lovely tartare and asparagus as antipasti, duck ravioli as primo and two secondi: Lamb and cow. All of it was beautifully served, and all of the dishes were wonderfully balanced. The owner has worked in some of Copenhagen’s top restaurants - and it shows - while all of the dishes still manage to feel both local and authentically Italian. Thank you for this great experience. We will definitely be back if we ever find ourselves in Abruzzo again.
22/02/2026: Everything was excellent ✨ The vegetarian menu was incredibly good, and what about the kombucha? I think it was one of the best I've tried so far. We'll be back to try other good things.
