04/09/2024: There were 4 of us yesterday eating at the refuge, 2 adults and 2 children, the children wanted pizza there aren't many alternatives but the refuge was certainly a good choice, as a Neapolitan and a baker and lover of pan pizza their pizza had a excellent dough and the products were really good, light crumbly, fresh ingredients... If I have to find a small flaw, perhaps a little slow service, the room was full, the management is family-run and they do what they can... Prices in the norm and honest, however well done and thank you

29/08/2024: Si mangia abbastanza bene diciamo che in zona ci sono ristoranti allo stesso prezzo di varietà e qualità superiore. La signora che ci ha servito molto cordiale. Ottima la zuppa di Orapi. Ci siamo rimasti male la sera successiva in quanto volevamo prendere delle pizze da asporto, locale alle 18.50 chiuso abbiamo deciso di ordinare al rientro da una passeggiata alle 19.45 il cameriere ci dice che l’asporto chiude alle 19.30. Premessa 3 pizze non costano nulla da fare a maggior ragione per dei clienti che sono stati lì la sera prima, ma cosa che ci ha stupito è che la sera prima le pizze da asporto sono state consegnate fino alle ore 20.30. Esistono modi e maniere i clienti sono sempre clienti e vanno conquistati.

18/08/2024: Terrible experience, not to be repeated. We had booked this place for a large number of friends so they offered us the fixed menu which we accepted. The service, despite them knowing exactly how big we were and what time we would arrive, started very late and continued with an unacceptable slowness throughout lunch. The portions, after all that waiting, were microscopic and the dessert, expected at the end of the meal, was not served to us with the ridiculous excuse of having drunk too much wine (half a liter in 10 of unlikely wine - it resembled the one made with rolling papers in the 70s!). The coffee, which many of us gave up due to anger and tiredness, was served with a sachet of sugar for 3 people. Never again.

18/08/2024: Organic products, from cured meats to cheese to wine. An intimate, evocative place, illuminated by the memories of those Danish artists who immortalized Civita d'Antino in history. The owner welcoming host, attentive to everything. Also to raise awareness for a peaceful and conscious coexistence with the Marsican brown bear. Excellent value for money, as is every dish. An experience that gave me a few hours of authenticity. I recommend it to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a world of beauty and taste. A hidden corner in the Roveto Valley, where you can taste Abruzzo!

01/06/2024: Pessimo posto, hanno servito il primo poi si sono scordati di noi nonostante abbiamo chiesto 2 volte che volevamo ordinare qualcos'altro,alla fine abbiamo pagato e finito il pranzo in un altro posto, peccato ma non tornerò mai più.

16/08/2024: CLEAN PLACE, YESTERDAY 15 AUGUST (AUGUST 15TH) I ATE VERY DELICIOUS PISTACHIO RAVIOLI, AND A REALLY TASTY PIG, VERY KIND STAFF, QUALITY-PRICE IN THE NORMAL.

22/08/2024: shame about the location because it is located at the entrance of a small medieval village... we had booked, we arrive and they can't find the reservation, they set us up outside, everything is full of earth mixed with mud... dirty chairs and glasses... we ask for water and 2 dirty bottles arrive from inside... nothing... we couldn't stay... I hope this helps them improve because the country deserves it.

22/08/2024: We are from Bologna, on holiday in these parts, they told me to stop for lunch and so we did. 5 of us arrived without a reservation and in the blink of an eye they found us a table. It was a bit like going to visit friends you haven't seen for years. Friendly, welcoming staff and excellent food. Must try the Pallotte, the pie, the lamb, the soups of the day, the sausage... in short, everything is top. If I'm back in those parts, I'll definitely go back.

12/06/2024: I was a guest two years ago for about two months in this hotel... you feel like one of the family... The kindness as well as the availability and friendliness of Mrs. Teresa and her niece are rare things to find in many establishments... they deserve much more... excellent food and always smiling and professional dining room staff... in fact I returned again this year and I confirm the previous reviews

05/08/2024: At Rossana you are on the safe side. Home cooking, local dishes, very tender grilled lamb, ravioli with sauce and excellent fettuccine with mushrooms. Family atmosphere and top quality products. I recommend it to anyone who is near Luco. Everything spectacular

11/08/2024: Super consigliata. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Lo staff è stato molto accogliente e disponibile ad accontentarci con opzioni senza glutine per gli antipasti. La pasta è ottima (Sia con glutine che senza), con porzioni abbondanti. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo. Atmosfera rilassata, buona musica.

03/08/2024: Locale molto accogliente, sia all'interno che all'esterno con un bel giardino;abbiamo mangiato benissimo e buonissimo a partire dagli antipasti fino al dolce. Pasta fatta in casa ottima, tagliata di carne ed agnello cotti al punto giusto, con deliziose patate al forno e verdure come contorno. Credo proprio che ci ritorneremo...

08/08/2024: Cucina ottima con ottimi ingredienti. Pesce fresco pescato nel lago, Coregone e Luccio eccellenti. Consigliatissimo.

29/07/2024: Dopo un bel giro del magnifico lago di Campotosto in bici e stanco di carne ed arrosticini, mi fermo spesso dal Pescatore. Cerco di andarci fuori stagione e nei feriaòli. Il problema è che se cè època gente ti servono subito si ma i prodotti mancano, Di pesce solo il coregone che di questi tempi si trova morente sulle rive del lago (non per inquinamento ma per l'aumento della temperatura del lago). Non c'era il buonissimo luccio e la trota .... in compemso ho preso un primo ai funghi e salsiccia con tagliatelle fatte a mano ma funghi un poi' tagliati..... Secondo un coregone con contorno, buono alla griglia .. attenti alle spine... Conto 27 euro nella media del luogo ma senza scontrino.

20/10/2023: Bel locale, pulito, servizio ottimo, personale cordiale e simpatico, cucina casereccia, rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile. Ho preso un antipasto (7 portate) ed un primo, non ce l'ho fatta a prendere altro perchè ero pieno. Tornerò sicuramente. TOP.

26/08/2024: My husband and I ate here on a Sunday evening in August. A magical place, the cuisine is very good, simple food but prepared with excellent quality and local raw materials. The tavern is run by young, ready, kind and always smiling guys. It was a wonderful experience. I recommend it. The price is right, especially considering that we are at 1400 meters above sea level. Well done!!!!
