11/01/2026: The dishes were truly delicious, especially the arrosticini, which were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The quality of the cuisine is definitely worth a visit. Service, however, was a bit slow, especially during busy periods. Overall, a positive experience, with some room for improvement in the service.
03/01/2026: We'd like to report an incident that occurred at the restaurant today. We ordered four dishes, but only two were served. The other two never arrived, and two people were left without food. The situation was reported immediately, but has not been resolved. We're leaving this message as a report only.

The atmosphere was nice, but the welcome wasn't the best. The wait for the dishes was long, and the quality of the food was questionable. The appetizers were fine, but the bruschetta bread was stale. The pasta for the first courses was lukewarm and chewy, almost like it had been reheated, and the only vegetables available were bland and unseasoned. Regarding the quality/price ratio, the bill we paid was excessive.
11/01/2026: We had lunch while passing through Celano and stopped at this characteristic local restaurant. The staff were very friendly and the cuisine was classic and impeccable. I can confidently say I ate the best arrosticini of my life. Try it and believe it!

11/10/2025: This is my third time in the area for work and I've stayed at this hotel.
Very centrally located, the rooms are clean and quiet, and the owner is wonderful. It's a shame that after COVID, I was told, they no longer offer food.
10/09/2025: A very welcoming property, strategically located for exploring the Abruzzo hinterland, just steps from the highway exit. Very clean, spacious and bright rooms with exceptional fixtures, and free on-site parking with independent management (we parked four motorcycles and were provided with the gate key at no extra cost). The included breakfast was rich and plentiful, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. A truly pleasant stay. We'll definitely do it again! 👍

20/08/2025: A pleasant discovery. We stopped by chance one evening and returned two days later with friends. The owner is kind, professional, and friendly, and the menu is delicious. It's also suitable for families, as they have high chairs and dishes suitable for little ones.

09/12/2025: Whether passing through the industrial area or heading elsewhere, it's worth a pleasant stop.
The croissant and cappuccino were excellent, but everything we ordered was delicious, including the pastries.
We'll definitely return, but it's a shame it's so far away.

17/01/2026: Nine of us had lunch here. The potato croquettes were cooked on the outside but raw on the inside. The staff was inexperienced. Tiramisu was definitely not recommended (like the gentian one). The pasta was overcooked and the carpaccio was frozen and tasteless.
If you want to eat here, get Montepulciano red wine and really good arrosticini.

Excellent selection, especially the first courses; we chose the white lasagna with mozzarella, speck, and artichokes, it was tops! 😋 The owner was incredibly friendly, excellent value, and generous portions! Highly recommended!

13/02/2026: We had dinner at Locanda Medievale and were truly thrilled with the experience.
We ordered a sliced beef with Colonnata lard, simply delicious; tagliatelle with wild boar cooked in wine, rich in flavor and perfectly prepared; and the famous arrosticini, truly exceptional.
Everything was excellent, and the quality/price ratio was surprisingly good. Special thanks to Alessia, extremely kind and professional, who served us with great courtesy, also explaining local customs and traditions, making the evening even more enjoyable.
The location perfectly reflects its name: an evocative atmosphere with attention to detail that evokes medieval charm.
We will definitely be back! Highly recommended.
